My daughter loved our room and pool, we stayed overnight. Pleasant hotel staffs. And thank you very much for granting my request for giving us an amazing view by the river. Highly recommended.
All the best,
Arcy
Ich habe nicht viel Zeit verbracht, weil ich aus Vancouver Flughafen kam, aber es ist ziemlich gut für den Preis. Allerdings sollte Parkplatz weit entfernt sein, wenn Sie spät kommen.
Absolutely stunning view. Cabin was older but very charming, we made the most of the fireplace in the room and enjoyed a view of the lake from our balcony. Bathroom was clean with everything we needed. Coffee also provided in the room which was nice. I read the beds were uncomfortable on other reviews and I’d partially agree - not the best but again not the main reason or expectation for visiting emerald lake. I will say the pillows were extremely thin and uncomfortable.
Staff were very friendly and attentive. Shuttle service was easy. Restaurant was pricey but overall good. No wifi or signal in the room is something to be aware of, but heightened the experience in my opinion. Overall, great!
Great downtown location with a beautiful shore walkway right across the street and easy access to everything. Unfortunately, my room was very noisy due to nearby street construction. I was woken up by what sound like a concrete cutter powered by a massive industrial generator. The blend of piercing, high-pitched screeching and the deep, thunderous hum created a jarring symphony that was impossible to ignore for an unpleasant and headache-inducing morning. I recommend future guests request a quiet room, especially on workdays, as construction noise can be disruptive
Very very pleasant stay. We used it for an overnight 14h layover before continuing our trip
- location is unbeatable, 1 min walk from check in areas
- staff was all around very friendly
- high quality (even though a bit old), but very well maintained and also high quality bathroom equipment (soaps, cremes etc).
- beds were extremely comfortable
- breakfast is à la carte with views of the airplanes / terminals
- gym is small but all you need is there
My husband booked a two night stay at Painter's lodge for my birthday. Apparently the lodge is under new management and just opened 2 days before our stay. This lodge must have been quite the hotel in its day. It needs a lot of work and with love and care I think it will reach its original beauty.
The staff were friendly and very helpful. The restaurant and bar were not up and running but we were offered a continental breakfast of yogurt, fruit, granola bars and juice.
The location was perfect and the decor was lovely. It felt like time had been turned back to a wonderful era. Lots of history displayed on the walls.
We had a wonderful stay.

This time round it's a bit disappointing as I was assigned a room just outside the swimming pool so I had to close all the curtains for privacy. Abit of aging as compared to my previous stay with them. The very good thing that I would like to recommend others to the hotel is that they would try their best to check you in even though you were very early. I had a 14+hrs flight and I would need the bed badly and they arranged without saying anything.
Black Rock Oceanfront is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at in Canada, It is upscale and luxurious. It is located within walking distance of the Trans Pacific hiking trail and the Lighthouse.
It has a heated outdoor pool.and a hot tub overlooking the ocean, as well as a fitness room. There are two oceanfront restaurants. They offer the same menu. One is more formal while the other has a casual bar-like feel. The food is very good although pricey, like most places in Ucluelet and Tofino.
Our room at the lodge was large. It had a spectacular view of Big Beach and the ocean from the balcony, which was large enough for more than 2 people to sit at. However, you could see and hear your neighbours enjoying their balconies too. There was a large, ultra-modern bathroom with a separate rainfall shower. There was also a 2-person bathtub located next to a covered glass window. If you uncover that window during daylight, you could see the ocean across the room and balcony.
I prefer Ucluelet because it's quieter than Tofino, and would definitely stay at Black Rock Oceanfront again in a heartbeat.
Hotel in Flughafennähe.
It was very quiet, in a good location and the breakfast was really good!

JJanineLBWe visited the hotel for our Duex Days event and overall had a pleasant experience. The valet parking was smooth and professional, and the hotel staff were generally polite and courteous.
However, one aspect could be improved: flexibility at check-in. I was running a bit late, so my husband, who shares the same last name and was on the reservation, tried to check in ahead of me. Despite offering to send a photo of my ID and confirming the reservation details, the front desk staff insisted that I had to be there in person. I understand the importance of security, but a bit more flexibility or alternative verification methods would have made the process more convenient and guest-friendly.
Aside from that, our stay was enjoyable, and we appreciated the service and atmosphere overall.
SSK-DriverEine sehr gute Unterkunftserfahrung.
DDouble O mamaWe wrapped up spring break with a super chill three-day, two-night stay at the Four Seasons Resort Whistler, and it was exactly what our family of four needed.
The rooms were awesome—super comfy, stylish, and spotlessly clean. The view of the mountains? Absolutely stunning. It made lounging around way more enjoyable.
The outdoor heated pool and hot tubs were a hit with all of us, and the kids especially loved the marshmallow roasting session held daily from 4–6 pm. It was such a fun and cozy family activity! The ping-pong facilities were also a big favorite, though they seemed to be in high demand.
Breakfast was a highlight, too—the buffet had an amazing variety of options, and we were pleasantly surprised to find BC caviar as part of the offerings that day. A unique and delicious treat!
The only downside was the playroom—it’s a bit small, especially during busy times like spring break or summer. It felt a little limited for all the kids hoping to use it.
That said, the staff nailed it. They were super friendly and helpful, adding little touches to make our stay extra special.
Four Seasons Whistler definitely delivered. We left feeling recharged and already talking about when we can come back!
NNino RabagoI am truly grateful that the staff allowed us to check in early upon arrival. After a long 14-hour flight, that gesture already made our experience wonderful.
The room is clean, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and the view is beautiful.
My only small complaints are that there were no bedroom slippers provided, and the coffee machine only makes warm coffee rather than hot.
Overall, we had a lovely stay. The front desk staff are friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist. We truly appreciated their hospitality.
CCOJVI’ve stayed at this hotel several times. This time, I stayed there for celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday. The front staff I’ve met when I visited last time remembered me and I was impressed. She was so nice and kind. The hotel gave us a desert for the occasion which was so good. We had an amazing time! Thank you so much for the wonderful service!!
JJess CollinsOverall good. Very basic motel, but it is clean and comfortable. No real extras or amenities- there was coffee in the lobby when we checked out early in the morning. The heating unit could use an update- it was either on or off, too hot or too cold - difficult to get to an nice comfortable temp, but it worked.
GGastnutzerThe place was warm, spacious, and incredibly welcoming. We truly enjoyed our stay and appreciated the cleanliness and comfort it offered. The availability of a parking spot was a great convenience, and after a long day, we had a restful and peaceful sleep. Highly recommended!
