💯💯💯 recommend Lindartun Guesthouse! Stayed here for 1 night on 1st October 2024 after our drive to Highlands and got here when it was already dark but i loved the drive to the junction from the main road to the guesthouse. It was pretty dark around the area which we thought we could be lucky for aurora sightings but it was cloudy. Luckily, I asked the owner when was the last aurora sighting at the guesthouse and she immediately opened her laptop and that’s when I found put there’s aurora forecast website in Iceland. She was the one that let us know there’s higher chance to spot aurora on the upcoming friday due to clear sky. Oh btw, for our check-in process, when I first arrived and entered the guesthouse, please take off your shoes by the entrance, and go to reception area infront of the kitchen and take the house phone to call the owner. We booked room no. 5 which cones with a sofa bed and the long toom was so cute and cozy. This is the cutest guesthouse room design among all 13 accoms across the country during our trip. I really loved it a lot as the room was long and spacious. The common dining area was really nice and big which I didn’t really spend time here. But I used the kitchen the next morning to boil hot water and make myself my hot chocolate and instant mushroom soup. Worth my money. Will book again if I visit Iceland again next time! 因為約了第二天去看冰洞，發現這裏離集合地點才46公里，雖然是要走回頭路，因為價格算是性價比最高的了，於是就訂下來了。 晚上10點才到冰河湖，拍照後到酒店已經11點半，發現酒店後面就是一個大冰川，從房間的窗户就完全可以看到躺在床上還發現屋頂上有一個天窗，躺在床上就能看星空和極光！ 空間確實有點小（冰島酒店的普遍現象！），但是麻雀雖小 五臟俱全，我們在房間做了晚餐。浴室裏有地暖，很不錯👍

Das Hotel befindet sich 20 Minuten Fahrt von der Stadt Selfos entfernt. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, sanitär und Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig. Es hat keinen Eingang in China gesehen. Es gibt warmes Wasser draußen und die Nacht ist sehr ruhig.

Sehr nahe und zu Fuß entfernt von Skogafoss Wasserfall.  Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist datiert, kein Kühlschrank, aber sie bieten kostenfrei Kaffee/Tee (Maschinen) an, die direkt außerhalb der Zimmer ist. Wasser schmelzt wie Schwefel, aber es ist auf das geothermische Wasser, das sie verwenden.

Das Gute: - Das Frühstück war sehr gut! - Zimmer und Bett war warm. - Die Warmwasserdusche funktioniert fast sofort. - Netflix und Amazon Prime sind im Fernsehen verfügbar. Kann verbessert werden: - Toilettenschleiftür, die laut schreiend geräusch ausstrahlt, was irritierend war. - schlechte Sound-Isolierung zwischen den Böden, wir blieben auf dem Boden und wir konnten die ganze Nacht hören, dass er steckt. Wir haben das an die Hotelpersonal zurückgekommen, aber wir hatten gerade ein Gesicht und ein Schulterschnur, das deutlich zeigte, dass sie nichts zu tun beabsichtigten. - Telefon im Zimmer war nicht arbeiten, das Personal musste es neu starten, weil sie sagten, es ist eine gemeinsame Frage. - Der Luftwind im Badezimmer setzte sich nach einer Zeit auf, wurde gesagt, es zu schließen und wieder aufzuschalten, um es wieder zu arbeiten. - wir prüften gleichzeitig mit einem anderen Paar an der Rezeption, wir hörten, dass sie ein zusätzliches Zimmer aus dem Standardzimmer (wie wir) erhalten haben. Wir fragten, ob wir auch aufgebaut werden würden, sagte uns das Personal gerade, dass es von dem Betrag abhängt, den wir für das Zimmer bezahlt haben. Aber wir haben eindeutig das gleiche Standardzimmer reserviert? Gesamt: Die Zimmerpreise waren auf der hohen Seite und viel erwartet, aber der Zustand des Zimmers und der Service waren unter Lieferung.

Das Hotel liegt hervorragend auf einer kleinen Insel direkt neben dem schwarzen Sandstrand. Allerdings gibt es im Zimmer ziemlich viele Insekten und es wird kein Frühstück angeboten. Das Zimmer ist sehr groß, das größte, in dem ich je in Island übernachtet habe!

We have a 1 night stay at Midgard Camp during our 9 days road trip in Iceland. It is our 2nd stop hotel of our trip. Though the room are not big, but it is comfortable, good and cosy enough for all. The family rooms comes with 1 double bed plus 1 bunk bed enough for all 4 of us. The whole place is very vibrant, friendly staff, nicely decorated and energetic yet peaceful and quiet for individual enjoyment. The whole place is very well maintained and It is very clean even the common toilet as I bathe there to avoid waiting for our private toilet to save some time. The common kitchen is for all guests and is well equipped. We cooked our hot meal as well as breakfast there. We can also enjoy the complementary coffee/tea from the hotel paid breakfast. Overall, We enjoy our stay there even though it is just 1 night. The location is easily found with the GPS, you wouldn't miss it. Highly recommended this place. Also, really appreciate the friendly staff giving us a round tour of the place explaining where are the common toilet, hot bathe tub, dryer for our swim wear should we use the hot bathe tub and sauna. This is indeed exceed our expectation actually. 10/10!

Las cabañas están muy bien Como punto negativo veo la manera de hacer el check in. Tienes que llamar a un número de teléfono y que te digan el número de cabaña y la contraseña de entrada Quitando eso, el sitio la verdad es que está genial!

We had a fantastic stay at North Star Cottages. The cottage was clean and well appointed. We arrived to a warm, snug cabin after a day of walking in the rain, and it had everything we needed for a short one night stay. We were a family of four and we brought food to prepare. The kitchen had everything to cook, eat, and wash up. Beds were comfy and the shower was hot. Really great place.

Es gibt einen großen Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür in der Stadt. Das Hotel hat keinen Aufzug und es ist schwierig, großes Gepäck zu transportieren, wenn man in einem der oberen Stockwerke wohnt. Der Rezeptionist half mir jedoch, zwei Koffer gleichzeitig nach oben zu tragen. Das hat mir sehr gut gefallen.
