Location ok got bus stand in front of the hotel , staff friendly , room clean... only the onsen wanna pay for 150 yen per day....onsen there have a lot of shampoo n conditioner to choose...this is the photo

Das Personal der Unterkunft war außergewöhnlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das englischsprachige Personal führte uns durch die Anlage und erklärte uns ausführlich die Regeln. Trotz der Ausgangssperre um 21 Uhr durften wir später durch eine andere Tür zurückkehren. Das Abendessen war hervorragend und köstlich, es gab auch eine Auswahl an veganen Gerichten. Es ist ein perfekter Ort zum Entspannen und Erholen.

Sehr zufrieden mit diesem Hotel, 15 Minuten zu Fuß vom JR-Bahnhof entfernt, vorbei am Thunfischpier in der Mitte. Das Hotel kann die Abholung vom JR-Bahnhof arrangieren. Wir haben das Hotel gebeten, uns bei unserer Abreise dorthin zu bringen, sehr praktisch! Um zum Hotel zu gelangen, muss man durch einen Tunnel gehen, ähnlich wie der Tunnel in Chihiros Reise ins Zauberland. Durch diesen Tunnel gelangt man zum Thermalhotel, wo es Essen und Getränke gibt, hahaha! Das Buffet des Hotels ist sehr reichhaltig, das Sashimi ist sehr frisch und man kann sich zum Frühstück seine eigene Reisschüssel mit Meeresfrüchten zubereiten. Alkoholische Getränke am Buffet müssen separat bestellt werden. Das Thermalbad im Innenbereich ist nicht groß, aber es gibt zwei Thermalbecken im Außenbereich, eines im Innenhof und eines am Meer! Es gibt auch Saunen und Felsbäder. Im Erdgeschoss gibt es außerdem einen kostenlosen Selbstbedienungs-Getränkeautomaten.

This is a very nice ryokan that you feel relax and clean. ● The hotel offers two types of yukata, and for one of them, you can choose your preferred pattern. ● The hotel provides complimentary limited-time plum juice, snacks, and ramen. ● The hotel offers two types of private onsen services for free. There isn't much difference between them, just the size and shape of the tubs. Each session is 40 minutes, and you can book multiple times on a first-come, first-served basis. ● Besides the private onsens, the hotel also has mixed-gender onsens (with provided bathing attire), a men's onsen, and a women's onsen. ● Kaiseiki meals normal only.

Wir kamen früh an, um unser Gepäck abzugeben, und machten uns dann auf den Weg zum Kumano Kodo. Die Rückkehr am Abend war sehr praktisch, da es nur 10 Gehminuten vom JR-Bahnhof entfernt ist. Das Zimmer war sehr groß und komfortabel, mit zwei Einzelbetten und einer Tatami-Matte, auf der meiner Meinung nach problemlos vier Personen schlafen könnten. Wir hatten das Zimmer praktisch für uns allein, haha! Das Kaiseki-Abendessen und das Frühstück am nächsten Tag waren besonders gut und sehr authentisch lokal. Außerdem konnte sich das Personal problemlos auf Englisch verständigen.

We stayed in this lovely family hotel for a night, we opted for room stay with dinner and breakfast. There's no shops or restaurant near by, so highly suggest to choose the stay with meals option, otherwise there's cooking facility within the room also, so I think it's possible to cook your own meal if necessary. Location - the hotel is just round the corner of the famous Shirasaki Ocean Park, we even had a good view of the park from our room. There's parking space right in front of the hotel building, so it's very handy. We cycled to the Shirasaki Ocean Park then to the hotel, so it worked out perfect. There's a very steep slop going up to the hotel though, but it wasn't an issue for us as we pushed out bikes up. Facilities - this is a family run hotel which believes was built a while ago, so can't compare it to all those new built hotels. The ”room” we stayed is more like a mini flat, it has a big kitchen, good sized bathroom with changing area, a separate toilet, a living room, bedroom and an extra ”sitting” area. The entire flat is in traditional Japanese style which we loved, and it has all facilities that made our stay comfortable. It also has coined washing machine and driers. We could even access to rooftop on the 4th floor to view the sunset. If you're looking for a quiet place to have quality time, then this is a good place to do so. There's also ”public bath” within the hotel, it's small but wasn't an issue for us. There's also shower and bath in the room also if you want some privacy. Food - all food was cooked and prepared by the hotel owner, and she's a talented chef! Dinner was impressive, breakfast was standard. The hotel owner is very friendly and lovely, it's definitely ”the place” to stay if you're visiting the area. We highly recommend it.

Die Lage des Hotels ist relativ abgelegen, lassen Sie sich also nicht von den Bewertungen anderer Gäste täuschen. Vom Bahnhof bis zum Hotel können Sie 1,4 Kilometer laufen. Der Fußweg dauert tatsächlich lange und Sie müssen durch drei Tunnel gehen , vor allem in der Nähe des Hotels ... Die Sonne schien mittags so stark, dass es im Tunnel so dunkel war, dass ich meine Finger nicht sehen konnte. Das Hotelpersonal war jedoch ziemlich beängstigend sehr nett und enthusiastisch, und die meisten von ihnen waren ältere Onkel. Das Zimmer ist sehr alt, als ob es während der Showa-Zeit erbaut wurde. Ein Check-in vor 15:00 Uhr ist nicht möglich. Allerdings ist die heiße Quelle im Freien sehr gut, sie ist auf drei Seiten von Bergen und Meer umgeben, und die heiße Quelle im Innenbereich ist extrem heiß ... Ich habe Ende November eingecheckt und bin darin fast ohnmächtig geworden. Wenn Sie zum Bahnhof fahren möchten, verfügt das Hotel über einen kostenlosen Bus, der die Gäste von 8:00 bis 10:00 Uhr morgens bringt. Planen Sie die Zeit daher unbedingt im Voraus ein. Das Frühstück im Hotel ist recht reichhaltig. Wer geschmacklich nicht besonders wählerisch ist, kann es trotzdem essen!

I was about to give bad reviews due to some poor check-in experience, but everything after check in is so good that compensates this journey. First, the check-in process that brings me with bad experience: it is self-served and there is no any staff. By rights you should receive an instruction email with check-in PIN in advance, which I heard from other guests. However, I didn’t receive anything but Trip’s confirmation letter and I was unable to check in. And my sim card in Japan is just an internet card unable to make phone calls, which means I have no way to contact the hotel directly. My partner and I were desperately locked out of the hotel in the evening, after 7h hiking, with no other available hotel in the mountain. After waiting for over 1 hour, other guests helped us to enter the admin room where there is an ipad to call the hotel (why not make it available to guests without checking in?), and with the help of Trip’s agency, we finally checked in successfully. Then here is the staying experience: so good that makes me almost forgive the poor check-in experience. Each room is a spacious individual house and ours has a garden for BBQ. The food is also self-served, with the cooking stuffs and ingredients in the fridge. It was unexpected that you need to cook yourself (I don’t think it was listed on room info when I booked it), but it’s not bad that Wagyu, chicken, and vegetables are served. The rooms are big and cozy, and you can do the laundry after hiking. Everything is good about the hotel itself, just be aware of the self-checkin process and make sure you get the instructions before that.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms were really special in their own ways. The one I stayed in was relatively spacious for Japan standards, and the views of the sea were stunning. Amenities were adequate, sheets and pillows smell fresh and clean. They provide pyjamas as well! The highlights of this hotel is the super spacious, clean and new bathroom with a tub that automatically fills itself to 42 degrees Celsius water as well as the back door of the hotel leads directly to the private beach area that is quiet and peaceful. Not to forget the restaurant area with beautiful views as well! Service was friendly, English was minimal but good enough. Location is slightly inaccessible without a car but the quiet surrounding makes up for it.

Ich buchte dieses Traumhotel mit einem Zimmer im japanischen Stil und Meerblick. Es war mein erster Besuch in Kada, einer kleinen Küstenstadt mit einer wirklich wunderschönen Atmosphäre. Die Taigyu-Straßenbahn ist bezaubernd. Das Hotel bietet einen kostenlosen Shuttle zum Bahnhof Kada an. Rufen Sie einfach vorher im Hotel an, um Ihre Ankunftszeit zu bestätigen. Der Shuttle kam erst am nächsten Morgen um 9 Uhr an, sodass ich zu Fuß etwa 20 Minuten zum Bahnhof brauchte. Baidu Maps ist ziemlich genau. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen schlichten, beliebten Yukata-Bademantel und kostenlose graue Tabi-Socken zum Mitnehmen. Wenn Sie einen hübschen Yukata bevorzugen, können Sie sich einen in der Lobby aussuchen. Das Zimmer ist kreisförmig, mit Toilette und Bad im Außenbereich und einem Sofa mit Blick aufs Meer. Das private Zimmer ist mit japanischen Tatami-Matten ausgestattet und recht geräumig. Das Tatami-Futon ist bereits zum Abendessen ausgelegt. Das Onsen des Hotels blickt auf den Sonnenuntergang, und ich habe fast eine Stunde darin gebadet, nur um ihm zuzusehen. Die Bäder für Männer und Frauen werden morgens und abends gewechselt. Der Sonnenuntergang über dem Meer ist wirklich atemberaubend. Das Abendessen ist gegen Aufpreis erhältlich und umfasst ein Kaiseki Ryori (japanisches Tai-Tai)-Menü. Ich muss unbedingt Kada in Wakayama besuchen, wenn ich die Gelegenheit dazu habe.
