It was an impressive and pleasant stay. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We had a family room, which was perfect for our trip, very spacious and with great view. The bed mattress is one of the best in all my experience. I had great sleep during the stay. The cleanliness of the room was ok. The location is very convenient if you are driving - 20 mins drive to the walking trails and 10 mons drive to centre of Sheffiled. David from the restaurant provided highly professional and helpful service for our breakfast. All in all, we would consider staying at this hotel again if we visit this area again.

We were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.

One day of work related visit. Very decent hotel in the heart of Sheffield with great amenities and good value for the price. Staff were very friendly and helpful, granted a complimentary late check-out with no fuss. Breakfast was really great, apart from not serving hot chocolate drink. Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Sheffield. Highly recommended

Bar staff could make more of an helpful but good venue for business and weddings.

Wir blieben im März 2024 hatte eine gute Erfahrung damals, aber dieser Besuch letztes Wochenende am 11. Mai 24 war sehr enttäuschend wir fanden das Zimmer schmutzig mit Insekten schwanken unter dem Bett, wir baten um das Zimmer, das wir getan haben, aber fanden das gleiche Problem, das ich er zeigte sich an den Nachtrezeptor, er kam mit einem 3rd Zimmer sauber glücklich um Mitternacht, jetzt sehr müde wir schliefen gut und sprach zu der Rezeption bei der Abschaum, der uns ein komplimentäres Frühstück, das war schön, aber nicht machen Sie wollen wieder zurück Wenn die Zimmer Ihnen so schmutzig vorgestellt werden, bitte sehen Sie Fotos Ich habe dem Hotelmanager am 13. Mai geschrieben, aber noch haben Sie keine Antwort erhalten

Gute Lage und gutes und aufmerksames Personal. War nicht glücklich, da das Zimmer 2 Einzelbetten anstelle von 1 Doppelbett hatte. Ich bat das Personal um wechseln, aber das Hotel war voll. Außer, dass alles perfekt war

Das Hotel ist schön und ruhig. Es war eine Pause für mich und meine Frau, als meine Mutter vor 10 Tagen verbrachte und wir wollten eine Pause. Schönes großes Zimmer schäme kein Bad, nur ein Problem waren wir nahe der Personalausfahrt und hörte Lärm bis spät und sehr früh am Morgen. Ich habe bei der Rezeption gebeten und wir haben eine Rabattgebühr nächstes Mal, wenn wir bleiben. Alles ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich.
