Cost wise it was reasonable, and the location is bang in the middle of Plymouth shopping area. Parking is right under the hotel, and check in was quick. Room was very tidy and spacious, and cool enough but no air conditioning., just fan. Staff were all lovely, bar staff, reception and service staff, notably Christopher at breakfast who went out of his way to entertain my little girl. Food wise was OK, but 2 complaints. The breakfast orange juice is not fresh, or it's watered down, not nice. And for evening meal I ordered fish and chips, and it was a SLIVER of fish in batter....which for the cost was ridiculous. The staff were very understanding, but the kitchen should definitely seen a new supplier. Overall, it was a lovely stay and would definitely go back...my gripes are purely for management if they wish to address them for future guests. Recommend.

Again a lovely accommodation. Perfect for our needs. Comfortable and clean. Being welcomed by the local wildlife is always a positive.

Das Hotel ist fantastisch schön und bietet herrliche Zimmer mit einem alten Welt-Charm mit Luxus. Die Lage ist erstaunlich mit der Exeter-Kathedrale in 2 Gehminuten wie der älteste Pub in der Stadt. Das Personal war erstaunlich und so freundlich und professionell. Es gibt viele pubs, Bars, Restaurants und Träger, nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß. Das Hotel hat keinen Parkplatz, so dass Sie in einer Multistory etwa 5-6 Minuten entfernt parkieren müssen, ist aber sicher und sicher.

Wir haben in einem Familienclubzimmer mit unserem 3-jährigen Enkel geblieben. Das Zimmer war riesig mit 3 französischen Türen, die zu einem großen Balkon und einem herrlichen Garten und Meerblick führten. Der erwärmte Pool war wunderschön. Unsere einzigen Nigger wäre, dass aufgrund der freundlichen Natur des Hotels vielleicht natürliche Hundhaare auf der Bar/Essenzimmer & die Dusche hätten von einer tiefen sauberen profitieren können. Aufgrund des Alters des Hotels akzeptieren wir, dass die erforderlichen Upgrades auf laufende Basis erfolgen. Parkplatz war großartig und alle Mitarbeiter waren hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir würden sicher wieder zurückkehren.

The hotel itself was nice; can’t fault it. Our room however, had a weird, stale smell and was off-putting, with no way to ventilate the room by opening the windows, as you cannot open them - A/C is not a natural ventilation. Bed was comfortable, slept perfectly fine, just not nice waking up with the smell, as mentioned before. Breakfast was good, although I’ve had better.

Ein schönes Hotel. Wir hatten eine Executive Suite mit einem King-Size-Bett und es war ein sehr komfortables Schlafen. Das Frühstück war auch lecker mit viel Wahl. Wir würden sicher hier wieder bleiben.

Obsługa była miła i pomocna, napewno polecam ten hotel innym. Bliskość morza jest bardzo dużym plusem.

The hotel and area was fantastic, however, service at the front desk and the restaurant was lacking. We took a long weekend break and were excited to try the beach club, however our experience was dampened by the service. Being made to stand around for 5 minutes, whilst being told we hadn't paid (when we had) was unnecessary and frankly embarrassing. The restaurant was the most disappointing part of the stay. I'm the evening service was slow, followed by having our order wrong twice and also dropped. Breakfast at the restaurant was lacking compared to cheaper hotels that offer continental. Small selection , nothing outstanding. When we ordered a cooked breakfast, it took 30-40 minutes to receive some eggs and pancakes although the restaurant was fairly quiet. However, the room, facilities, and the spa were fantastic. Beautiful and comfortable rooms. The beach club outside was gorgeous. The spa was perfect and treatments were, to quote my partner, 'one of the best massages of my life'. We're unsure if we would come back. Although the facilities were great, the service was mostly subpar and not what we'd expect from a harbour hotel.

Hier war erstmals geblieben, aber erstmals seit OYO es von Mercure übernommen hat. Sehr zentral und gut ausgestattetes Hotel. Sehr hundfreundliches und sehr willkommenes Personal. Nur Beschwerde ist die begrenzte Parkplätze, die £12.50 pro Tag kosten, wenn Sie eine Slot erhalten können. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und sehr sauber. Sicherlich bleiben Sie hier wieder, wenn in der Stadt.

Lovely friendly place next to the river. Plenty of parking facilities just over the bridge which is approx five minute walk.  The room itself is spacious enough although for some may be a little dated. Bed is comfortable with a lovely duvet and pillows. Only downside was the curtains which are not blackout so do let in too much light for me but heyho I still had a reasonable night sleep  To get to the room we stayed in, we had to walk up a spiral staircase which for some people, this could be a struggle as the steps have been assembled quite tightly due to space so make the steps on the small side, there is obviously a handrail so coming down side ways helps.  Breakfast was continental consisting of fruit, cereal, yoghurt ( which was exceptionally tasty) toast etc. An English breakfast was offered at an additional cost but we preferred this option.  All in all a lovely place to stay with friendly welcoming hosts who were on hand to offer advise and assistance should you need it.
