Central location to Portsmouth, staff very accommodating and very clean. 1 only issue was bed was uncomfortable so sleep was not the best but this is preference on mattress

Es ist ein eigenartiges Hotel. Es hat seine Glanzzeit längst hinter sich, ist aber immer noch sehr schön und hat viel Charakter. Angesichts des Preises ist es ein Kinderspiel.

Stay here a few weeks and had a much better experience. Checkin told we are full and you have to take a twin bed. Then asked to pay, however I had already prepaid. The room had a window which was an internal view. Bath struggled to stay filled as issue with plug. The light above the bath flashed on and off for a while then stayed off. The attiutide from reception was poor, we are full , nothing we can do!

If you are looking for some quiet time away, this is a peacefully located hotel. The ambience is calming, and the reception team is welcoming, not to mention the many look-out spots to watch the boats in the harbour. I came to this hotel 10 years ago on a girls' trip, and as i was looking for somewhere to go again, i came across this hotel and thought i would mark my 10-year anniversary. And i must say nothing has changed. Having said that, i do think it's time for a renovation as the decor is becoming dated. The exterior of the building, along with the windows, needs cleaning and fresh paint. The cleaning team needs to pay closer attention to details. Also, when a room have been cleaned and locked up for some time, they need to bare in mind that it will acquire dust built up, and upon issuing it to a guest it need to be freshen up. Overall, it's a lovely, quiet place away from the rush and hustle of london, and i would recommend it, and i will visit again in the future!

Great sea view and friendly staffs. Full English breakfast with good taste. Elevators not function that well, always long queues.

Exceelent newish hotel near Utilita Bowl Cricket ground. Breakfas busy but very good as included in room prices. Rooms suitable for shorter stays and pre cruise stays from Southampton only a little further out. TV lounge/bar area was excellent to watch England play in the Euros. Large car park and walkable to nearby stores and restaurants.
