GGastnutzerDer Hotelservice war sehr gut, allerdings gab es beim Frühstück Fliegen. Das Frühstück selbst war jedoch ausgezeichnet, sauber und hygienisch. Man konnte in der Küche Wasserflaschen kaufen. Die Zimmer waren geräumig und hell, und man half uns mit dem Gepäck.

GGastnutzerDelicious Indonesian Javanese food specially created by the host, May, as well as the level of dedicated service is the highlight of this hotel.
The menu food sounds unappealing, but all 7 lunch and dinners were so good.
You have to try the chicken satay, which is soft and has white clean meat.
The tuna is melted and panini is so fresh.
The spaghetti cakalang is her created recipe of smoked fish and spaghetti. Her tofu and Tempe must not be missed!
Her tempong chicken is yummy and fresh! Feels like it's directly from the farm.
Nasi goreng must not be missed!
Papayas seem to be in the season.
Fried bananas covered in coconut flakes are not to be missed!
In this hotel, don't expect luxury cleanliness because there are a lot of insects (bees, butterflies, moths, grasshopper, flies), spiders, millipedes, lizards, even a gecko. If you want to stay in this rustic resort you have to be okay with them.
I didn't like the insects stuff in the room but the hosts immediately sent their staff to deal with them. Staff are friendly just be patient with them because not all speak English.
May was a super host, who gave ALL sorts of ideas on where to go, and how to go, and gives you contacts and numbers and details. Ibnu makes the best dirty latte in Banyuwangi, most probably. The hosts are very nice and go out of the way to make their guests welcome. They even dropped us at a nearby tour site, and also gave us a short walk to the beach nearby.
This level of service is almost unbeatable. Staff are always ready and welcome to greet and smile at you.
I think the Indonesian and Javanese meals are better than the breakfast menu.
Breakfast pancake and American breakfast normal only.
They generously dropped us off at Bangsring Underwater which was 3-5 mins away, which MUST NOT BE MISSED for snorkelling beginners! (But first check out if the season is good for snorkelling)
If you stay here, be prepared there's not much in the area. And not much air-conditioned cafes or restaurant or shops nearby too.
The family room has a breathtaking view of the mountains but because of the attic like structure, is prone to insects and lizards and stuff. It had a resident gecko.
The deluxe suite room had a flat ceiling so lesser insects! + huge verandah for drying your clothes + pink bougainvillea.
There are corn fields beside the hotel.
They send food to your room if you don't want to eat in the restaurant which also has a amazing view. Restaurant has rustic vibes with antique candelabras
(+ spiders).

AAimaaaanWe stayed at Grand Mercure Malang Mirama for our honeymoon for 3 nights and 4 days, and honestly, it was one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. My wife absolutely loved everything about this hotel, and so did I.
From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was exceptional. We were welcomed by Wike from the front office, and she truly made our stay extra special. She was always smiling, respectful, kind, and very helpful throughout our stay. She even offered us free activities and vouchers, which was such a nice touch. The biggest surprise was that we got upgraded to the Executive Suite, the highest room category in the hotel. Huge thanks to Wike for making our honeymoon unforgettable!
The room itself was unbelievable. Beautiful views, a huge living room, separate bedroom, and an amazing bathroom with a bathtub overlooking the view. Everything felt luxurious and very comfortable. Since it was our honeymoon, the room was also beautifully decorated and we were welcomed with a fruit basket, which made us feel really special.
Breakfast was another highlight. The variety was insane so many options that we honestly didn’t know what to choose. Everything we tried was delicious.
One thing that really stood out was the staff. I’ve traveled quite a lot, but the service here felt different. Every single staff member we met smiled, greeted us warmly, checked if everything was okay, and helped immediately whenever needed. You can really feel the genuine hospitality here.
We also received a complimentary photoshoot from the hotel, which was such a lovely experience. The photographer was great, and we even got a printed photo in a frame to take home as a memory.
The only disappointing part during our stay was the Teppanyaki experience at the Japanese restaurant. Unfortunately, it did not meet our expectations at all. The chef only cooked in front of us without any interaction or entertainment, and when I tried making conversation, she seemed annoyed. Considering how expensive it was, it honestly felt very underwhelming. I personally wouldn’t recommend the Teppanyaki experience there.
Other than that, everything was truly amazing. Even though I don’t remember everyone’s names, thank you to every single staff member who made our honeymoon so memorable. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely come back again.

GGastnutzerÜbernachtet auf einer Durchreise. Schnelles Einchecken und Auschecken. Die Zimmer sind in Ordnung, die Klimaanlage ist kalt, der Pool ist groß.
Ein kleiner Input für die Plätze vor dem FO, tut mir leid, es riecht ein bisschen nach Socken und zum Frühstück gibt es meiner Meinung nach nicht genug Abwechslung an Proteinen. Bei der Eierecke dauerte es auch sehr lange, bis das Frühstück fertig war und ich wurde 4 Mal gefragt, ob es nicht gemacht sei, sondern stattdessen gefragt, was ich vorher bestellt hatte. Vielleicht kann man es bei Vollbelegung zunächst mit Omelettes und Sunny Side Up eindecken, damit die Gäste nicht lange warten und immer wieder Fragen stellen müssen, bis sie schließlich keine Lust mehr auf Frühstück haben.

GGuest UserSuper freundliches Personal. Wir blieben in diesem Hotel nach einem Nachtbesuch an den Ijen. Dadurch waren wir viel früher als die genannte 14:00 (Check-in-Zeit) beim Hotel. Wir haben uns gedacht und alles getan, um uns so schnell wie möglich Zugang zu dem Zimmer zu gewähren.
Für uns war die Lage gut, weil wir durch wollten zu Bali reisen. ‘S Abend ist in der Umgebung nur nicht viel mehr zu tun. Dafür müssen Sie wirklich in Banyuwangi sein.
Das Zimmer war sehr groß und schön. Auch das Frühstück ist gut und enorm erweitert. Es kann nicht anders sagen, dass wir eine nette Nacht hatten.

Der Service war überall reibungslos. Besonderes Dank an Joan für die effiziente und professionelle Bearbeitung von Ein- und Auscheckung. Schnell, klar und schwach.
Die Lage ist sehr bequem mit einfachen Zugang zu nahe gelegenen Einrichtungen und Transport. Wir hatten ein Essen in Nishimura ist angemessen nicht über dem Top, sondern zuverlässig und gut verwaltet.
Insgesamt ist ein vertrauenswürdiges Hotel, das konsequent abstellt. Wird wieder zurück.

GGastnutzerEin guter Ort für einen kurzen Zwischenstopp, da man die meiste Zeit für Ausflüge zu Attraktionen wie Sewu und Bromo verbringt, die frühes Aufstehen und spätes Zurückkommen erfordern. Die Lage des Hotels ist ausgezeichnet, vermutlich direkt im Zentrum von Malang, was Restaurants und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sehr zugänglich macht. Die Ausstattung war eher mittelmäßig, man sollte hier keine hohen Erwartungen haben. Das Personal war jedoch recht hilfsbereit; man muss nur seine Wünsche äußern. Einen Föhn muss man an der Rezeption erfragen, und der hatte dann auch kaum Power – total unbrauchbar!
