Had a good welcoming. Front desk employees work fast and professionally. My room was on the 7th floor and I had a nice city view. Rooms are clean and all the necessary amenities are provided. Unfortunately there was no available time in the spa in the morning.

Antique hotel in a very good location close to the beach however no nothing is guaranteed by the hotel. There is no option to book parking (first come first serve basis), they can’t guarantee a good view to the sea even through you book a sea view room (you can end up to the side of the hotel which allows you a glimpse to the sea and that’s not what you really want and pay for). When trying to call the hotel goes to a customer service desk then they transfer you to the main reception which ends up with a dropped call several times considering the call is being charged per minute (we’re not in the 80’s, take some ownership for this please), if you finally get through they won’t be able to reserve a parking space at the hotel and guide you to park elsewhere (this you can literally do yourself without the hassle and waste of time). None of these (parking and room selection) are communicated precisely until you check in which in essence makes no sense when you want to plan your stay ahead. Overall the staff is kind and friendly so no improvement needed here, the opportunity stands for the hotel management who implement procedures and policies. The rooms have a heavy smell due to the age of the building, there is a brochure that explains refurbishment undergoing in that sense. Wifi - you can have daily access if you pay for wifi (I believe it was £7/24 hours) , this is also a thumbs down nowadays (tips: if you want to charge for wifi include this in the overall price fees so people don’t obviously pick on this or just offer it with the stay like a respectable business - a coffee shop where you spend £3 for a coffee offers it for free on a daily basis, think about it). Looking at breakfast - there is full English or cereal, oats and fruit. The terrace looks pretty nice, well looked after, a nice oasis to relax your senses listening to the sea waves. There is a chess board on a bigger scale just on the terrace, this if a nice setup and addition to the hotel vibe. Stunning hotel, great location. Everything was fantastic. Small thing is room 109 has a small frosted window with no view. When opening it opens to a dirty mucky roof. We did not leave it open as vermin might enter the room. We also mentioned it was a 40th bday but no extras not even a note.

We had a 3 day stay at the Harbour Hotel in Christchurch. We ate dinner there twice - once at ”The Upper Deck” and once at ”The Jetty”. Both meals were excellent: we had lovely tables, the food was great and the service made us feel special. The experience at breakfast was the same, with attentive service from all the staff and great food served on the open veranda. Although we were using the hotel as a base for our walks around the area, we also used the spa which was well maintained and had all the facilities you could want. We did have an issue with our assigned room which was not as ordered from Trip.com. Although the reception team reconfirmed they had allocated the room accurately based on what Trip.com had ordered for us, the Cherry the reception manager took it on herself to compensate us for the mismatch. From start to finish the service at The Harbour was outstanding. All the staff that served us in reception, the bar, the restaurants and the spa were helpful, efficient and friendly. Although our room was smaller than we'd ordered, it was well appointed and the bed was very comfortable. All in all, this was one of the nicest hotels we've stayed in, this in no small part due to the professionalism and caring attitude of the staff team. We will return !

Das Swanage Grand Hotel hat eine gute Lage, 20㎞ von Bournemouth und 14㎞ vom Bahnhof Bournemouth entfernt. Das Hotel liegt auf einem Hügel und hat eine tolle Aussicht aus dem Fenster.

Very close to the beach and to the bus stop. A stone throw to the local shops and restaurants. Hotel is like Hotel Transylvania vibes which my family loves most specially the authentic elevator. 😁 Staff were nice as well. Amenities were good.

Nice little hotel with a pool. Not amazing amazing but still decent just a bit small on the size of the room.

Das Zimmer war sauber, schönes Badezimmer und komplimentäre Badprodukte. Had ein Problem mit den Zimmern elektri’... bei Ankunft der TV, Lampe und Badezimmer Lichter würden nicht schalten. Fuse Box wurde von der Mitarbeiter kontrolliert und elektrisch kam wieder an. Elektrisch wieder spät abends, wenn man die Kessel verwendet. Nachtporter (der wenig Englisch sprach) schlug wieder auf die Schmelzbox und sagte mir, das nächste Mal weniger Wasser in die Kessel zu setzen! Versuchte, dass aber elektrisch wieder geschlagen, so fragte, um Platz zu bewegen. Er hat das uns aber einen Schlüssel gegeben! Insgesamt ein guter Aufenthalt nur unfortunate Situation mit Elektrizität.

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe des Meeresfronts und des Stadtzentrums. Das Zimmer schmeckt ein, aber lustig, als Sie gingen und ich hätte das Fenster nicht ohne die Hilfe meiner Freunde öffnen können. Das Badezimmer war nicht das sauberste, das es sah aus, als wollte jemand einen Teebeutel in die Toilette werfen und es war auf dem Boden fest. Der Wasserdruck auf dem 3. Stock war absolut rutschig, es wäre einfacher gewesen, eine Waschung im Tauch zu haben. Wir beantragten ein Zimmer mit einem Badewanne, das wir nicht bekommen, aber andererseits hatte das Hotel einen kleinen Außengarten mit Sauna und Heißwanne, die wir für zusätzliche £20/person verwendeten und wir es nicht bedauerten! Auch der junge Mann auf der Rezeption war sehr hilfreich.
