In der Stirling Universität, die eine schöne und ruhige Umgebung ist, aber es erfordert Reisen in das Stadtzentrum. Es gibt kein Restaurant, das zum Abendessen öffnet, außer im Hotel.
Das ursprüngliche Zimmer im Erdgeschoss, das uns gegeben wurde, hat einen starken Geruch, der nach der Reinigung durch das Hausbetreuungsteam nicht verschwand. Die Rezeption verweigerte ursprünglich, das Zimmer zu ändern. Erst nachdem wir darauf bestanden, wurden wir auf der ersten Etage ein anderes Zimmer gegeben, aber es verschwendete uns fast 1.5 Stunde in der Wartezeit.
Andernfalls ist alles sehr gut, einschließlich des ausgezeichneten Frühstücks.

Das Hotel ist ein sehr altes Gebäude, sehr nahe am Schloss, die Zimmeranlagen sind etwas alt, aber auch komplett, das Zimmer ist groß, das Hotel ist sehr bequem, wo immer es geht! Sehr gutes Aufenthaltserlebnis

We were treated like royalty at the Hotel Colessio. The Bruce Suite was a perfect and luxurious place to spend my memorable birthday night. The welcoming staff were attentive, sweet, and helpful. It was so convenient to walk to sites we wished to tour. The bed and amenities led us to a good night's sleep and we savored the delicious breakfast. We have wonderful memories of Hotel Colessio!

Lovely hotel and delicious food. We loved the location and the pool area and facilities. Only issue we had was the heat. It was particularly mild for November and the staff weren’t able to adjust the temperature. We were given a dusty and broken fan to combat the heat but sadly no one came forward with an apology when we brought it to staff that we had to leave the window open wide all night to try combat the heat. I know it wasn’t the individuals fault but good customer service would apologise to the customer and none of the 4 staff we spoke to about it offered an apology and they seemed disgruntled about it too.

In der Nähe gibt es einen Supermarkt, eine Tankstelle, kostenlose Parkplätze, viele Parkplätze, sehr bequem. Zur Stirling-Castle sind sehr nahe und 10 Minuten Fahrt. Wir sind am Flughafen Glasgow früher angekommen, um 11 Uhr sind im Hotel, aber wir können nicht vorzeitig bleiben, Gepäckschrank kann zuerst die Rezeption platzieren. Ich hatte zehn Stunden Flugzeug gefahren und wollte zum Hotel gehen und ein Bett schlafen und zum Mittagessen gehen und spielen, aber das Hotel wollte uns nicht frühzeitig aufhalten.

Das Hotel ist ein altes Gebäude, von der Rezeption zum Zimmer ist eine Treppe, das kleine Zimmer ist noch sauber, das Frühstück heißt es, es ist sehr lecker und lecker.
Da kennen sie ein Paar aus Nordirland, die sehr gut reden und Kontakte austauschen.

The staff are quite friendly and nice.
The location is... a bit hard to say. If you are a nature lover, u probably enjoy the walk in the neighborhood. There're hills and nice houses nearby. Around 5 min walk from the hotel, there's a nice track called Strathblane Railway Path.
But if you want to get to the city centre, and you can't drive, you can only get there by a bus which is 50 min ride (note that it's 1 to 2 hour frequency). I waited for the bus at the buschanan bus station on Saturday at 7pm (it's scheduled at 7:10pm) and the bus went missing. I asked staff at the bus station and they told me to find the help desk but it was closed and the hotline was also shut down. I waited for the next bus at 8:35pm and luckily it did arrive.
So make sure you check the bus schedule if you are going for a tour/taking train in the city centre!!!

The apartment size was huge with a balcony and came with an individual sauna, which we have enjoyed very much. The hotel landscape was spectacular and it’s located right opposite of loch Ard, the view was breathtaking. As part of our stay we had complimentary access to the gym/spa facilities, which again we enjoyed a lot.
The only downside is the cleanliness of the apartment, some of our pillows had stains on them, one of the bedroom had a very strong mouldy odor, and the furniture is generally quite old - that being said, many of the previous reviews had commented on this already so we were mentally prepared before booking and there were no other nasty surprises.

JJonathanNice pub and rooms, ideal stopping off point travelling up north near Stirling. The restaurant is good, with reasonably priced classic pub food and selection of beers. Unfortunately we left too early to have the full Scottish breakfast which was included.
