We were greeted with warm hospitality by the owner Angela when we arrived to check into Franz Josef Oasis. The executive king suite room was clean, cosy and spacious. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas with warm blankets place for our comfort near the fireplace. The location of this place is also good as it 5 minutes drive to the town where we had a delicious dinner at Blue Ice Restaurant and Bar which was recommended to us by Angela. The service is excellent and I will definitely recommend this place to those who are travelling to Franz Josef !

Das Hotel ist groß in der Nähe von Fußgängern zum Bahnhof für Tranzalpine, Restaurant im Hotel bietet atemberaubendes Essen und Trinken, das Zimmer ist leicht grundlegende ohne Klimaanlage, aber es hat einen Fan und einen Heizungsschrank

Die Rezeption ist chinesisch, es gibt eine kostenpflichtige Waschküche, die Umgebung ist sehr gut, es liegt in einer Kleinstadt, es gibt eine Rasenfläche vor der Zimmertür und es gibt zwei Hocker, auf denen man sitzen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen kann Kümmere dich selbst um alles, die Bettdecke und die Kissen riechen, die Tankstelle ist im kleinen Ort, ein Restaurant + Bar gibt es 10 Gehminuten entfernt

It is alright, but not great - certainly it is worn around the edges. It is the first place I stayed in during my 3 week holiday with no fridge... So much for the by now warm riggers of beer I bought at breweries en route. The service was never with any kind of smile. The food in their restaurant was adequate and the beer was, to my taste, bland and unexciting. Staying here is not a disaster, but nor is it memorable. For the amount they must make (the room was not inexpensive) they could and should do better. But I guess it is a captive market in season, and ”just about good enough” is all they need to bother with.

1 für die Ausstattung, da das Bett zu weich war und die Dusche sehr schwach war und die Temperaturbewertung sehr schwierig war. Er brauchte einen Piloten, um die optimale Temperatur zu setzen. Der Kühlschrank funktionierte nicht. Der Temperaturmessknopf wurde gebrochen

Unsere Zimmer haben einen atemberaubenden Blick auf Franz Josef. Das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft hat keinen Aufzug, aber das Personal war bereit, mit unserem Gepäck zu helfen, wie wir im zweiten Stock waren. Das Frühstück war in einem Restaurant mit Blick ausgezeichnet. Sehr empfohlen.

Große Lage in Hokitika, direkt am Strand. Einige entspannte Lebensmittelplätze in der Nähe, Fat Pipi Pizza war wirklich gut und Triple B Burgers hatten sehr große, schöne Geschmack-Hamburger. Das Standard-Zimmer King war ok, nahe den Bildern, aber es schien, dass es absolut keine Klangbeständigkeit zwischen den Zimmern gab. Der Park war zu klein für die Größe des Hotels und die Autoräume waren zu klein, um leicht zu bekommen/auszukommen.

We had been advised by a relative that this hotel on the beach was worth staying at. We had a deluxe room up on the hill across the main road so we were not actually on the beach. However the view of the ocean was fantastic particularly in the stormy weather. Due to the weather we had to drive down to the restaurant for breakfast. Restaurant fully booked out by tour groups for dinner but the tavern about 1.5km down the road saw us right for a meal. The complex seemed to have several different standards of rooms and I think ours was the best.

Good location, near to train station, Woolworth and restaurants and cafes. They provide milk for coffee. Gave us suggestions on where to explore. Easy drive to Shanty Town and 30mins drive to Glow Worm Dell. However, bring your own toiletries like shampoo, conditioner and body wash - no holder to place them but on the floor. There were bugs flying in the room as the kitchen/toilet faces the garden. I had bites on my finger and a spot on my face. No power supply near the bed but on the kitchen area.

Die Lage war anständig für eine kleine Stadt, mit einem Mini-Mart in der Nähe und mehreren Mahlzeiten. Das Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Einer meiner Familienmitglieder war nicht sicher, wie man die Heizkappe nutzt, so dass sie es nicht ausnehmen, was es machte, als ob das Zimmer nicht verwendet wurde. Am nächsten Tag hat das Personal tatsächlich gefragt, ob wir in Ordnung waren, da sie besorgt waren, dass wir vielleicht einen Kältegriff erwischt haben, weil wir nicht die beheizte Schleife verwenden. Ich dachte, das war wirklich rücksichtsvoll.
