Here’s a balanced, honest, and respectful review of Aryaduta Pekanbaru, focusing on your family experience and the issues you faced: ⸻ ⭐ Family Stay Review: Aryaduta Pekanbaru We recently stayed at Aryaduta Pekanbaru for a family trip, and while the hotel has a good location and a well-known brand, our experience was below expectations. 👥 Front Desk Experience The check-in process was disappointing. The front staff were not friendly, and there was very little warmth or hospitality. Even though our room was already ready, they were very strict about only allowing check-in after 3pm, which made things inconvenient—especially for families travelling with children or elderly. 🏨 Room Condition The hotel is quite old, and it shows. • The room had a noticeable old smell when we entered. • The toilet wasn’t very clean, and water leaked out into the room area, which was uncomfortable and unsafe for kids. • Overall, the upkeep and cleanliness were not at the standard we expected. 🏊 Facilities We went to the pool area but found no staff at the pool counter, which made it difficult to request towels or assistance. The pool area itself is decent, but the lack of staff presence made it feel unmanaged. 📍 Location The hotel is in a convenient central area, close to malls and food outlets, which is the main positive point. ⸻ ⭐ Overall Rating: 2.8/5 Aryaduta Pekanbaru has potential because of its location and brand, but the hospitality, cleanliness, and maintenance need significant improvement. For families, the strict check-in policy, room condition, and lack of staff attention made the stay less comfortable than expected. This review reflects our genuine experience, and we hope it helps the hotel improve and guides other travellers planning their stay.

First of all, the room door cant be opened using the access card after every time I go out, and the staff said its need to be updated everytime or the card not to be placed in hot area. What is this?? So unprofessional. What if any emergency?? We need to go down again to the treception and get updated and come up again? And in the bathroom the sink water was not clean and in the shower area, the water was not going smoothly and its clogged, need to wait 15-20 minutes to use the shower area again. Please take action on the cleanliness and the access card service.

Good: nice beds and good breakfast Bad: shower not hot, people smoked in the lobby, even during breakfast, disgusting

We had an amazing stay in the hotel. The service of DAFAM was amazing. They were very accommodating and helped us greatly. The rooms are spacious and clean in the non smoking area. Shower water was warm, but not hot. The breakfast buffet is good! With amazing coffee

The location is very strategic, with comfortable and well-maintained accommodation. The room was very clean, and the staff gave us a warm and friendly welcome. Thank you for the great hospitality 😊

the room size is good, just nice for 2 of us.the bed was comfort and soft.the bathroom hot water not so good, took long time to get hot but still not so hot as we expected.there was no labelling of whether it is shampoo or bath soap.we requested iron but never come. the location was at city centre but not noisy as it was not in front of main street.you can go anywhere from the hotel especially STC Ramayana. the breakfast was not as we expected, too basic as what Cititel names should have.but the dining area was clean and spacious. the lobby was small and not enough sofa to seat while waiting for check-in,please improve on this!. the motorcycle parking is good but please put spotlight to make it brighter. overall was okey for us as we only spend time at hotel during sleep as day we outside at Pekanbaru city.

Overall, the hotel in Pekanbaru is quite cheap and offers good value for money. The room itself was comfortable and generally well maintained. The only downside I noticed was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom, which might be due to the cleaning not being done thoroughly or possibly an issue with the plumbing Breakfast was fairly standard, nothing fancy, but still decent and enjoyable. One highlight was the reception staf… they were very accommodating, friendly, and helpful throughout the stay, which made a positive difference. Another convenience is the location: right next to the hotel there is an Indomaret and a coffee shop, making it easy to grab daily necessities or a quick drink. However, you should be careful when crossing the road in front of the hotel, as traffic can be quite busy
