My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

Second time I've stayed there. Good value for money and friendly staff. Rooms were clean and tidy but the bathroom was a little. Overall it was pleasant stay

Kevin and June are friendly and approachable. The rooms are provided with the basic amemities. The location is convenient since we are driving. The only drawback is our rooms are on the upper level and there is no elevator.

The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the essentials, including a comfortable bed and a small kitchenette. The Wi-Fi was reliable, and the parking was convenient. The staff was friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with any requests. The location was also great—close to shops, restaurants, and easy access to the city. Overall, it’s a good choice for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Ich bekam ein kostenloses Upgrade auf eine Zimmerkategorie und war daher sehr zufrieden (die auf dem Bild gezeigte Zimmerkategorie ist nicht die gebuchte). Das À-la-carte-Frühstück hat sehr gut geschmeckt.

Ich habe für zwei Nächte in einem gemischten Schlafzimmer geblieben. Die Lage des Hakka House ist gut. Der Interstate-Bus fällt Sie dort hin und holt Sie nach oben. Wandern nach Hermitage Hotel oder Besucherzentrum ist etwa 15 Minuten oder so. Von Visitor Centre können Sie zu ****** Valley track oder Kea Point track, jede ist 1 Stunde eine Straße. Ich empfehle ****** Valley track. Die Leute in Hakka House halten in der Regel eine Nacht. In jedem Fall wechselten meine Zimmerkollegen für beide Nächte so früh wie 9:30 Uhr aus den Lichtern des Zimmers. Das Zimmer ist zu reichlich und heiß, da es nur einen Zoll von dem Fenster öffnet, wahrscheinlich zu kalt, wenn das Fenster mehr öffnet. Der Duscheraum ist relativ teu (sehr sehr abhängig von den Benutzern), aber es scheint, dass es nur ein Haartrockner für den ganzen Bodenboden, das nicht bequem ist. Stellen Sie sich vor, eine Dame mit langem Haar muss es mindestens 15 Minuten oder so verwenden und es gibt viele Damen, die das Haartrockner verwenden müssen. Die Küche ist beeindruckend. Gut gepflegt und sauber, auch gute Belüftung.

Ich dachte, dieser Ort war großartig. Die Küche war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Badezimmer waren in unserem Gebäude, das für kalte Nächte großartig ist. Die Kommunikation war großartig!

Das Motelzimmer ist sehr sauber, das Auto hat auch einen Parkplatz, nicht weit vom Stadtzentrum entfernt und insgesamt ist es gut. Nur die Schalldämmung ist nicht sehr gut. Wir leben in einer kleinen Villa mit Blick auf die Straße. Das einstöckige Glas im zweiten Stock ist etwas laut, wenn ein großes Auto fährt. Aber trotzdem empfehlenswert, die Chinesen an der Rezeption sind lockerer
