Great ocean view and nostalgic charm! An absolute gem on the coast! We were very lucky to be assigned Room 24 – a beautiful, wonderfully spacious room facing the sea. The view from there is simply breathtaking! We were able to enjoy one of the most stunning, violet-glowing sunsets right from our window. An unforgettable experience! We were also particularly fascinated by the magnificent dining room. The entire ambiance exudes a wonderful nostalgia that instantly takes you back 40 years to a stylish, elegant era. The tables were beautifully set with fine porcelain dinnerware – dinner there was a true delight for all the senses. The location of the hotel is also excellent: perfectly situated in Stranraer right by the harbor, making it an ideal starting point for exploring or continuing the journey. The service was attentive and warm. Full points from us and a very clear recommendation for this historic castle by the harbor! We would love to come back.

Excellent stay at The Garret — easily a 10/10. The room was spotlessly clean, comfortable, and had every amenity I could have needed for a really enjoyable stay. The bar and restaurant were also well stocked, with a great selection, making it easy to relax without needing to head elsewhere. The location is fantastic, right in the heart of Kirkcudbright, so it’s a great base for exploring the town and surrounding area. I actually stayed here while cycling the SWC300, and one of the big deciding factors for me was the secure bike locker in the garden. It was brilliant to have somewhere safe and secure to leave the bike overnight, which is a huge bonus for anyone travelling by bike. Overall, a fantastic stay with everything I needed. I’d happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it, particularly to anyone cycling through the area.

The staff is a young lady who is very helpful and friendly. We stayed here for a night to stopover for a Scotland trip. The room is pretty self sufficient yet the shower gel (all in one for shampoo and shower) have used up and didn't being refill before our arrival. I only got half shower and the lady at the reception helped to get another one (she is really helpful). There is hairdryer which is very nice (another hotel that we stayed in doesn't even provide one until we asked for it). The bedsheet got some sort of dirt (something in red) but they at least look white and clean other than that. The room is overall okay for the price and it is not the worse Hotel we have in this trip. They also got a door swing bar which is good. Toilet is clean. Towels are provided. Location is great since there are restaurants around and plenty of choices.

Das Portpatrick Hotel ist ein erstaunliches Gebäude, in und aus. Das zeigt sich natürlich durch die etwas dateiierte Dekoration, aber ich würde mir vorstellen, es ist ein gelistetes Gebäude, und ihre Hände werden an die Änderungen gebunden sein, die sie dazu machen könnten. Für mich fügt es den Charme des Ortes hinzu. Die Zimmer sind sauber und haben genau das, was Sie für einen komfortablen Aufenthalt brauchen. Wenn ich eine Beschwerde hatte, wäre es die Dusche; es war arm und selten warmes Wasser. Ich verstehe das wiederum, weil die Menge der Menschen in einem alten Gebäude. Das hat meinen Aufenthalt nicht beeinträchtigt. Das Hotel ist sehr gut ausgestattet und ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wird sicherlich einen Tag zurückkommen, danke für einen großen Aufenthalt! Phil.

Ich kann nicht zu sehr einen Aufenthalt im Crown Hotel empfehlen. Wir wurden von der Personal warm willkommen, hilfreich, unsere Sachen in unser Zimmer zu nehmen, die alle Einrichtungen hatten, die man erwartet hätte. Das Schlafzimmer und das Badezimmer waren uns nichts angebrachtes und zwar nicht notwendig, aber es sollte eine Raumheizgerät und auch eine tragbare Zimmerkühleinheit zur Verfügung stehen. Es gab große Toiletten im Badezimmer und das gleiche für den Tee-/Kaffee-/Küchenschrank. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe von Westeuropa. Wieder einmal, wenn Sie auf der Suche nach einem Ort in Portpatrick zu bleiben, ist das der Ort, direkt vor dem Meer.

Einfacher Ort, um auf der Autobahn zu stoppen, mit ruhigen und großen Zimmern. Ein wenig alt und verbrannt, aber mehr oder weniger sauber. Verbunden mit einer Autobahn-Rest-Stopp, wo wir auch unser Auto füllen konnten und hätten ein Frühstück bei Mc Donald’s haben können. Hinter dem Hotel, sogar ein wenig Grünland mit einem kleinen See zu entspannen. Für den Preis ist definitiv ein Stopp wert!

Aus dem Außenbereich (Schaffleisch usw.) fragten wir uns, was es wäre, aber wir waren angenehmen überrascht. Wir hatten ein Standardzimmer reserviert, das sauber und gemütlich war mit allen Bieten, Kettle, Tee/Kaffee, Haartrockner. Das Hotel ist sehr freundlich und sehr freundlich, nichts war zu viel Problem. Frühstück könnte Getreide mit Milch oder Joghurt, kocht Frühstück, Toast oder Croissant, große Auswahl und alles frisch und frisch gekocht. Wir hatten das kochierte Frühstück - WOW - dauerte uns den ganzen Tag. Die kleine Stadt Annan, alles, was ich sagen kann, ist, wenn Sie nicht besuchen, Sie werden auf einem Treat verpassen. PS die Schaffling ist für alle Renovierungen, die das Eigentum verbessern. Wir würden gerne einen Tag zurückkehren.

I was greeted as a returning customer but hadn’t been there for 17years  The staff were very friendly and helpful and polite  The service I received was excellent and the food was excellent that I received  The first room I stayed in was a little bit tired but as it’s a single bed room it was more than acceptable  The second night was a different room as I extended my stay and was a superior single and was more in price but I found it to be excellent  A great hotel with great staff and would recommend a stay if you’re passing through Lockerbie or need a hotel base in the area

We had a 2 night break our room was a Queen bed double room and dog friendly as is the hotel.the room was exceptionally clean and warm the bed was extremely comfortable the wardrobes and units gave ample storage and the shower was hot and comfortable to use .there are also tea and coffee making facilities in the room. We ate at the restaurant both nights and breakfast was included also.The quality of all the food was excellent and all staff were very friendly and efficient ,Really enjoyed our stay and would hope to go back in the future

Schönes B&B direkt im Zentrum von Dumfries. Ausgezeichneter Zugang zu vielen Einrichtungen und einen zweiminütigen Spaziergang zum Bahnhof. Trotz seiner Lage bietet Huntingdon eine tolle Nacht Schlaf. Mein Zimmer (die Anlage) war geräumig und stilvoll eingerichtet, mit allen notwendigen Einrichtungen. Es war unerschütterlich sauber. Ein kleiner Grupp war das Fehlen von Schaum in der Dusche - versucht, Shampoo aus dem Boden zu holen ist schwierig in der Zwischen Dusche. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Eier gepflückt großartig. Ich würde diese B&B ausführlich empfehlen.
