The location is great, just a ten min walk from the beach, or a five min walk to get a ten min bus to Boscombe or Bournemouth (although these only go every half hour, seem to always be late and stop running by 6.30pm so plan carefully, or take a stress free taxi ride instead - just £6 to Boscombe).  The hotel is clean and tidy, but the reception staff I met were sullen and unhappy to help, the beds we had were awful (feel every spring, I padded it with two quilts to be able to sleep, luckily it was very hot so we didn’t need them) and unfortunately our window was broken so I couldn’t shut the noise of people entering/leaving the hotel directly below the window out. However, the man sent to try to fix the window was extremely polite and helpful, and respectful of my request to be really quiet and softly spoken around my autistic son who was trying to get to sleep. And he fixed the window.  Luckily we were only staying for one night, so despite the painful bed, I would come back for another cheap, brief stay.

Ich habe vor kurzem vom 25. bis 26. April im The Bath Hotel Beaumont geblieben, wo wir zwei Standardzimmer mit Fenstern reserviert hatten. Leider war die Erfahrung ziemlich uneinheitlich. Einer der Zimmer war sehr gut, sauber und komfortabel. Allerdings war das zweite Zimmer extrem enttäuschend und in schlechtem Zustand. Es war deutlich unter den Erwartungen, vor allem da beide Zimmer unter der gleichen Kategorie gebucht wurden. Ich würde gern empfehlen, die kleineren Standardzimmer zu vermeiden, da die Qualität sich anscheinend sehr ändert. Auf einer positiven Bemerkung ist die Lage des Hotels ausgezeichnet und sehr bequem. Die Spa- und Schwimmbadeinrichtungen sind ebenfalls gut, aber es ist klar zu bemerken, dass diese zu einem zusätzlichen Kosten pro Person kommen, die zum Zeitpunkt der Buchung nicht transparent mitgeteilt werden. Parkplatz ist verfügbar, aber kostet etwa £25 pro Tag. Leider war der mit diesem verbundene Service sehr schlecht. Unser Auto war unter einem Baum geparkt und wurde in Vogelabfällen abgedeckt. Als wir diese Besorgnis erhoben, waren die Mitarbeiter hilflos und erklärten, sie hätten nicht die Macht, sie zu reinigen. Stattdessen wurden wir Reinigungsmittel und erwartet, dass wir das Auto selbst zu reinigen, was angesichts des Preises sehr unprofessionell ist. Zusätzlich war der Väterservice unzuverlässig. Mehrfach hatten wir 15–20 Minuten für unser Auto zu warten, und zweimal haben wir es endlich selbst zurückgeholt, nachdem wir es zu warten gesagt wurden. Das besiegt den Zweck eines zahlbaren Väterservice. Das Personal, insbesondere an der Rezeption, traf sich als hart und unprofessionell, vor allem bei der Bearbeitung von Beschwerden. Für ein Hotel dieser Standard war das Fehlen eines grundlegenden Services, einschließlich Raumservice oder effizienter Anrufservice, überraschend. Insgesamt, während die Lage und einige Einrichtungen gut sind, hat die Uneinheitlichkeit in der Zimmerqualität und schlechter Kundenservice unseren Aufenthalt erheblich beeinflusst. Ich würde dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen, es sei denn, Verbesserungen werden vorgenommen.

Great location, only 10 minutes walk from Bournemouth train station. I only stayed one night for a meeting I had the next day. All member of staff were very friendly ,courteous and polite! The property shows its age but the room are spacious when compared with other three star hotels like Travelodge. Its off the main road and very quiet in the night. I've opted in for breakfast, however, to be totally honest for the cost of £14 I expected to see more options - its very basic. However, all in all I had a good experience and will visit again!

Fabelhafte Lage für Einkaufsmöglichkeiten, Strand und Bournemouth International Centre. Schönes Personal, gut eingerichtete saubere und komfortable Zimmer. Wird dieses Hotel sicher wieder benutzen! .

Booked this hotel as I stayed before in some Ibis hotels. When came to check in the person from reception asked us to wait until he checks the room.( it was around 4pm)? I assume room was meant to be checked before. Took him about 10 minutes or so. Took the keys room was nice, comfy, minimalistic If i can say so.(i would have a mini fridge). In about 20 minutes while we weregeting ready to go out AC stared to lick quite badly. When went downstairs told the same person at the reception he only nodded ( I mentioned as its for the interest of the hotel as everything is geting wet, floor, wall). After we came back, enetered the room was quite hot as the AC was off. Couldn't turn on, tried to contact reception through the WhatsApp number that is offered in the room ( saying phones are such a 1980's), no one answered after about half an hour tried to call the same number, again no answer. Tried to call the hotel, went through the AI. Went downstairs in the end to ask how to turn on the AC. Person at the reception said it is off from them and he can turn it on for me, which he did. After about 1 hour i had to go downstairs back to ask to turn it off as the water dripping was getting on my nerves and the AC could not be turned down either from the room. At least I was given a fan that helped to solve the issue, and I was told to complain in the morning if I need. Another thing I want to mention is that therr is no ice in the hotel, as when i went downstairs and asked for it been told they dont have any, neither fridge is available in the room. So my fathers treat away was unfortunately ruined by the hospitality of the hotel. At least weather was good.

Schönes Hotel, nur die Frage ist die oberen Stockräume sind sehr warm und es gibt keine Klimaanlage

Double sea view room with balcony. Spacious bedroom with nice seating area. Clean and in good decorative order. Comfy bed, quality linen. Wonderful, original metal-framed window and French door opening out onto huge balcony. Unfortunately, the sea view tuned out to be when looking left from the end of the balcony and not from the actual bedroom. Kettle needed descaling. Bathroom well appointed, nice towels and quality Elemis toiletries, but would benefit from a really thorough deep clean and a lick of paint. Absolutely fabulous public rooms, not ‘dated’, as some reviews suggest, but furniture and fixtures appropriately in keeping with the style and period of the building. Wonderful! Beautiful outdoor pool area and indoor spa. Lots of outdoor seating areas. Extensive woodland to the rear of the hotel. Just a few minutes walk to Knoll Beach, through the hotel’s extensive grounds (which includes tennis courts and a golf course) just over the road. Absolutely no information provided about any of these brilliant amenities, or indeed anything at all, in our bedroom. Also, no information about Wi-Fi, no information about breakfast times, no information about how to even contact Reception on the telephone provided in the room … The food at the evening meal was exceptional but was let down by the very slow service as staff focused on setting tables for the following day’s breakfast - which turned out to be so disappointing that it was hard to believe that both meals had originated from the same kitchen.

Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

Location was excellent, hotel room, lobby and pool were very clean and comfortable, room was spacious, bright, with comfortable beds, Bathroom was good . POOL was very good and nice to have this in hotel. Breakfast was excellent with vast variety of different options, we enjoyed this .

Wir waren als Paar hier und hatten gemischte Erfahrungen. Das Hotel hat seinen Charme, aber auch ein paar Nachteile. Zimmer & Ausstattung: Die Zimmer waren recht klein und wirkten beengt, auch die Toilette war sehr eng, was die Toilette betrifft. Die Ausstattung war einfach – nur Seife und ein kombiniertes Haar- und Duschgel. Überraschenderweise gab es weder Handwaschmittel noch Kühlschrank und keinen Haartrockner im Zimmer. Positiv war, dass das Zimmer sauber war und wir keine Probleme mit der Hygiene hatten. Personal & Service: Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, was den Aufenthalt angenehmer machte. Einrichtungen & Atmosphäre: Der Pool war wunderschön und der Blick vom Poolrand direkt aufs Meer war fantastisch. Der Loungebereich bot denselben schönen Ausblick – ein toller Ort zum Entspannen am Abend. Es gab sogar eine kleine Schmuckecke im Hotel. Vorsicht – Sie könnten am Ende einen Ring oder eine Halskette kaufen, wenn Ihr Partner stöbert! Sonstige Hinweise: Der Aufzug war wahrscheinlich der älteste, den ich je benutzt habe – ich fühlte mich wie in den 90ern, was dem Ort einen besonderen Charakter verlieh. Essen: Das englische Frühstück war wirklich sehr gut – eines der Highlights unseres Aufenthalts. Gesamtwert: Die Preise waren angemessen, aber für ein besseres Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis wäre es toll gewesen, wenn die Zimmer mit grundlegenden Annehmlichkeiten wie Kühlschrank, Handwaschmittel und Haartrockner ausgestattet wären.
