The hotel is in a stunning location, our room was small but comfortable, and the staff were very attentive and helpful. I have one single grouch about this hotel. I had an excellent dinner of fish and chips on our first evening. This was served (as is fairly common in pub restaurants) on top of paper printed with an article about the history of fish and chips. I know that there is paper in the food trade that is permitted for this use, BUT the paper turned into an objectionable mush under my peas and the tartar sauce, breaking into pieces and sticking to the batter of the fish. This is completely unacceptable and unhygienic and I sincerely hope the Cliff Hotel will reconsider and stop what is in any event a totally unnecessary practice. Apart from that it's 10 out of 10 and we would thoroughly recommend the hotel.

Im Hotel angekommen, um zu erfahren, dass wir nicht da waren, da sie voll waren. Nach einem Telefonat wurden wir zu einem Partnerhotel geschickt, um zu erfahren, dass wir auch nicht dort waren, sondern eine neue Wohnung direkt am Meer! ! ! Die Dame, die uns eincheckte, brachte uns zum 5 Minuten entfernten Apartment und wir waren super beeindruckt! ! Wir hatten eine wundervolle Nacht dort, so komfortabel und wir können es uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Es befindet sich im 4. Stock und hatte einen tollen Blick auf das Meer. Parken ist auf der Straße, wo immer Sie einen Platz finden. Am Morgen gingen wir zurück zum Four Seasons für ein herzhaftes kostenloses Frühstück. Nach der anfänglichen Verwirrung waren wir mit unserem Aufenthalt rundum zufrieden.

Sehr grundlegendes Gästehaus. Große Lage. Großer Blick auf das Meer. Wände fühlten sich ein wenig dünn und konnten Gespräche in anderen Zimmern hören.

Very helpful staff. Neat & clean, updated rooms. We had a family room with ample space to move around (1 Queen sized & 2 single beds). It’s a bit remote so had to have dinner in their restaurant. The menu was excellent & there was also an option to order Pizzas for takeaway to eat in the room which we did on our last day. On clear days we had a good walk around the golf course after dinner which was really enjoyable. Gym is small but the pool & steam room were relatively bigger and helped entertain the kids on a rainy day. Overall we would recommend this for 2-3 days short stays.

On checking in we were shown to our room. The room was ample in size. The bed was very comfortable enabling a good nights sleep. The en-suite had been refurbished with a shower. A problem with water pressure was promptly attended to. As we were eating as a group of fourteen, we had pre ordered, and our meals were served speedily all together. Our choices of food were hot and well presented. There was a good choice on the breakfast menu again served without delay. The staff were attentive nothing being too much trouble making for a relaxing stay.

We rented the apartment and one single room. The staff are very friendly. Both place has harbour view. The apartment is not very close to the hotel and there is a 10 minutes walk. But the apartment is very lovely. The only thing is that there are no lifts In either place. Also, the window for the hotel room are very old and has the 2 wood boards instead of the curtains. It is very original, but not really sound proof.

Das war mein vierter Besuch in dieses Hotel, das immer sauber und von freundlichem Personal unterstützt wird. Der Unterkunftsblock ist über den Parkplatz vom Restaurant/Pub gestellt, was bedeutet, dass Sie nicht durch Lärm am Abend gestört werden. Sie können das Hotel ohne durch das einwegige System in Aberystwyth erreichen, wenn Sie wollen, aber das Zentrum ist immer noch in sehr einfachen Spazierweitern. Es wird zweifellos wieder kommen.

I dropped my daughter off at the university and needed a place to stay for a few days. The room was very clean. Coming from the US, I loved the fact that my room had its own private bathroom. The food at the restaurant was also good, even my daughter enjoyed it. All the staff I encountered were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay there again. I stayed in room 1.

I needed a quick night stop on the way to Aberystwyth so this was only going to be a B&B stop. However, points of note are: (1) Friendly staff (2) In need of a good update - rooms OK but clearly in need of TLC (3) Room had a few places of thick dust and cobwebs (4) Hotel in the main had ”stuff” in the corridors and things piled-up in certain rooms which were visible

Lovely hotel, great staff and a wonderful location. However, there really ought to be a warning to guests regarding parking. Car park is 200 yards up a very, very steep hill and walking up with luggage is ”challenging” to even the fittest. Beware!
