The location of the Langstone is very good as were all of the staff and the breakfast, the only let down was the lack of cleanliness of our room. Coffee mugs and glasses in the room were dirty, the horizontal surfaces dusty, the high and low corners of the room cobwebbed. The mirrors and windows unclean . The bathroom fittings etc were very tired and the bath bottom uninviting. The  view of a fig tree was OK but the area around it unkempt. The beds, twin, though we had anticipated a double we’re clean and comfortable. The light above the mirror was not working. We did ask for the room to be serviced after our first night, unfortunately only the beds were remade and the waste bin emptied. No cleaning attempted nor towels changed. I do feel that there may be a lack of pride in the job from some of the staff but the cobwebs and dust were long standing. Would we stay again , possibly, as on checking out we made the above comments and received apologies and a note for an upgrade for any next visit.  We had spent the previous night in a Premier Inn in Salisbury and the cleanliness there was was very good.

Hallo, der Service des Hotels ist auch sehr gut. Die Hotelbediensteten sind immer sehr freundlich und gerne hilfreich, sie sind immer bereit, meine Fragen zu beantworten und nützliche Empfehlungen zu bieten. Darüber hinaus ist das Frühstück des Hotels sehr lecker, viele Arten und gibt es täglich verschiedene Optionen. Der Service des Restaurants ist auch sehr gut, die Mitarbeiter sind immer sehr aufmerksam und enthusiastisch. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass der Preis des Hotels etwas hoch ist, aber angesichts der Lage und der Qualität des Services denke ich, dass dieser Preis immer noch sehr vernünftig ist. Zusammenfassend, ich mag dieses Hotel sehr sehr, wenn ich wieder in diese Stadt reise, werde ich sicher wählen, wieder zu bleiben.

Just needed two nights stay at short notice. Lucky rooms available at very good rate. Great location and peaceful despite wedding going on till mid night. Excellent rate as well. Room was in the stable block, only down side could not open window to enjoy Fresh air as on first floor, very peaceful grounds. The main house impressive inside and grounds wonderful.

the location is really good.. the cleaning is also the same.. make sure your room has a window 🪟. I didn't notice this detail.. but the beds are flexible.. there is no toilet bowl or broom for the toilet and shampoo was scarce..

I stayed here for work purposes and it was perfect for all I needed. Will be staying here again. Great to have breakfast included and free parking too.

Ausgezeichnetes Zimmer und gutes Personal

Very modern hotel more like a big gym with rooms. Not sure about the clear glass bathroom doors though! Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok, booked it the night before using a QR code on the leaflet left in the room and only paid £10 instead of £12.50.

Hotel sehr gut gelegen, sauber und ruhig, Frühstück reichhaltig und von guter Qualität, Personal sehr freundlich und stets hilfsbereit. Zum 2ten Mal wie gewohnt angenehmerAufenthalt. Sowohl Southhampton als auch Portsmouth schnell erreichbar. Sainbury's, Next oder bsw. Costa fußläufig. Gerne wieder!
