Wir sind kürzlich von zwei Wochen in Altinkaya zurückgekehrt. Altinkaya ist etwas von einem Kondom, da die Grundstücke schön gepflegt sind und es einen angenehmen Schwimmbad hat. Wir blieben im Hotel im ersten Stock am Rücken des Gebäudes. Das Zimmer war ruhig und hatte einen Blick auf die Berge , obwohl etwas durch die hohen Bäume, die entlang der Hotelgrenze verdeckt . Das Zimmer war grundlegend mit einem kleinen Kühlschrank, der kaum kalt war, die Klimaanlage gut funktionierte. Es gab eine Kettle und zwei Schlamm, die in einem Tafel versteckt waren, ergänzende Tee und Kaffee wurden nicht gegeben, noch ein Trinkglas, obwohl auf der Frage der Barmann glücklich gegeben uns zwei Weinglasses . Die Brille und die Schmuck wurden während unseres Aufenthalts weder mit frischen Füllen gefüllt. Das Badezimmer bestand aus einem schmalen Bad mit einer über dem Bad Dusche, die im Allgemeinen kalt oder warm war. Die Reinigung und Ersetzung von Handtüchern und Bettwäsche wurde sehr getroffen und missen und ich musste bitten, unser Badezimmer nachdem es nicht mehr für mehrere Tage gereinigt worden war, richtig zu reinigen. Der Pool war angenehm, aber leider waren die Matratzen auf den Loungen grubby und einige der Sonnenschirme schwach und schien mit Schlamm geschwürt. Das Essen im Restaurant war frisch, aber wiederholend und grundsätzlich. Die Besatzung schien dünn auf dem Boden, aber sie waren freundlich und glücklich, zu helfen. Informationen über Reisen und Aktivitäten im Empfangsbereich sind überholt, wir fragten nach Pferderei und wurde gesagt, dass dies nicht nach dem Schnee wieder aufgenommen wurde, aber das Plakat blieb während unseres gesamten Aufenthalts. Die Gemeindebereiche im Hotel sahen sehr schön aus und wir saßen in der Bar (die ich denke, während der kühlen Monate verwendet wird ), während es einen Abend eine schwere Sturm gab. Das Lounge-Bereich hat eine gute Bibliothek von Büchern und es gibt ein großes neues Restaurant. Abschließend hat Altinkaya das Potenzial, ein großes Hotel, es braucht nur einige Aufmerksamkeit auf die Details.

Zu unserer Überraschung schlug der Empfänger nach Konsultation mit dem Eigentümer vor, 3 Gäste in einem gekrampften Doppelzimmer zu bleiben oder für 1 Zimmer zu zahlen, indem sie die Familie trennen. Late night, in a state of extreme fatigue, I was forced to urgently look for a new hotel. Ich habe Zeit verloren, leiden finanziell, bezahlt für die Fahrlässigkeit des Hotels mit meinem Urlaub. Bitte treffen Sie geeignete Maßnahmen und verhindern, dass dies in Zukunft passiert

My wife and Myself were on a Saga/Titan holiday for a week in Kyrenia. After a very early start from the U.K. and a rather long drive to the Oscar Hotel we were so looking forward to a hot shower and dinner. Sadly this did not happen, we were allocated the wrong grade of room and even worse, miles from the nearest elevator. I had to take my invoice from Saga/Titan to reception to prove that we were in the wrong grade of room. We were informed that nothing could be done to rectify the mistake until the next day as the Hotel was full. My wife is disabled, so we spent a miserable night, missed out on our included trip to Nicosia that departed the hotel at 0815 the next day. We were eventually moved to a superb room, (next to an elevator) at approximately 1350 on day two. Things started to look up after the disastrous start to our holiday at the hotel. We were looked after by the lovely ever smiling lady receptionist Merve Didem Emiroglu and the gentleman Azam Mohammad, nothing was too much trouble for them. Azam Mohammad drove my wife and myself down to the pool side for lunch everyday using the hotel golf buggy. He looked after us so well, that we decided to forgo the other Saga/Titan included excursions so that we could chill out and relax at the pool side. The team at the poolside restaurant were a happy bunch and served us very nice luncheons and liquid refreshments. Thanks to them all we had a wonderful relaxing holiday and after talking to some of the other guests on our tour party we feel that we made the right decision to stay put and chillout. Talking about hotel staff putting themselves out for hotel guests . The crown on one of my front teeth decided to part company and left a horrid gap, and we were meant to fly home in approximately 48 hours time. Merve, our favourite receptionist lady, contacted her dentist ,organised a taxi to take us there and back, and have the crown reinstated and put the smile back on my face. First class treatment all-round. I would also like to thank the staff in the dinning room for looking after us and making our dinning experience a pleasure. Sorry we misplaced the slip with your names on, but we will always remember your smiling faces as you looked after us at our table for two. Thank you to all at the hotel Oscar for ensuring we had an excellent weeks stay, wish it could have been longer. PS. For British Tourists. My crown parted company with my mouth six weeks before the start of this holiday. The fee for emergency treatment in the U.K. was £190. The Emergency treatment in Kyrenia including the return taxi fare was a grand total of £16 .(Sixteen Pounds Sterling). And its still there.

Da ich mein Zimmer ausserhalb vom Haupthotel hatte, war das ziemlich mühsam jedesmal den Shuttle zu bestellen - vor allem wenn es regnet. Die Freundlichkeit am Empfang liess auch zu wünschen übrig - eher unaufmerksam. Die Zimmer waren so so la la - es wurde auch nur das nötigste geputzt - sprich Badewanne und Lavabo und das Bett wurde neu gemacht. Aber sonst nichts. Beim Frühstücksbuffet gab es genügend Auswahl - vom Abendessen-Buffet hätte ich mir mehr gewünscht. Bei einem Besuch in einem anderen Hotel zum Abendessen-Buffet wurde ich mehr als überrascht. Das Essen vorzüglich und die doppelte Auswahl als im Vuni Palace. Die Heizung war wohl defekt - beim einschalten auf heizen, hatte ich die ganze Nacht gefroren. Meine Empfehlung : vielleicht mal eine Übernachtung und dann weiterschauen.

We enjoyed a 20 night stay at the Lords palace over Christmas. During the winter months the hotel is far less busy and the facilities/dining room are fine, however i suspect that they would struggle during the busier summer months. We were turned away from the dinner buffet as the restaurant was full on one occasion. Be careful with laundry, we put 2 bags of kids clothes in to be washed and ironed, this cost nearly 300 GBP - it would be much cheaper to use a dry cleaner/laundry shop outside of the hotel. The buffet was good, however lacked options for my kids (10 & 13) who were not keen on the traditional Turkish cuisine and ended up with french fries and kofte most evenings. There is no pork served at this hotel so no bacon or sausage during breakfast service, for those craving an english breakfast there are options in town. Its a soft all-inclusive so limited drinks outside of meal time. Staff at the lobby bar struggled with understanding that our drinks should not of been charged and attempted to charge us each time so we gave up on getting a drink outside of the dinning room. Minibar is chargeable, they provide 2 small waters per day in the room free of charge. Skybar on the roof is all chargeable and very busy at weekends, it is more like a night club. Children are not welcome at night - the rooftop pool is not for use. There was also a mix-up on Christmas day which ended up in me having to pay 120 GBP for christmas lunch that should of been included as i dined in the wrong restaurant, despite me asking before i took a seat if it was included - in my opinion this was the managers fault and i should not of been charged. Overall this was worth the money i paid, but i dont think i would of been happy had i paid any more (135 euro per night) it was myself and my 2 kids (10 & 13) they charged us for 2 adults and 1 kid was free. Its a good 4 star resort.

I want to begin by saying that the bar staff, pool staff, cleaners etc. are the friendliest, most welcoming people and so this review does not reflect on them at all. So we booked for 2 adults and 1 child (13years) through trip.com. After an overnight flight and being extremely tired, we finally arrived at reception to be told that no, we had only booked for 2 adults. We quickly showed the reception staff our email which said '2 adults, 1 child (13years)'. The man on reception told us that there was a comma and not a plus sign and so that meant that it wasn't plus 1 child. This completely baffled as why would the email have a child and age if not booked regardless of commas/+ signs and we continued to insist that we had booked for all of us. After some back and forth, he decided to ring the manager who promptly said that it wasn't something she would accept and that we would have to pay extra for our child. The man told us this and said that as we hadn't booked through the hotel, this wasn't his problem and that I could take it up with trip.com. Now, 2 flights, no sleep and the fact that I have various conditions that effect my mental health so much that I am registered disabled, I admit I responded harshly at this point. How can you advertise through a 3rd party website, be shown the confirmation, and still tell paying customers that this is your problem, not mine? Even if this were true, wouldn't a more appropriate response be 'You clearly have a booking and have come a long way, let's get you settled in a room and then we can either contact trip.com or help you contact them to get this sorted out'? I then asked to speak to the manager myself- the member of staff phoned her but she refused to come to the phone and said if we were unhappy, to cancel our booking and then shut the phone. Cancel and go where with what money? Were we supposed to walk back to London in order to have somewhere safe to sleep? There was no budge and around an hour after arrival, we were told by trip.com to pay the extra and they would refund us. Kudos to them, we were refunded within 2 days and they were extremely helpful. After all of this, there were so many issues with the hotel itself - street digs in the pool, ceiling in living room crumbling and falling, dirty sheets and tiles, the shower flooded every day and at one point was a waterfall down the stairs into the living room and we had to use wvery towel we had to soak it all up, ants everywhere, the list is endless and I have added pictures so people can see it for themselves. I am so disappointed the whole experience was an absolute shambles. To top it all off, I was telling a friend who lives in Cyprus and he knew the owner. He phoned the owner to tell him and the next day we were offered a free meal as an apology - so just because I had a contact, and the owner told you off, you give me a gesture of goodwill? What if I hadn't known anyone, would this gesture have even existed? Or would you have just told us it wasn't your problem? We refused. Disgraceful.

Приезжали на 3 ночи в этот отель (делали визаран из Турции). Прекрасный отель. Великолепный шведский стол. Все свежее и очень вкусное. Выбор блюд очень большой. Чистый, красивый отель. Есть бассейн, сервис , который возит на хороший пляж. На пляже можно пользоваться полотенцами, всей инфраструктурой. Номер хороший, просторный , с удобной большой кроватью и качественным постельным бельем. Полотенца менялись каждый день. Уборка тоже была каждый день. В отеле на первом этаже казино -для любителей такого рода развлечений будет удобно. Обслуживающий персонал вежливый и грамотно выполняет свою работу. Без сомнения, это один из лучших отелей, которые мне довелось посетить. Рекомендую всем!

Wir lesen einige schlechte Bewertungen vor der Buchung und haben noch beschlossen, dieses Hotel zu versuchen. Und wir waren absolut zufrieden mit allem. Die Verwaltung hat offensichtlich einige Verbesserungen seit 2017 gemacht. Gut gemacht. Anständiges Frühstück mit einer breiten Auswahl an Essen und einer Kaffeemaschine. Viele Restaurants in der Nähe, auf der Hauptstraße. Freundliches Personal (vor allem die iranische Frau auf der Rezeption) Nachdem wir das Park Palace Hotel verlassen, haben wir auch in 3 anderen Orten geblieben und betrachten es als das beste Hotel auf unserem Urlaub in Zypern. Wir empfehlen es jedem, der nach einem Budget Hotelzimmer in Kyrenia sucht.

Wir kamen in den frühen Morgenstunden gegen 2 Uhr an, nachdem wir den ganzen Tag unterwegs waren. Ein Taxi setzte uns im geschlossenen Teil des Hotels ab. Dann brauchten wir noch eine Stunde, um die Rezeption zu finden. Das war also automatisch ein schlechter Start. Wir kamen zur Rezeption und wurden von einem netten Typen begrüßt, der uns schnell eincheckte und uns zu unserem Zimmer brachte. Das Zimmer war sauber und geräumig, wir bekamen ein Hauptzimmer des Hotels, schöne Aussicht vom Balkon. Ich hatte ursprünglich um ein Zimmer in der unteren Etage gebeten, aber bei der Ankunft war keines verfügbar. Aber man hinterließ mir einen netten Brief, in dem die Situation erklärt wurde, also blieb ich in dem Zimmer, das ich bekam, um dem Hotel nicht die Mühe zu machen, uns umzubuchen. Aber der Brief hatte eine sehr persönliche Note. Das Frühstück ist ein traditionelles türkisches Frühstück, mit einer Auswahl an Eiern danach, ein sehr schönes Frühstück mit köstlichem Zitronensaft. Das Essen im Café ist auch schön und sehr preiswert. Der Pool war ruhig und entspannend, es war sehr einfach, eine Sonnenliege zu finden, der Typ, der am Pool sitzt, holt einem Getränke, Essen usw. Wir fuhren frühmorgens nach Hause und das Hotel machte uns freundlicherweise Sandwiches für unsere Reise. Danke, Topset, für einen schönen, erholsamen Aufenthalt :)

Vorteile – Lage – Spa – Pool auf dem Dach – Essen Hotel in unmittelbarer Nähe zum Hafen, zu Bars, Geschäften und öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Nachteile: stark befahrene Straße gegenüber von zwei Tankstellen und den ganzen Tag über starker Verkehr. Das Personal an der Rezeption war weder hilfsbereit noch zuvorkommend. Es gibt keine Klimaanlage und unser Zimmer hatte bei der Ankunft um Mitternacht 26,5°. Wir konnten es kaum glauben und mussten auf zwei Ventilatoren bestehen, die wir die ganze Nacht und den Tag, an dem wir im Zimmer waren, dauerhaft eingeschaltet ließen. Bei einigen Steckdosen und Steckern war die Verkabelung lose, so dass wir immer wieder Störungen melden mussten. Unsere Hauptbeschwerde war der starke Benzingeruch, von dem wir annahmen, dass er von der Tankstelle kam. Als wir an der Rezeption anriefen und um einen Umzug in ein anderes Zimmer baten, wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass keine Zweibettzimmer mehr verfügbar seien, aber für ein Fünf-Sterne-Hotel bin ich mir sicher, dass sie uns hätten unterbringen können. Der Gestank war überwältigend. Nachdem sie schließlich eine der Reinigungskräfte angerufen hatte, gab sie an, dass sie nicht die Tankstellen, sondern den Abfluss in der Dusche reinigen würde. Als wir an diesem Abend ins Zimmer zurückkehrten, war der Geruch verschwunden. Am nächsten Morgen begann es jedoch wieder einzudringen. Wir riefen eine andere Putzfrau, machten sie auf den Gestank aufmerksam und zeigten ihr die Steckdosen, die nicht funktionierten. Sie sagte, überlassen Sie es mir, und an diesem Abend war alles repariert, aber uns blieben nur noch zwei Nächte unseres Urlaubs. Der Name der Reinigungskraft war Hava und ich möchte sie der Hotelleitung empfehlen. Unser Gespräch wurde über meine Übersetzungs-App und Gebärdensprache geführt. Trotz allem haben wir unseren Aufenthalt genossen, da die Vorteile die Nachteile überwogen. Ich würde nicht wieder in diesem Hotel übernachten, bis es modernisiert ist. Die Sommermonate müssen unerträglich sein.

The hotel was very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the buffet style meals. There was lots of variety for the mains, although the starters and desserts were similar each day. I had a suite which was very comfortable. I had problems working the shower, but a member of staff came up to help. My stay was nearly over before I learned to work the heating. A fellow guest helped me. No help from the staff. I discovered that the WiFi worked well if I sat on the sofa by the door. It was intermittent in the sleeping area and balcony. Very good in the public areas. I would have liked an indoor pool and a jacuzzi. However I did swim in one of the outdoor pools. I think it would be lovely to stay there in the spring or autumn when it would be possible to enjoy the outdoor areas. An easy walk to the town and harbour, but noisy with a busy road and traffic.

Just returned from another lovely holiday at Sammys Hotel Kyrenia, post covid break. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The staff, Tara, Ali, Jony, Dior, Aziz could not do enough for us. Our room was cleaned everyday, room lady and on occasion the young man were excellent, clean towels and sheets everyday. There were a few changes made from the last time, all for the better. Only downside, for me especially, was the lift had broken and it was hard for me to climb the 3 flights of stairs, but no doubt that will be sorted for the next visit. Roll on September

Under normal circumstances, we would probably not have stayed at the Dome Hotel, as the reviews that we had seen were not brilliant but, as we were on an escorted tour (Jules Verne's Classic Kyrenia Tour), we did not have much of a choice of accommodation and knew that we would be out on trips most days, which meant that it wouldn’t matter too much if the hotel wasn’t perfect. After having spent a week there, we can say that there are plenty of positive things about this hotel, but we can also see why it might get some poor reviews too. Before our arrival, we were in email contact with the Dome to ask a couple of questions and received prompt and helpful responses. We had advised them that it was our wedding anniversary during our stay and were delighted to find out when we arrived that they had upgraded us from a standard room to a two room junior suite (Room 346). The bedroom on its own was a good size anyway, but having the extra lounge room was very useful as the bedroom storage space was a little restricted. The bathroom was also a good size and had a jacuzzi bath, which was a nice touch, but it was a bit awkward to get in and out of, plus it was difficult to use the shower without getting water everywhere, as the shower screens did not meet in the middle. The bathroom fixtures and fittings were rather tatty and dated, as was the room overall, with dark brown being the main colour present. We really did not like the fact that the room’s doors did not have proper secure locks on them, just a push button on the inside, plus we only had one key, which made things a bit awkward if we were going out separately. We were pleased to have an in-room safe, although it seemed odd that it wasn’t actually attached to anything (so it would have been perfectly possible for someone to steal the entire thing). We didn’t have anything from the mini-bar, but there was at least enough spare room for us to keep our own stuff in there. We really liked having 2 balconies, particularly since we had an unrestricted sea view from both of them. The air conditioning worked well, plus we were able to get a nice breeze through the rooms via the balcony doors. We stayed at the Dome on a half-board basis, which meant that we had breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant each day. The food at both meals was of reasonable quality, but not very exciting or varied over the week. We were very surprised to see that the leftover soup from dinner was offered at breakfast the next morning! The puddings at dinner were very good though and we appreciated being able to order fresh omelettes at breakfast. We also liked the fact that bottled water was included with dinner at no extra cost. As the weather was warm during our stay, we chose to eat on the terrace each morning and night, but our experience was often marred by the other guests chain-smoking their way through each mealtime. 18.08.2023'de eşim ve kızımla birlikte Girne'ye tatile gittik. Daha önceden kalmayı planladığımız otel rezervasyonu ile ilgili sorun çıkınca, 2 günlüğüne geçici olarak kalmak üzere Girne limanında bulunan ”White Pearl” isimli otelde yer bulduk. 1 Geceliği için de 2.100 ₺ para verdim! Ama odası, banyosu her yer pis ve bakımsızdı. Mini dolabında boş kutu kola çöpü vardı. Otel değil, sanki terk edilmiş köhne bir apartman dairesi gibiydi. Mecbur olduğumuzdan 2 gün kalmak durumundaydık. Ancak ilk gece böcek ısırmalarından dolayı ertesi gün kalacak yer aramak üzere oteli terk ettik. 1 gün sonra eşimin tüm vücudunda oluşan böcek ısırığı yaraları 2. Gün 2,5 yaşında ki kızımda ve bende de başladı. Tüm vücudumuz yoğun bir şekilde kaşınıyordu. Bir başka otelde yer bulduk. Eşim 2 gece yoğun kaşıntıdan uyuyamadı. Hafta sonu olduğundan nöbetçi bir eczane buldum, eczacıya yaraları gösterdiğimde bize uyuz olduğumuzu söyleyip uyuz kremi verdi, kremi kullandık ancak ızdırap gibi kaşıntılarımız devam etti. Pazartesi günü Girne'de ki devlet hastanesinin aciline gittik. Doktor uyuz olmadığımızı böcek ısırığı olduğunu söyledi ve üçümüze de alerjik ve rahatlatıcı iğne yaptılar. Ailemle birlikte mutlu bir tatil hayaliyle geldiğimiz Girne'de tatilimiz bu otel yüzünden zehir oldu. Tüm vücudumuz yara bere içinde. Kızımın çektiği ızdırabı asla unutmayacağım. Otelin sahibi olan b*** bey 'in telefonunu buldum ve olayın 2. Günü arayıp vücudumuzdaki yaraların resmini attım ve durumu belirttim. Bana sadece; kusura bakmamamı ama böyle bir şeyin mümkün olmadığını, ilk kez bir şikayet aldıklarını söyledi. Ben kendisine şikayetlerimi belirtmeye devam ettikçe bana ”şikayet edin beyefendi, şikayet edin” diyerek konuyu kapattı. Burada yaşayan tanıdığım bir kişi aracılığı ile tanıştığım bir başka kişiye bu olayları anlattığımda bana; ”bu oteli bildiğini, sorunlu ve bakımsız bir mekan olduğunu benzer şikayetleri daha önce de duyduğunu söyledi.Bu otelde kalıp sağlığınızı riske atacağınıza parktaki bankta yatın daha güvende olursunuz.

Ich habe Lavanta Residence über den Booking.com Service (Es gibt einen Buchungsdruck mit 2 Erwachsenen +1 Kind 12 Jahre alt!) über die Anzahl der Gäste und die Ankunftszeit (22:00 Uhr). Zu unserer Überraschung schlug der Empfänger nach Konsultation mit dem Eigentümer vor, 3 Gäste in einem gekrampften Doppelzimmer zu bleiben oder für 1 Zimmer zu zahlen, indem sie die Familie trennen. Late night, in a state of extreme fatigue, I was forced to urgently look for a new hotel. Ich habe Zeit verloren, leiden finanziell, bezahlt für die Fahrlässigkeit des Hotels mit meinem Urlaub. Bitte treffen Sie geeignete Maßnahmen und verhindern, dass dies in Zukunft passiert
