Our stay at The Lodge was nice. There were a few little things that I questioned, but that honestly is normal & did not really effect our stay. Everything in the lodge was clean & I do not know what wonderful smell they are pumping through the building... but walking into the lobby was wonderful! The decor was nicely decked out in holiday cheer! The Christmas Trees were beautiful too. We booked a King Suite, as the pic on Trip.com showed a jacuzzi tub in the suite. This is not the case. In fact, The staff at the front desk said they have not had jacuzzi tubs in the rooms for over 8 years. That was a disappointment... And King suites do not have a balcony, but Queen suites do have a balcony with sliding doors! They front desk did not offer to help with that misunderstanding, as offering a ”Fireplace room” (they said the jacuzzi rooms now had fireplaces after the removal of said tubs??... but no fireplace in my suite) or offering anything else... probably because I booked thru a third party(trip.com). It was definitely a spacious room, but a little overly ”roomy” with just a king bed, 2 nightstands,the entertainment/dresser, completely with a fridge in the cabinet, a very small ”dining table”, a glass coffee table & a pull out couch. The thermostat was set at a scorching 75 degrees, which I immediately turned down. At first, I figured it was just a fluke, but the power did go out one evening & sure enough, when the power was restored the thermostat reset to 75 again! We dined at the bar on a few occasions, which was nice & staffed ok, not the latest hours for a bar. The food is good & of course a little pricey. I'm sure there is a lot more to do during the nicer seasons... the answer for everything it seemed was ”it is the off season”. Overall, it was a nice place to stay in wine country & probably will return next year.

Reisen für einen Tod in der Familie, bei unserer Ankunft, was ein wenig vor der 3:00PM check in wir wurden informiert, sie waren kurz in der Hauspflege und ein Zimmer war noch nicht verfügbar und wenn wir OK mit einem behinderten Zimmer, Ich hatte kein Problem, weil ich behindert bin. Keine große, wir gingen zum Abendessen. Das Problem war, dass wir nicht telefoniert haben, bis nach 6PM, 3 Stunden vor der Zeit, dass Sie einchecken konnten und unser Zimmer war ein Standardzimmer, offensichtlich nicht um Hilfe bei Menschen mit Behinderungen. Wenn es einen Blickservice in diesem Abend gab, wäre es ein großes Problem, weil wir unsere Sachen in einen anderen Familienmitgliederraum setzen mussten. Wir haben das vorgesehen. Als wir endlich in unserem Zimmer kamen, war es wie 2 Stück Toilettenpapier auf der Rolle ohne zusätzliche Rollen verfügbar. Noch einmal, keine Biggie, ging zum Vordertisch und sie kümmerten sich um sie schnell. Tag der Beerdigung, gehen Sie eine Dusche, keine Körperwaschung. Nochmals wurde der Vordertafel angemeldet und sie kümmerten sich um ihn. Unsere letzte Nacht, ich wurde durch eine Uhr aufwacht, die aus einem anderen Raum kam, der mich früher aufwach als ich meine eigene Warnung hatte. Ich wollte nicht gehen und versuchen, diesen mysteriösen Alarm zu finden und es aus zu halten, aber der Alarm reichte gut über 15 bis 20 Minuten. Die Warmwasserbereitung war schön, um sich zu entspannen, aber Sand war auf dem Boden, und der Pool war sehr kalt für mich. Ich werde sagen, dass das Personal, das auf der Sicht war, sehr freundlich und hilfreich zu ihrer besten Fähigkeit, angesichts ihres Mangels an Menschen zu tun die erforderlichen Jobs, und ich habe geschätzt, es war Parkplatz für Veteranen. Wenn ich nur mit meiner Frau und meinen Kindern reiste, würde ich für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden, aber wenn ich sah, wie dies der Ort war, wo meine Familie beschlossen, dass wir alle gehen, damit wir in unserer Zeit des Trauers zusammen sein könnten, ist es, was es ist. Ich werde nicht in diese Kette von Hotels für zukünftige Reisepläne suchen.

I had a very disappointing and uncomfortable experience with the front desk staff. I arrived at the hotel Sunday 01 march around 12:30 PM and politely asked if early check-in was possible. The two women working at the reception told me that no rooms were available until 4:00 PM. I said that was fine and that I would wait in the lobby. However, while I was waiting, several other guests arrived and they were checked in immediately. It was very clear that rooms were available, which made the situation feel unfair. Later, I approached the desk again with the same guests who were checking in and said that I had a reservation for today. The receptionist acted as if nothing had happened and looked visibly annoyed. During check-in, she tried to charge my card again for the reservation, even though my booking had already been fully paid online. When I saw the amount and asked what it was for, she could not clearly explain it. I had to tell her again that the reservation was already paid. Both receptionists then started checking the system and appeared irritated and nervous in front of other guests. Eventually they explained that there was a security deposit of $50 per day, which I completely understood and agreed with. However, they attempted to charge the wrong amount again, and I had to question it once more before they finally corrected the charge to the proper deposit amount. Overall, the situation was extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional. First I was told to wait until 4 PM while other guests were checked in, and then I had to deal with confusion about charges that should have been clear from the beginning. The hotel facilities are good, but the front desk service was very disappointing and needs improvement.

Das Frühstück im Hotel ist kaum etwas zu essen, so dass es ein Wal-Mart- Haus auf der anderen Seite gibt, es gibt Küchengeräte im Zimmer, die Sie selbst essen können.

Not bad of a hotel, wish I utilized the indoor pool though haha but the room was comfortable & clean. The breakfast is alright though nothing extravagant just very basic but at least it was free

Nicht schlechter Ort Marcus war sehr nett und half uns. Nicht super sauberer Ort, aber wenn Sie einfach in den Menschen zu stoppen sind nett und arbeiten spät.

This hotel is aging, but the location is amazing! We traveled to Cleveland for my son's birthday trip to a Cavs game. Upon arrival, the valet was extremely congested. No one came out to welcome us or anything so I thought all the valet were out parking cars. Instead, three of them were inside, laughing and talking. There was no mention of cost anywhere, so I was very surprised at the $50/day charge upon checkout. Considering it took them an hour to bring my car back to me upon check out, I would say that charge is VERY exaggerated. When we went to check in, I was surprised that they needed a credit card to hold $200 on. I prepaid and expected they would need a card on file, not to hold funds. Anyway, our first room seemed nice. It had an amazing view of Rocket Arena. But, I decided to rest a minute and when I looked at the ceiling, it was falling apart!! This was something I decided to give a pass on, considering the age of the building. However, when I got up to shower and there was a huge clump of long brown hair on the wall, that was too much for me. I went to the front desk and they were very nice about the issue and quickly moved us to another room. The rooms are basic. There is an armoire with an iron, two bottles of water, a coffee maker and coffee and a mini fridge. The televisions in the rooms are very large, that was nice. Check out was easy, just a lobby full of people all waiting for their cars to show up! The only other thing I can say is that I paid for a supreme room through Trip and was only given a standard room. So, there must be a miscommunication between Trip and the hotels. Be wary...

Die Lage war Primo direkt von Interstate 71, es war sehr einfach zu finden. Sauberkeit war gut. Ich denke, das war ein riesiges Konferenzzentrum zu einem Zeitpunkt, das bessere Tage gesehen hat. Es gibt einen großen Innenpool, und ein großes Restaurant, das nicht in Betrieb war (das Restaurant ). Der Innengartenraum muss fantastisch gewesen sein, aber es braucht schwere Pflege. Große tote Pflanzen, extrem heiß und feuchte vom Pool, den ich vermute. Das Hotel aussieht sehr dunkel, ich kann nur schätzen, wie viel es würde kosten, um Klimaanlage und die Lage zu halten. Service war ok, es war ein Mann, der nur ok im Vergleich zu der Morgenperson, die glücklich und erholt war. Ich sah den Mann, der große Anstrengungen unternommen hat, um mit den Kartenschlüsseln zu helfen, die nicht funktioniert, etc. Das Zimmer war gut außer für die extrem hohe A/C-Einheit. Es gab kein Haartrockner im Badezimmer. Die Toilette lief gelegentlich weiter, was ich manuell fixierte. Genug mit Handtüchern und so, aber mehr Barsaft hätten benutzt werden können. Der TV war einer der einfachsten, um mich zu benutzen. Das angekündigte kontinentale Frühstück bestand aus trockenem Getreide für die Kinder, Milch und Joghurt im Kühlschrank, schwachen Kaffee, Apfelsaft, frisches Obst und Oatelmehl, um sich zu vermischen. Er brauchte mehr heißes Wasser zu verwenden. Er brauchte auch einen Körbe von Decaffee. Der Außenbereich hatte Parkplätze für Hunderte. Erhielt die Fläche ziemlich gut. Das Bett war komfortabel, und ich liebe die Kissen, sie waren gerade richtig. Ich denke, alle Tücher im Ort brauchen Dampfreinigung, sie riechen nicht, aber sie waren sehr dunkel. Wieder einmal braucht dieser Ort eine große Bareinfuhr und einige Mitarbeiter müssen zurück zur Gastgeberschule zurück.

We had positive experience in my past stays at LaQuinta. However, the recent stay at Hilliard, OH was quite different. Key issues were moldy shower curtain and housekeeping. Specifically: 1 Failure to reinstall replacement shower curtain until the night shift manager, “Mohamed” personally came to our room to install it around 11 PM. 2 We put “Do not Disturb” sign on the outside door handle. It was intended to having housekeeper coming back at later time after we left the room at 11AM with the sign removed. However, no housekeeping was done. The explanation we got was “Whenever housekeeper saw the “Do not Disturb” sign, they just assumed no housekeeping was needed. Most of the hotels I stayed in, the housekeeping would be automatically done later after the sign was removed, or at least a curtesy call /message will be left on room phone. Two of the four nights we stayed, housekeeping work only included bed made. No vacuum, garbage can not emptied, used cups not replaced, sink and counter not cleaned. Suggestion: Replace current sign which has “Do Not Disturb” on both sides to “Do not Disturb” on one side and “Please Clean Room” on the other side. This would make it clear to housekeepers to perform their normal services. We checked in on Thursday evening. On Friday morning, we found that the left side of the heavy window curtain was stuck. We reported it to the front desk and were promised that it would be taken care of. Nothing was ever done. We were only able to have partial daylight and only saw half of the outside scene during our entire stay.

The hotel was centrally located to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Although the parking was not right on the property it was in a covered parking lot within a short walk to the hotel and the cost was included in our stay ! The front lobby looked rather new and was clean and shiny. Front desk staff was welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel room was very clean and accommodating for 2 of us and came with the amenities you would generally expect. We had a king bed and it was comfortable, although the pillows were rather soft and despite both of us having 2 pillows each we could have used 1 or 2 more to be more comfortable. The included breakfast buffet was well done with a good variety of choices for us as we eat a carnivore diet. The coffee was a good as you would get at Starbucks. I don't know her name but the staff member who kept the buffet full was definitely one of the hardest working individuals I have seen. She was friendly, accommodating and exceptional and the hotel should award her appropriately. The only negative to our stay was that on the 2nd day of being there we returned later in the day after sightseeing and our room had not been serviced by housekeeping. I called the front desk and the staff person who had checked us in informed me that they had forgotten to tell us that housekeeping is only every other day. Staff member did provide us with additional towels however it would have been nice to have the bed turned down and used towels taken away.
