A very pleasant stay at Scarman as part of a work development event. The room was clean, warm and spacious. The food at the venue was good and there was a good selection. I would happily stay there again.

I stayed at the Arden for the UK Games Expo. Despite being rather pricey, it's very convenient to get to the NEC and Resorts World (10-15 minute walk). The leisure centre staff seemed unprofessional, but the receptionist and restaurant/bar staff seemed nice and friendly enough. Room was nearly spotless, aside from behind the TV that were slightly dusty. Our room didn't have a TV remote but a quick call to reception fixed that, they were very responsive. It was a nice comfortable room. I will say the food for dinner is exceptional and highly recommend it!

Very convenient for early morning fl8ghts to stay overnight in a comfortable bed with clean modern facilities. Loved the bathroom! Greeted nicely. The restaurant served tasty basics meals. Both bar and coffee drinks. Didn't like the removal of menus and oth8er table items whilst I was eating. I know I was a late customer. But please, after a long travelling day, I just needed some relaxing enjoyment of dinner and coffee.

Reasonable room rates, room clean , water hot in bath/shower-food was extremely tasty, and excellent value for money for both evening meal and breakfast. Weather was hot and only improvement would have been to keep complimentary water/juice in foyer topped up as no cool water or drinks available in room.

Location is excellent surrounded by trees and away from crowded and noisy areas. The receptionist was very professional and helpful regarding a mistake in my booking as my booking app didn't convey the complete details of my booking. They didn't have any idea that I have a 12 year old child added to my booking and also didn't get the information that I needed 2 adjacent rooms, but they managed to sort it out. Breakfast was great. There was no fridge in the room despite saying there was one during booking, but I didn't need it, so I ignored it. The worst part was the pool staff. They were rude and irogant. Overall, my family and I enjoyed our stay and will definitely go there again if we visit Birmingham again.

Really helpful staff. Lovely clean community areas & dining section - good breakfast choices. Fabulous room. Parking needs paying for. MUST take a payment card as proof even if prepaid (bit strange but there you go) if I was solo, I had only cash & my phone and couldn't prove any card details so would have been an issue. Outside of that, great nights sleep and recommend.

Bei der Ankunft wurde uns gebeten, 10 £ für Parkplätze zu zahlen, was seltsam erscheint. Ich könnte verstehen, wenn Sie nicht ein Gast waren, aber wenn Sie bleiben, verstehe ich nicht, warum Sie zahlen müssen. Die Rezeption war einfach und bequem. Das Zimmer war wie erwartet. Sauber und komfortabel. Ich musste um zusätzliche Teebeutel, Milchzucker als nur ein paar im Zimmer bitten. Gut geschlafen. Kein Lärm. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnete Auswahl und nicht fette.

We had a fantastic stay overnight. fabulous staff willing to help very caring and understanding very helpful all the time we was there. breakfast was amazing. I’m very wonderfully presented those everything you wanted and all nicely displayed and absolutely wonderfully clean and the staff was great so Wood come back thank you. Thank you for everything bye-bye.

Nice hotel. Booked the superior king room. Nice room with some issues. The ceiling is quite low in the bathroom so when you’re standing in the bathtub, my head was quite close to the ceiling. I’m around 6 ft 2. The shower itself is quite good. There was a crack on the wall in the shower which needs to be fixed. Maybe installing a walk in shower would be better. The room was otherwise clean and spacious. They use two beds and stick it together to make one king size bed. Uncomfortable when sleeping as the beds tended to separate slightly when sleeping so you’re slightly sinking in the middle. They should have made this clearer. It would be much better if they have a proper king size bed. The view was really nice from the room. Breakfast was extra and it was very good. It’s a buffet style breakfast. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Although I did t use it, the spa facilities were included in the price which is nice. Lots of parking available and safe. The hotel close the gates at midnight but you can press the buzzer and they’ll let you in. The hotel itself is a listed building so no lifts, but you can probably ask for help if with bags. Hotel itself is beautiful. Would I visit again? Yes

Eine Gruppe von Freunden kamen zusammen für eine Drachenboot-Rennen-Event in Edgbaston und kam als Rowing Club. Das Hotelpersonal und der Gesamtaufenthalt war sehr angenehm. Es hat es wirklich genossen, und wird wieder kommen, da es sich um eine jährliche Veranstaltung handelt.
