Exit Kumamoto Station , turn RIGHT is the hotel (pic). Take the lift up to the lobby for check-in. Luv the hotel, service is excellent. There is so many resturants, supermarts, ¥100 store, pharmacy, convience store beside. If you booked day trip, the meetup is at Bus stop 7 (pic) . Its just across the hotel.

Hotel was easily accessible (5 minutes walk) from the nearest tram stop next to Sakuramachi mall. Staff hospitality was exceptional. Check in and out process was very smooth too. Some of the staff could also converse well in English. Hotel has coin laundromats which was really helpful for our four nights stay. The hotel breakfast was really good too with wide spread of Japanese and western options. Also wonderful that the hotel lounge is open daily after 2pm with free drinks and hot tea/coffee provided.

Can't really find a fault with this hotel. The room was perfect. Nice and clean. Comfortable bed. The room had a humidifier machine. The staff were very nice to deal with and welcoming. The location was spot on. I'd stay here again most definitely

🛍️ The hotel is conveniently located just behind SAKURA MACHI Kumamoto and is a mere 10-minute walk from the main shopping street. It is also surrounded by tram stations, making travel easy and accessible. 🚙 Although the hotel does not have its own parking lot, it offers discounts at nearby parking facilities. I found it more convenient, however, to park at the lot directly in front of the hotel for 1,400 Yen per night, which is almost the same price as the hotel's discounted options. 🛌 The room size is typical for a Japanese hotel with two twin beds, but the bathroom is slightly larger than average. The only downside is that one of the beds is positioned too close to the window, meaning you'll sleep near the curtain, which is a bit dusty.

Good if you like old school charm hotel, room and service. Castle view room was a disappointment - have to stand at the side of the window to actually see the castle :( Location was great and parking was onsite. There’s a driveway at the front of the hotel and from there, the staff guided us to their onsite parking. It’s as advertised JPY1000 per day but on day of checkout, parking is until 11.30am. After that, cheaper to park elsewhere (JPY100 for 15mins vs JPY200 for 2hrs at Kumamoto Castle).

The hotel is very accessible. It is inside the mall. The bus terminal going to airport is just underneath. So many restaurants and there is a family mart too. The hotel is new and as expected is not so spacious but the breakfast is good and staff are really accommodating. Highly recommended this hotel if you are traveling to Kumamoto. Kumamoto castle is just 15mins walked while Shimotori Shopping Center is just 5-10mins away. We are also very lucky to witness their festival since the parade happened around the area. The Great Festival of Fujisaki Hachimangu Shrine (or Zuibyo Festival), held every September. Its so fun🥰🥰

Das Hotel ist hervorragend gelegen, neben dem JR-Bahnhof, ist ein Luxuszimmer eingerichtet, im 4. Stock gibt es einen kostenlosen Snackbereich, alkoholische Getränke und Cup-Nudeln kostenlos, das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig, Toilette trocken und nass getrennt, nur Frühstück im Allgemeinen, insgesamt sehr gut, kann Freunde in der Umgebung empfehlen

I had a pleasant stay at KKR Hotel Kumamoto. The room was quite spacious and very clean. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of Kumamoto Castle. From the hotel restaurant, you can enjoy a distant view of the back of the castle, which was still quite nice during breakfast. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend it to others.

Die Lage ist gut, bahnhofsnah, und der Service ist ordentlich, mit einer chinesischsprachigen Rezeptionistin. Abendessen wird ebenfalls angeboten. Wer jedoch keine heißen Quellen mag, braucht nicht herzukommen, und wer von gemischtgeschlechtlichen Bädern träumt, sollte ebenfalls woanders hingehen. Ich rate vom Kauf des handförmigen Bades für 1500 Yen ab; man kann zwar drei davon nutzen, aber nur zwischen 10:30 und 14:30 Uhr. Ich habe es geschafft, zwei zu benutzen und habe eines verschwendet.

We drove to the hotel for one night stay near Aso Mountain. Free parking available. Beautiful view, and we are able to catch the sunset by 18:00 after checking in. We chose to enjoy the onsen first before buffet dinner. We did the right thing, as after onsen, we are starving. They provide a range of fish sashimi , horse sashimi, sushi, noodles, bbq, hot dishes. All you can drink for me yay! There's free ramen at 9:30-10:30 and I had a bowl of specially made ramen before bed. Buffet breakfast is also spot on, we had a full stomach before heading to other locations around Aso the other day. Great deal, great service! And there's Kumamoto souvenirs for last minute purchase!
