The hotel room is pretty big by Japan standards, and the feeling of the hotel is really grand! Lots of locals were staying there, but the rooms are a little bit dated. The toilet lights were quite dim and the bathrooms could use an update. However, everything worked perfectly and the stay was still extremely enjoyable! The hotel is situated right next to a bus stop so that makes things super convenient! There’s also a family mart behind the hotel (shortcut! go out of the main door, turn right, walk down the ramp, immediately turn right and right again into the small path, go up the stairs past the hotel park, then turn left and cross the small roads, and you’ll find the konbini) The hotel also rents out bicycles to hotel guests FOC, so you can take the bike literally anywhere! We rode to the supermarket (~10 mins away) and also down by the river (10/10 recommended!) and just explored lots around! Gifu is a lovely quiet town and we would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to experience a side of Japan that isn’t just Tokyo or Osaka.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist sehr gut, es gibt viele heiße Quellen zum Eintauchen. Die heißen Quellen sind sehr angenehm und haben ein japanisches Flair. Es liegt in der Nähe der JR-Linie, des Flusses und es gibt heiße Quellen zum Fußbaden auf der Straße, was sich sehr gemütlich anfühlt.

Free parking the car park is right in front of the hotel’s main entrance, very convenient for drivers. Das Zimmer war sauber. Das drei ‑ Bettzimmer war für unsere Familie ausreichend (2 Erwachsene, ein 12 ‑Jahr ‑alter, ein 9 ‑Jahr ‑alter, und ein 5 ‑Jahr ‑alter). Das Frühstück war gut. Der Onsen war auch nett und sauber. Sie bieten sogar komplimentäre Popsiklen nach dem Onsen meine Kinder lieben sie. Die Mitarbeiter waren sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Insgesamt, guter Wert für Geld.

Es ist ein kleines Hotel im japanischen Stil, aber der Service und die Einrichtungen sind sehr umfassend. Zu den Annehmlichkeiten des Hotels gehören private heiße Quellen im Zimmer und unbegrenztes Hida-Rindfleisch. Eine Übernachtung und zwei Mahlzeiten sind auch eine gute Wahl für das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Es liegt direkt in den Bergen und es gibt nichts in der Umgebung.

Conveniently located 15min walk away from main bus terminal, they provide a regular shuttle service to and fro. Two public onsens with different water properties, one exclusive to hotel guests. High quality amenities and yukata provided in room, expect no less from the Japanese. The largest souvenir gift shop in town is adjacent to it. They feature a local snack that was a favourite of the empress which she purchased on her own, makes for a good story and gift for family and friends. Would visit again and try the restaurants in house.

Great stay overall, one of their baths was under renovation when I visited, which is a bummer. This is one of the places where the facilities age like fine wine. You can feel that it's dated but extremely well maintained, which I appreciate a lot. Breakfast was also amazing, there were a ton of options. The place is great for families and couples wanting to relax for a night or two.
