Ll3unnyThe staff I came came across were all very polite and had welcoming smiles, no matter at the reception desk or the restaurant on 20/F. I enjoyed my stay here, but it felt comparable to the 3 star hotels, just slightly better especially thanks to the fabulous breakfast and location of breakfast…If hotels have half stars, i would think it’s’more of a 3.5 star hotel instead of a 4. I have a few suggestions which the hotel can look into to improve in the future.
3 Things to improve on:
1) I picked this hotel because I read other reviews saying the hotel is connected to a bridge from the Okayama station. This is true but unfortunately there were no signs in the station to guide travellers unlike another hotel like Granvia. Google suggested that I look for the west exit which I did, but I ended up being at the ground level hence had to bring big suitcase all the stairs…then I spotted the bridge and ANA crowne plaza from the street
2) cleanliness can be improved. There’s a UCC drip coffee machine in the room. I don’t drink coffee, and the box for the drip coffee selection was refilled. However I spotted a used capsule on the floor near the wall. The bin was not blocking the view, so the cleaners could’ve easily spotted the rubbish if they had been a little more careful and looked under the table when they have to clear out the rubbish bin anyway.
3) I sent a message to the hotel via TRIP.com. The message wasn’t replied promptly, as in within a few hours. Ultimately it didn’t matter anymore, I arrived at the hotel before somebody managed to reply me. Maybe it’s the system that’s problematic which may have caused a lag? Or staff only look at mails/messages when not too busy at the front desk?

GGastnutzerExcellent hotel, especially for travelers arriving by train — the location directly connected to Okayama Station makes everything extremely convenient.
Rooms are spacious by Japanese standards, clean, and very comfortable. The staff was professional, polite, and efficient.
Breakfast was impressive with a wide selection and high quality products.
A perfect base for exploring Okayama and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again.

오카야마 시내와는 거리가 좀 있고, 구라시키역도 조금 거리가 있어서
지리적으로는 좋지 않지만 저렴한 가격에 잘 숙박했습니다.

Im 1. Stock ist ein Sitzbereich, ein Restaurant, ein Automatik-Dispenser, ein Massagestole.
Der 4. Stock verfügt über 2 Waschmaschinen (es gibt bereits eine Waschmedikation, keine Notwendigkeit), 2 Trockner, eine Verkaufsmaschine, ein Bierdistributor und ein Comic Bookshop.
Insgesamt, sehr beeindruckt und sehr gut.

BBee-bee-goNew beautiful hotel very close to the station (5 min walk) in a great location in the middle of restaurant and downtown area. The rooms are tiny so it’ll be just a place to sleep as you can hardly open a large suitcase, but the hotel has a nice lounge on the top floor. The room is super clean and has a fridge as well as a small electric kettle to make tea. This room had a full bathroom with a large bathtub but we preferred going to the big bathroom upstairs. When I stayed at a smaller room on another day, it only had a shower so it seems to differ by type of room. The breakfast set needs to be purchased separately but we thought it was worth it. The hot dish alternates between Western and Japanese style on a daily basis, and the buffet had all kinds of dishes including a very yummy Japanese style curry. Also, the lounge had a great terrace with an amazing view of the surrounding hills. In overall, it was a very pleasant and enjoyable stay to the extent we ended up extending our stay for a few days.

AANDREAS NUR JAHJAVia Inn Okayama was our 6th hotel on this journey, and its location honestly couldn’t have been better. Being directly connected to Okayama Station made everything very convenient — from getting around to grabbing daily necessities. There were even some supermarkets inside the station, which were super handy.
The lobby was on the 5th floor and already set the mood, with an amazing view overlooking the station and the city.
Our room was simple and comfortable, featuring a small double bed, a desk by the window, a chair, an air purifier, and a fairly new TV with YouTube and Netflix access — perfect for relaxing after a long day.
Space was a little tight when we opened our luggage, but it wasn’t a big issue. Even though the bathroom wasn’t very spacious, it still provided enough room to sit comfortably on the toilet, which we appreciated.
The real highlight was the view — an unblocked cityscape right from the room that made both mornings and nights extra special.
Convenient, comfortable, and memorable — Via Inn Okayama was a great stay right in the heart of the city.

FFL99Ich liebe die Lage, da sie direkt neben dem Hafen von Uno liegt. Das war super praktisch mit meinen zwei Koffern nach meiner Inseltour. Das Onsen mit den tollen Restaurants und Massageangeboten war einfach fantastisch! 🥰🍱
Nach dem Onsen und dem Abendessen konnte ich auf dem Rückweg zum Hotel immer noch die Sterne ✨ und das große Mond-Kunstwerk 🌙 vor dem geschlossenen Galeriegang sehen!
Ich hatte versehentlich den Mehrbettzimmer gebucht, aber er war überraschend ordentlich, sauber, geräumig und freundlich. Es gab alle Annehmlichkeiten und sogar eine offene Teebar mit verschiedenen Sorten! Einfach toll! 🥰
Das Frühstück wird im selben Restaurant wie das Abendessen serviert. Das Geschirr ist sehr schön gestaltet! Nächstes Mal würde ich versuchen, ein Zimmer mit Terrasse zu bekommen oder nebenan zu zelten!
Das Touristenzentrum und der Bahnhof sind gleich nebenan. Oder ich kann mir einfach ein Fahrrad mieten und die Gegend erkunden, um Udon-Nudeln und Kaffee zu finden ☕️… Wenn ich das nächste Mal im Hafen von Uno bin und mir der Aufenthalt im Hafen von Takamatsu zu langweilig wird, werde ich mir dort mehr Galerien und Inseln ansehen! Ich kann dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen, wenn ihr mit Familie und Freunden reist!! 🥰❤️🙌🏻 Einfach toll!!

홈홈런왕Die Lage ist etwas weit vom Bahnhof Okayama entfernt, aber gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Es bietet ein gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, da sowohl Frühstück als auch Abendessen angeboten werden. Außerdem hat das öffentliche Männerbad wieder geöffnet, sodass es ein guter Ort ist, um sich von der Müdigkeit des Tages zu erholen. Das Zimmer ist geräumig und ich denke, dass ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Okayama in diesem Hotel übernachten werde.

Mmeow_littlecatThis was my second time staying at Abest Grande Hotel, and once again, the experience was excellent. The service is extremely good — all staff are very polite, welcoming, and always greet guests with a genuine smile.
We were offered a welcome drink upon arrival, which was a very nice touch. The staff were also very helpful in calling a restaurant on our behalf to assist with making a reservation, which we truly appreciated.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, providing a relaxing environment after a long day. The location is also very convenient, with easy access to nearby transportation, restaurants, and shopping areas, making it a great base for exploring the city.
Overall, the hospitality made us feel very comfortable and well taken care of throughout the stay. I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit.
