Awesome Aufenthalt im besten Hotel in Mindo. Danke Marco und Team für den hervorragenden Service, immer schnell zu beantworten jede Anfrage zu WhatsApp auch vor meiner Ankunft. Er arrangierte auch einen Fahrer, mich nach/von Quito zu holen, der in einer 4-Tür 4wd kam, aber trotz begrenzter Englisch, war wirklich nett und fahren sicher. Lage ist bequem, da sie immer können für ein Taxi, das in Minuten ankommt und nach der Stadt gehen ist $3. Die Vogelwache war gut im Hotel, ich sah 20 Arten in 2 Tagen mit 2 Toucan-Arten, Bronze-Flügel-Parrot und crestete Guan besonders für mich erinnerlich, aber Hummingbirds sind wenige. Der Zimmerbalkon ist sehr produktiv, aber die Hauptsalon oben hat eine andere Vielzahl von Vögeln. Ich blieb in der Luxuskabine, die auf einem gelockeren und etwas höheren Bereich als die Deluxe-Kabine ist. In der Regel sehr ruhig, außer bei seltsamen Momenten, wo Laut Musik für ein paar Songs in der Tageszeit und auch aus irgendeinem Grund um 9 Uhr die Hundeschnecke für 5-10 min. hören kann. Aber insgesamt, sehr entspannt und ruhig bleiben und definitiv empfohlen, hier zu bleiben. Der traurigste Teil war nicht länger bleiben.

It’s by far the cleanest hotel in all of Ecuador—absolutely spotless in every corner. The entire property is beautifully maintained, quiet, and filled with elegant touches that make it feel both luxurious and welcoming. The staff were outstanding—warm, attentive, and truly professional. They offered excellent local recommendations and always treated me with kindness and care. The location is ideal—tucked in a peaceful part of La Mariscal, just a short walk from Plaza Foch and some of Quito’s best restaurants and shops. My room was quiet, stylish, and very comfortable, with a serene garden view that made me feel instantly relaxed. Breakfast each morning was fresh, generous, and thoughtfully prepared. The entire experience felt safe, polished, and perfectly cared for. If you’re looking for elegance, cleanliness, and world-class service, Hotel Villa Lafayette is simply the best choice in Ecuador. I would return in a heartbeat!

Das Frühstück war sehr gut, der Tisch war sehr einfach und wurde ständig beschädigt, der Toilettensitz war beschädigt, ebenso wie die Jalousien.

Very higj standard hotel next to Quito airport. You need a shuttle to get to the hotel from the airport but the hotel runs a shuttle service round the clock. The staff were very professional and the facilities were great. Wish we could have stayed longer :)

Love this hotel! Near the airport. Great food. Always friendly. If you’re overnighting in Quito this is the airport you want to stay at.

The facilities at this hotel are somewhat outdated, and the decor feels a bit old-fashioned. It would be great to see some modernization in these areas. That said, the view from the upper floors is fantastic and definitely a highlight of the stay. Additionally, the breakfast was quite good, with a decent variety and tasty options. Overall, the experience was pleasant, but upgrading the facilities and decor would significantly improve the stay.

Das Hotel ist großartig, das Deluxe-Zimmer ist geräumig und verfügt über ein Wohnzimmer, das zum Arbeiten genutzt werden kann. Das Bett ist sehr groß, bietet Platz für 3 bis 4 Personen und ist mäßig weich und hart, sehr bequem. Das Frühstück im Hotel war unvorstellbar. Es gab eine automatische Kaffeemaschine, die zehn Sorten edlen Kaffee zubereiten konnte. Der Saft ist frisch gepresster Orangensaft. Sie geben frische Orangen in den Entsafter und trinken sie direkt nach dem Auspressen.

Good customer service. My single occupancy room wasn't huge, but it was big wrought and had a big windows that could open for fresh air. HOT WATER in the sinks and showers (thank heavens!). The wifi was slow, but it worked well enough. The front desk is 24/7. The location is also good with many shops, restaurants, grocery stores, public transport stops, ATMs, and more around. I'd stay here again.

Das Hotel ist gut, Kedo ist im Allgemeinen nicht entwickelt, dieses Hotel ist immer noch sehr zu empfehlen, in der Stadt, das Zimmer ist sehr gut sauber, der Geschäftsausflug ist relativ hoch

Das Personal war sehr angenehm n hilfreich, insbesondere das Front Office n im Restaurant. Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten dort auch Abendessen und hatten hochwertiges Essen. Sie können nicht um eine bessere Lage bitten. Unser Zimmer war hervorragend, geräumig mit einem wunderschönen Balkon. Danke für die Mitarbeiter, dass unser Aufenthalt ein erinnerebar gemacht wurde.
