I wouldn't book the room with no aircon, it was too hot! There is no reception desk that is open so you have to talk to someone on WhatsApp and give your tax etc, this meant there was nowhere secure that we could leave our bags, so I'd bear that in mind. Location is quite far from centre, not walking distance, however a grab is only cheap (£1/2) to get there. Was a clean place

A very clean European-style youth hostel, with very cute kittens downstairs. The air conditioning is sufficient, the location is convenient, the facilities are well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole environment is very clean, because you need to take off your shoes. The cat is very well behaved and cute, and the atmosphere is very warm. Have to take off your shoes when entering the door. The hostel is chic and practically design, the accommodation was tidy and cozy with affordable price. Moreover, the spacious common area and separated Male/Female bathrooms, simple pantry with 3in1 coffee, tea bag, snacks, water dispenser and microwave oven. There are 3 cute & friendly cats in the hostel too. The public space design is not very interactive. The capsules or boxes are comfortable. Have good locker system which uses card. The capsule pod was poor ventilation after cover by curtain as there is no mini fan and exhaust fan, towel not provided. After pulling the curtains and turning on the light, you can clearly see dust flying around. It is generally very clean, but the bed is relatively small This dormitory hostel has strategic location and are good, small, noisy electronic lockers, privacy curtains don't bring that much privacy. Staff don't seem to care a lot about what's happening and the staff are not that friendly. The mattress was comfortable. The lobby was clean and offered complimentary hot water and snacks, which was a nice touch. There are no bath towels and slippers, and it costs RM5 to ask for a bath towel. No hot water for shower and 2in1 shampoo/body wash provided but rarely replenish. The bathroom and toilet have windows to the outside, so they are more ventilated, the space is large, and they are very comfortable to use. The shower head has a brass retro shape, which is super beautiful. No deposit needed, easy to check in and check out. Location is strategic and near to major attractions, shopping malls and eateries within walking distance. But no lift and amenities. Have to climb up stairs and suitable for younger generations.

Bleibt im Vintage Inn @ Melaka als Budget-freundliche Option während meiner Reise nach Melaka. Die Lage ist ziemlich bequem (nahe Melaka Riverside & wandelbar bis Jonker Street, Dutch Square) und der Preis ist erschwinglich, was es attraktiv für kurze Aufenthalte oder Backpackers macht. Die Reinigung lässt jedoch etwas zu wünschen übrig, insbesondere in den gemeinsamen Badezimmern, die häufiger Reinigung und Wartung nutzen könnten. Die allgemeine Atmosphäre des Innenraums ist ok, aber ein wenig mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf die Hygiene würde wirklich die Erfahrung verbessern.

This hotel is truly impressive! The room was comfortable, the facilities were modern and the price was surprisingly affordable. A perfect combination of comfort and value for money. Highly recommended!

Der Preis reflektierte es wert. Es ist billig und Front Desk ist 24/7 sogar wenn wir von Whatsapp anmelden müssen, während wir bereits im Lobby sind. Zimmer ist etwas klein, aber sauber, Toilette ist sauber, ich habe Handtücher und ich bring meine eigenen Toiletten. Das Wasserdispenser ist draußen. Mehrwertsteuer, kein Fenster für dieses Zimmer Es ist perfekt bequem für Schlaf und Ruhe, aber nicht für Urlaub, es sei denn, Sie sind auf Budget.

I had a really good stay at Discovery Youth Hostel, Melaka. The location is honestly perfect — right in the old town, walking distance to Jonker Street, cafes, night markets, and all the main attractions. The place is simple, clean, and comfortable, exactly what you expect from a good hostel. For the price, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is chill, good for solo travelers and backpackers, and it’s easy to meet people. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location in Melaka, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay here again.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber und komfortabel. Wenn Sie die Klimaanlage öffnen, wird es kalt und Sie können nachts ein gutes Schlafen. Die Temperatur des Schlauchs ist zugute, der Wasserdruck ist stabil und leicht zu benutzen. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und ich bin sicher, weil es lächeln wird. Ich bin sehr dankbar, dass Sie mir die Toiletten kostenlos schulden können. Es gibt einen Tisch am Fluss, und Sie können den Fluss ausruhen sehen. Die Lage ist sehr bequem, aber das nahegelegene Restaurant läuft bis Mitte der Nacht, so dass Sie vielleicht etwas besorgt über die Stimme draußen sein können. Darüber hinaus kann es für Menschen mit langer Wohnzeit sehr unkomfortabel sein, ohne Waschmaschine. Im Allgemeinen ist Cospa sehr gut und es wird stark empfohlen, kurzfristig zu bleiben.

This place is really good for solo travelers. Room is clean, toilet is clean. River is nearby and all shops are nearby. Highly reccomended.

A nice place, a bit far from the attractions so had to take a taxi but there are lots of places to eat. No elevator and you have to go up a flight of stairs. Nice place for solo travelers.

Nun...die Lage ist toll. Zentraler und romantischer kann man nicht residieren. Das Zimmer irgendwie auch gemütlich, absolut old schook. toller Ausblick auf dem Fluss. Der Besitzer meganett. Aber... Gebucht waren 36m2. Der Raum hatte 16m2 plus ein kleines Bad ohne Warmwasser... Auch das ausziehen der Schuhe an der Haustür plus barfuß laufen durch das Haus ist Geschmackssache. Das Angebot muss dringend überarbeitet werden. Und der Preis ist dann dafür zu hoch. Aber trotzdem zu empfehlen für den passenden mieter. Aber ich würde das nicht mehr buchen... Zu schrullig. Zu teuer. Und viel zu viele barrieren im ganzen Haus. Die Toilette ist für Kleinwüchsige konzipiert.
