A very clean European-style youth hostel, with very cute kittens downstairs. The air conditioning is sufficient, the location is convenient, the facilities are well maintained, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The whole environment is very clean, because you need to take off your shoes. The cat is very well behaved and cute, and the atmosphere is very warm. Have to take off your shoes when entering the door. The hostel is chic and practically design, the accommodation was tidy and cozy with affordable price. Moreover, the spacious common area and separated Male/Female bathrooms, simple pantry with 3in1 coffee, tea bag, snacks, water dispenser and microwave oven. There are 3 cute & friendly cats in the hostel too. The public space design is not very interactive. The capsules or boxes are comfortable. Have good locker system which uses card. The capsule pod was poor ventilation after cover by curtain as there is no mini fan and exhaust fan, towel not provided. After pulling the curtains and turning on the light, you can clearly see dust flying around. It is generally very clean, but the bed is relatively small This dormitory hostel has strategic location and are good, small, noisy electronic lockers, privacy curtains don't bring that much privacy. Staff don't seem to care a lot about what's happening and the staff are not that friendly. The mattress was comfortable. The lobby was clean and offered complimentary hot water and snacks, which was a nice touch. There are no bath towels and slippers, and it costs RM5 to ask for a bath towel. No hot water for shower and 2in1 shampoo/body wash provided but rarely replenish. The bathroom and toilet have windows to the outside, so they are more ventilated, the space is large, and they are very comfortable to use. The shower head has a brass retro shape, which is super beautiful. No deposit needed, easy to check in and check out. Location is strategic and near to major attractions, shopping malls and eateries within walking distance. But no lift and amenities. Have to climb up stairs and suitable for younger generations.

Der Eincheck ist ein wenig belastend, wo Sie den Besitzer kontaktieren müssen und sie geben Ihnen Anweisungen, wie man die Schlüssel aufnehmen, wo sie zu bekommen, aber glücklicherweise ist der Auscheck sehr einfach. Sie müssen einfach die Schlüssel in der Box für den Auscheck fallen. Die Umgebung ist insgesamt ziemlich sauber, es gibt ein Restaurant vorne, nahe der Hauptstraße, so ist es sehr einfach zu finden. Aber es ist nicht in der Nähe bekannter Orte wie Fluss Kreuzfahrt, Taming Sari, Einkaufszentrum.

Es ist sehr komfortabel für mich als Geschäftsreisende zu bleiben. Ruhe und gut schlafen!

I had a really good stay at Discovery Youth Hostel, Melaka. The location is honestly perfect — right in the old town, walking distance to Jonker Street, cafes, night markets, and all the main attractions. The place is simple, clean, and comfortable, exactly what you expect from a good hostel. For the price, it’s totally worth it. The vibe is chill, good for solo travelers and backpackers, and it’s easy to meet people. If you’re looking for a budget-friendly stay in a great location in Melaka, this is a solid choice. Would definitely stay here again.

This place is really good for solo travelers. Room is clean, toilet is clean. River is nearby and all shops are nearby. Highly reccomended.

A nice place, a bit far from the attractions so had to take a taxi but there are lots of places to eat. No elevator and you have to go up a flight of stairs. Nice place for solo travelers.

Nun...die Lage ist toll. Zentraler und romantischer kann man nicht residieren. Das Zimmer irgendwie auch gemütlich, absolut old schook. toller Ausblick auf dem Fluss. Der Besitzer meganett. Aber... Gebucht waren 36m2. Der Raum hatte 16m2 plus ein kleines Bad ohne Warmwasser... Auch das ausziehen der Schuhe an der Haustür plus barfuß laufen durch das Haus ist Geschmackssache. Das Angebot muss dringend überarbeitet werden. Und der Preis ist dann dafür zu hoch. Aber trotzdem zu empfehlen für den passenden mieter. Aber ich würde das nicht mehr buchen... Zu schrullig. Zu teuer. Und viel zu viele barrieren im ganzen Haus. Die Toilette ist für Kleinwüchsige konzipiert.

Ein zentrales und neu errichtetes Hotel. Sehr angenehm, sauber und gemütlich mit komfortablen Betten und Kissen. Großes A/C und TV. Sachen, die sich verbessern: langsam im Prozess (~15 Minuten), die meisten Zimmer haben keine Fenster, keine Zahnbürste. Neben diesen, eines der besten Hotels in dieser kleinen Stadt. wert das Geld und sehr komfortabel für 2 pro Nacht Aufenthalt.
