Positives-große Lage. Ruhezimmer, kein Lärm aus dem Verkehr. Sehr sauber. Großer Service an der Bar. Große Preise. Mitarbeiter freundlich, freundlich und möchte dort sein, gut gemacht für die Bestellung Ihres Personals sind sie Ihnen ein Kredit. Wir würden sicher noch einmal buchen. Danke.

Ausgezeichnete Erfahrung in diesem fantastischen Hotel zu bleiben! Von der warmen Willkommen an der Tür bis zu einem freundlichen Einchecken, super sauber und gemütliche Zimmer mit modernen Einrichtungen und super komfortable Betten bis zur Bar in der Nacht, die leckere Cocktails und eine tolle Whisky-Selektion bietet - Sie sind gut betreut! Nur aus der Tür können Sie die Stadtmauer und viele kleine Cafés und Restaurants sowie die Bahnhof erreichen. Valet Parking ist 50 £, eine Garage mit etwa 35 £ pro Nacht ist nur um die Ecke, wenn Sie mit dem Auto kommen. Wir würden sicher wieder besuchen!

Wha an amazing hotel-great location, rooms were spotless! We had an issue with an alarm going off and they moved us to another room with no bother! Would definitely recommend and will be staying next time we visit York

We stayed at the hotel for just one night, but it was exceptionally lovely. I loved the interiors, the rooms, and the location. It’s quiet, the neighbourhood is beautiful, and we’d be happy to recommend this place to others.

A lovely hotel in a really good location. Not that far from the railway station and close to the shambles, Christmas market, jorvic centre and the minster. The room was very spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean. The 1 thing I did notice was that the room is exactly as it shows on the booking site pictures - and when I say exactly I mean exactly! It's as if the housekeeping staff use the photos as a reference for how the room is supposed to look. The last thing is the price. We was on a room only basis, but for a room overlooking the river Ouse in that location it was a brilliant price and the cheapest of any of the nearby other hotels I looked at prior to booking. Will definitely stay here again when next visiting York.

Ich und mein Partner blieben für einen Abend im Milner, Das Hotel ist in der Innenstadt schön und sehr sauber Das Personal ist sehr hilfreich und freundlich. Das Zimmer, das wir im Hotel verblieben, war in den Seiten und obwohl nicht im Hauptteil des Hotels es war ziemlich schön für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt und der Korridor vom Haupthotel bis zu den Seiten ist sehr hilfreich und schützt Sie vor dem Wetter vor allem im Kühlschrank Monate. Wir werden sicherlich wieder bleiben und hoffentlich im Haupthotelgebäude nächstes Mal umher bleiben.

Das Zimmer war ok, aber Bett und Möbel waren nicht benutzerfreundlich. Need place the bed so you can get in at both sides. 🤷🏼

I stayed at the DoubleTree by Hilton York for a short visit and, while the location was reasonably convenient, the overall experience fell short of expectations for a Hilton-branded hotel. I was upgraded to a room located across the car park from the main building, accessed via stairs and without central heating. Instead, the room relied on standing portable heaters, which wasn’t ideal — especially given the wet weather and the need to walk outside to reach the room. The room itself felt quite tired and dated, with noticeably creaky floorboards both inside the room and from neighbouring rooms, which made it hard to fully relax. The location is decent enough, but if you’re travelling by public transport there are better areas of York to stay in that offer easier access and a nicer overall setting. I didn’t try the breakfast, as there are plenty of good local options nearby, which I enjoyed instead, so I don’t feel I missed out. One small disappointment was that coffee wasn’t available outside of breakfast hours. Overall, with so many good accommodation options in York, I’m not likely to stay here again.

Good location close to city walls , 15min walking distance from train station. Good English breakfast included in the room price. Room decent not fancy, perhaps a small renovation could be useful. Our room was at 3rd floor without lift so maybe is difficult for those with lot of baggages. The shower was fine with a lot of pressure despite being on the upper floor. It wasn’t possible to leave luggages after check out due to serious personal problem of the owner but in general he was very friendly willing to assist as was the one of the two ladies (dark hair) responsible for breakfast, always polite.

Schön sauber ideale Lage für das Stadtzentrum 5 min zu Fuß zu den Schammeln das Frühstück war fab (wünsche sie aber nur Pilze gemacht, aber das’s nur persönliche Präferenz) viele Optionen Zimmer war spotless und das Personal war super freundlich .Ich brechen Mein Arm während ich dort war - nicht im Hotel - sie setzten mir eine vorübergehende Schleife und bekam mir ein Taxi nach A&E konnten nicht genug tun, um zu helfen.
