The accommodation situated right in front of Lake Tekapo. Walking distance to lupins field, Church of the Good Shepherd, stargazing tours’ pickup points, grocery stores and restaurants. Short drive to Mt John summit & Tekapo Springs (both walkable from accommodation as well if you are up for some long walk :))

ちょうどイースター🐣週間でお店が閉まっていましたので電話してドアを開けてもらいました。
お店がバーなので普段は人が多いかもしれませんがお店のスタッフさんに確認を取るといいと思います。皆さんとても気さくで優しい方が多いので安心してお部屋に入れます。個室は写真の通りで、冷蔵庫も付いています。清潔に保たれておりとても居心地が良かったです。雨が降っており外気温の低下ありましたがお部屋に影響はありません。共用スペースのキッチン、シャワーとトイレですがこのお店が1800年代からあるので歴史を感じます。しかし、キッチンはリメイクされIH対応。私はガスしか使ったことなかったですが問題なく利用できました！
また、私はラグビーの試合を見る予定がありましたのでこのホテルに決めました。歩いて15分くらいで、McDonaldなどもあり基本的に街灯がついていますので治安も問題ないかと思います。
他のドリトミーなどよりもとてもお勧めできますのでぜひお試しあれ！

I checked in around midnight. There's a key safe at the entrance, they send you a code, and you take your key card. There are many cool people inside. The place is very clean, the staff is friendly. For the price, this place is just perfect for a couple of nights.
I booked a 3-bed female-only dorm.

An absolutely fabulous place. Really playing on yhe history of the building all while still giving privacy, security and fun.
Location is super close to a variety of restaurants, cafes and take-away stores, and a general store for those forgotten small items.
Parking is free but it's a first come, first serve scenario.
I loved staying there and highly recommend to any traveler looking for a funky and reasonably priced accommodation.

Gute Ausstattung, es ist halt ein Hostel.
Leider auch etwas laut und die Hochbetten sind wackelig, sodass man merkt, wenn sich der andere unten bzw oben umdreht.

Hostel vibe that has everything you need. The location was great as it was very easy to walk the seal colony and whale watching tour.
We did our laundry their too which was easy to use and the host was very helpful with that as well as when we had issue with checking in.
A few hobs didn’t work in the kitchen which make it a bit challenging to cook if there were other people.

LLouis ConnorWe were running late and were going to miss the advertised check-in time, so I called ahead to find out what to do. Although no-one answered the phone, we were informed by the automated answerphone that if you missed check-in, they would leave your keys to your room in a lock-box outside reception. This is a major plus for travellers as it can be so hard to execute your travel plans to schedule!
The facilities in The Lodge, where we were staying were mostly communal and hostel-like - people seemed to hang around in hallways. For some this could be a great way to socialise or otherwise intimidating. These communal areas were slightly untidy and unclean. We stayed in a room with en-suite facilities. It was very basic with two large twin beds pushed together to make a King-sized bed. The shower temperature fluctuated massively but we had a comfortable stay.
We did not eat on-site as we found it to be overpriced but we did notice that there was a wide range of social events such as a pub quiz which would have been super fun if we had more time!

Personal sehr bemüht, gute Zimmer, Pods ok, leider nur mit Vorhang. Ruhig, trotz Flughafennähe. Tolle Küche und sehr schöner Loungebereich.
Leider Labelling am Kühlschrank so schlecht, dass man mir 2 Coladosen klaute trotz Namenbeschriftung...ärgerlich! Aber zu empfehlen aufgrund der Lage.

DDragan S** Komfortable Aufenthalt mit großer Service**
Ich hatte einen angenehmen Aufenthalt im **Rosewood Court Motel**. Das Zimmer war geräumig, sauber und gut ausgestattet mit allen wesentlichen Dingen, einschließlich einem komfortablen Bett und einer kleinen Küche. Das Wi-Fi war zuverlässig und der Parkplatz war bequem.
Das Personal war freundlich und freundlich, immer bereit, mit allen Anfragen zu helfen. Die Lage war auch großnah zu Geschäften, Restaurants und einfachen Zugang zur Stadt.
Insgesamt ist es eine gute Wahl für einen komfortablen und hartnäckigen Aufenthalt. Ich würde sicherlich noch einmal hier bleiben.

GGastnutzerI have given 5 stars to this motel for the service, cleanliness and amenities because each aspect of these beat my expectations! I am usually very conservative in giving reviews.
Initially I was expecting very basic service given it is a motel. But when I opened the door of the room I was quite surprised. You could feel the room is very clean and bright. The amenities are sufficient to make a simple meal for yourself. There is also daily housekeeping services as well (given it is a motel).
The staff at the reception are also very helpful. When I first arrived, the reception lady asked me where I planned to go and showed me the ways.
The motel is also close (5-10 minutes walk) to the Main Street at Riccarton and there are a lot of restaurants there. You can also take bus to the city centre which takes about 30 minutes including waiting.
The motel is also very close to the Christchurch railway station which is only 10 minutes walk, great if you are taking the scenic trains. There are also a number of shops near the Railway station and you can do some shopping for clothes, vitamins and fresh food too!

圣圣代千层雪Dies ist ein in chinesischem Besitz befindliches Motel im Herzen von Riccarton, neben dem chinesischen Supermarkt, etwa 4-5 Kilometer vom Zentrum von Christchurch entfernt. Wir wohnen in einer Zweizimmerwohnung. Die Einrichtungen und Geräte sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, werden aber noch normal genutzt. Die obere und untere Etage des Zimmers mit jeweils einem Schlafzimmer und Bad können zum Kochen genutzt werden, was für eine Familie geeignet ist. Der Preis ist relativ zufriedenstellend. Geeignet für selbstfahrende Freunde.

Two nights, a solo traveler in a 10 bed shared room.
The room was quiet even though we were 10. There are curtains. A window in the room with a view on the mountains.
The first day it snowed all day, I stayed inside, there are really comfortable sofas. The kitchen is really well equipped.
There is a Sauna !!!
The area is absolutely beautiful, with snow it's one of the best places I've ever been.

NNanny GloI only stayed 1 night, and I'm relatively new to the South Island. I had to catch the intercity bus and was stressing out I would miss my bus, or go to the wrong bus stop. I went to the office, and after a very patient 12ish minutes (on the lady working in receptions part), she understood what I wanted. She was so lovely. I was waiting until 8am to come and say a huge thank you, but my Uber came early. The heater heated the room up nicely, the pressure of the shower was great. The bed was well made and comfortable. I too am a housekeeper/cleaner and really appreciated coming into a nice, clean environment. If I have anything to say as an improvement, it would be to have a better tea towel. A nothing issue and a $2 fix. I absolutely loved my stay at your motel and highly recommend it.
