LLauraLovely clean and welcoming hotel with great facilities. There is a spa and pool at the hotel and a restaurant. We ate in the bar area and the food and service was excellent. The receptionist was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed.

MMandy BoylettWe were surprised how nice the hotel is for the price we paid. I went with an old friend for a mid-week city break in Sheffield. The hotel is pretty close to theb train station and we walked there easily with our wheeled suitcases. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful The bathroom had a bath and a shower; the bedroom itself was a decent size. I don't think the electronic safe was working correctly, or maybe it was used error, not sure about that, lol. There was a fridge in the room which was great and unexpected; the wi-fi was also excellent. The staff were friendly, and we could get more coffee, tea and milk from reception. We didn't go to the gym or spa, we did go swimming and it's a lovely, big, well heated pool. There were also two steam rooms, a sauna, an ice room and a discovery shower (a hot or cold shower with four sprays and red and blue lights). There wasn't a machine to spin the swimwear in, but there were polythene bags for wet swimwear. A lovely touch in the gym reception was a coffee machine, where you could sit down and have a free cappucino or whatever your fancy is. We got the train to Meadowhall which took 5 mins and cost £2.90 return (with our senior rail cards). Some locals said the tram was even easier, but we found the train easy enough and very fast. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a city break in Sheffield.

GGastnutzerThe room is so stuffy and humid, so I have to open windows all through.
My daughter love bubble bath but could not do this because the bath tub stopper is out. Hotel is aware but chose to not fix. The long shower rope is broken.
The breakfast is so basic, there is no variety of menu.
And the car park of £18 is so ridiculous…Goshhh.
The swimming pool and sauna is cool though

GGastnutzerWir blieben im März 2024 hatte eine gute Erfahrung damals, aber dieser Besuch letztes Wochenende am 11. Mai 24 war sehr enttäuschend wir fanden das Zimmer schmutzig mit Insekten schwanken unter dem Bett, wir baten um das Zimmer, das wir getan haben, aber fanden das gleiche Problem, das ich er zeigte sich an den Nachtrezeptor, er kam mit einem 3rd Zimmer sauber glücklich um Mitternacht, jetzt sehr müde wir schliefen gut und sprach zu der Rezeption bei der Abschaum, der uns ein komplimentäres Frühstück, das war schön, aber nicht machen Sie wollen wieder zurück Wenn die Zimmer Ihnen so schmutzig vorgestellt werden, bitte sehen Sie Fotos Ich habe dem Hotelmanager am 13. Mai geschrieben, aber noch haben Sie keine Antwort erhalten

GGastnutzerOne day of work related visit. Very decent hotel in the heart of Sheffield with great amenities and good value for the price.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, granted a complimentary late check-out with no fuss.
Breakfast was really great, apart from not serving hot chocolate drink.
Will definitely stay here again next time I visit Sheffield.
