This place is really nice. The facilities are well provided. Clean bathroom with warm water. And the location is highly convenient, close to lake and supermarket

Due to the season, all the hotels in the area were booked out, so I had to stay in a dormitory room in this hotel. The hotel itself is nice. The room was very small, but clean and ok for this type of room. There is a shared kitchen, rest area, as well as laundry which is great. The location is 15-20 mins walk from the town center, but it’s ok. However, the service is not good. It was the male manager who checked me in. When I asked the manager if there was a breakfast option, he laughed at my face and told me: “Girl, your room is like what, 30 bucks and you want breakfast?”. This was really rude and unacceptable. Moreover, I didn’t even mean for the breakfast to be included in the room price, but wondered if I could buy one since I don’t have much experience of living in hostels. Therefore, I deduct some point for such an arrogant behavior from the staff who represent the hotel.

Located near the fun Regent;s street with lots of restaurants and bars, near the convention center and cathedral, but a bit farther away from the Riverside market etc (10-15 min walk). Staff is friendly, kitchen is really big and has everything, with lost of fridges and storage space. I booked the room for myself, it was very comfortable. They provide big towels, which is nice. No hair drier though. Right next to bus stop to airport.

Unter dem Bett befindet sich ein Schließfach zum Aufbewahren von Dingen, und es bietet Platz für einen ganzen großen Trolley-Koffer. Das Restaurant ist Selbstbedienungsrestaurant mit Töpfen und Pfannen, sodass Sie Ihr eigenes Essen zubereiten können. Die Umgebung ist sehr komfortabel, es gibt Sofas, Hängematten und Schaukeln.

Das Zimmer ist sauber, aber klein. Es ist eine Jugendherberge. Dusche und Toilette sind öffentliche Räume. Die Kochfläche ist groß. Es liegt im Zentrum der Stadt. Sie müssen unbedingt hingehen und Hummer-BBQ essen.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen, nur wenige Gehminuten vom See entfernt. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Die Küche ist bestens mit Koch- und Reinigungsutensilien ausgestattet. Sowohl die Unterkunft als auch die Gemeinschaftsbereiche waren jederzeit makellos sauber.

Die Zimmer sind sauber, es gibt zwei Gemeinschaftsbäder und die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Geschirr. Es gibt ein Restaurant und ein Wohnzimmer mit Kaffeemaschine, was sehr praktisch ist. Die Lage ist gut, nicht weit vom Supermarkt entfernt, was das Einkaufen erleichtert.

Really cool location to spend a night in a jail, but a bit away from city center. Beds where comfy but lacks curtains for more privacy. Bathrooms a quite old.

Haka House Hostels Aoraki Mt Cook is a fantastic base for exploring one of New Zealand’s most stunning landscapes. The hostel is clean, modern, and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and spacious communal areas that make it easy to relax after a long day of hiking. The large kitchen is fully equipped, which is perfect for self-catering, and the lounge offers incredible views of the surrounding mountains. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready with tips on local trails and weather conditions. The atmosphere is social but not too noisy, making it suitable for both solo travelers and groups. Its location is unbeatable, just a short walk from key viewpoints and tracks. Overall, a great value stay in an unforgettable setting.
