**Hotel Review: Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa, Cheshire** As a solo traveler with my beloved sausage dog, Stanley, I recently had the opportunity to stay at Crewe Hall Hotel and Spa for one night. Here’s my experience: **Location:** The location of the hotel is absolutely excellent. Nestled in beautiful grounds, it provides a serene backdrop for relaxation and exploration. The picturesque setting truly enhances the overall experience. **Arrival and Service:** Unfortunately, my arrival experience was somewhat disappointing. The service upon check-in felt slow and not particularly welcoming. There was no offer of assistance with my luggage or guidance on where I could take Stanley, which left me feeling a bit lost. I expected a more hospitable reception, especially given the hotel’s reputation. **Room Quality:** On a positive note, the room was clean and well-appointed, featuring a lovely spacious bathroom that included a plush robe and complimentary toiletries such as shampoo and soap. I appreciated the mini bar, which had complimentary water, adding a nice touch to my stay. **Room Service:** One downside was the room service hours, which ended at 10 PM. I arrived at 8:15 PM and was informed of this limitation, which felt a bit early for a hotel of this caliber. It would have been nice to have more flexible dining options during my stay. **Dining:** The hotel itself is stunning, and the grounds are a joy to explore. I had breakfast at the brasserie restaurant, where the attentive staff made a significant difference. The breakfast was wonderful, with a variety of delicious options that set a positive tone for my day. **Overall Impression:** While my stay had its ups and downs, the beautiful setting and the quality of the accommodations were highlights. I hope that the service experience can be improved for future guests, as that would truly elevate the stay. I would consider returning, especially for the lovely grounds and excellent breakfast, but I would hope for a more welcoming atmosphere next time.

The first arranged room in 311, the toilet seat cover is broken. And the next room was a dog kept barking. The reception staff rearranged another room for us shortly, their attitude is really good. But the room rearranged to 223 is in the basement, the air circulation is really not good, you can smell the strong pet smell in the hallway. And I can see the 3rd floor lift lobby had dog poo. To be honest, they were doing a dog exhibition, but they are not really well organized to avoid all the inconveniences caused. That’s not really fair to the customers who don’t expect those scenarios.

While some guests have noted that certain rooms can be on the smaller side, the overall comfort and ambiance receive high marks.   Dining Experience: The hotel’s restaurant, set within a rebuilt conservatory, offers a bright and airy dining space. Guests have highlighted the quality of the food, particularly the grilled fish dishes and Sunday roasts. The bar and outdoor garden seating provide additional spaces to relax and enjoy the surroundings.  Service & Facilities: The staff at Alderley Edge Hotel are frequently commended for their friendliness and professionalism, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere. Facilities include free parking with electric charging stations, pet-friendly accommodations (with an additional charge), and well-maintained gardens. However, it’s worth noting that the hotel does not have leisure facilities or a gym.   Guest Feedback: Overall, guests have expressed satisfaction with their stays, citing the hotel’s cleanliness, location, and service as standout features. Some have mentioned minor issues such as thin walls leading to noise disturbances and occasional maintenance concerns in the bathrooms. Despite these, the consensus remains positive, with many guests indicating a desire to return.  Conclusion: Alderley Edge Hotel successfully marries historical charm with modern comforts, making it a delightful choice for travelers seeking a serene yet convenient base in Cheshire. Whether you’re exploring the local countryside or indulging in the village’s vibrant scene, this hotel offers a memorable and comfortable stay. 

Das Hotel ist in Chester und hat sich in der Nähe des Hotels in Chester gebucht. Das Restaurant hat nicht gegessen, aber 2 Bar-Mahlzeiten bestellt, die mit einer ausgezeichneten Auswahl reichhaltig und lecker waren. Zimmerservice war auch ausgezeichnet, da wir Getränke im Zimmer bestellten und auch Sandwiches und Suppe. Das Frühstück war auch ausgezeichnet. Alle Mitarbeiter, mit denen ich gesprochen habe, waren höflich und freundlich und nichts war zu viel Problem. Ich werde sicherlich dieses Hotel nochmal für meinen nächsten Besuch in Chester buchen.

Das Zimmer ist sehr sauber, sie können andere Geschäftsaktivitäten haben, wenn Sie auf dem Weg sind. Super Dog, es gibt über 180. Das Frühstück hat die beliebtesten Rinderbeutel 🥐 Die Umgebung ist sehr gut, und es gibt Pool und Fitnesszimmer

The staff here are all lovely, super helpful and accommodating. Hotel guests can use the spa facilities for free during their stay, something we took full advantage of. It’s a nice hotel to stay in if you’re in the area. Ideally there’d be a little more attention to upkeep- there are cobwebs in some harder to reach spots, we kept being given too few towels, the heater didn’t work, the shower was stiff and hard to turn on, and the batteries in the tv remote needed replacing. All small things that the staff were happy to fix when notified though.

Es muss mehr Lebensmittelwahl geben. Wartung IE-Änderungen oder Reparaturen an Türen oder Strahlern sollten nicht befördert werden, während die Gäste entspannen, arbeiten oder spät schlafen. In 2 Fällen Wartungspersonal arbeitete mehrere Stunden ruinieren meinen Aufenthalt. Sehr sehr laut.

Stayed here twice before and was satisfied with experience.  Unfortunately, this time, I had to change the room as the curtains were falling down and wouldn’t close.  The replacement room they gave me smelled of sweat and wee.   Other than that the hotel is nice and reasonably priced.  Parking is good.  Cleaning needs to be prioritised to improve the experience
