There were many other hotels we could have chosen to stay in Kampala but having had such a great experience 4 months ago, we decided to return to the Protea Hotel by Marriott in Kampala. Joan and Charlotte were very good at checking us in quickly. Thank you so much as we were very tired having travelled nearly 20 hours by plane! Maurice, Noah and Rehema were excellent with their customer service by ensuring my mother and I had everything needed for a nice evening. Our room did not have a mini fridge so Maurice suggested he will go and check for a spare one. Maurice brought us one, given the fact that the hotel was almost full. Noah, thank you for all your help in making the tasks I needed completing easier and quick. Maurice, Noah and Rehema thank you for your great hospitality. You were all so kind. Jasper, Sampson and Issac looked after us when we were having diner in our room and made sure we had what we needed by being so quick with their service. They had to run to the kitchen back and forth and were very efficient although they were all very busy that night. In the morning, the breakfast buffet was great with a big variety of food choices. The chef on the night duty made some Poha upon our request, thank you for doing that for us. The Poha was delicious and so were the Indian pakoras. Chef Godfrey made beautiful omelettes as we wanted and went beyond his time to fulfil my mother's need with the chillies. Derrick made us teas the way we liked and the teas were perfect. Cissy and Aisha thank you for your kindness and service. Sharon it was lovely to see you and wish you all the best. The buffet was a mixture of continental and cooked breakfast with a couple of ”chef's speciality of the day” which were delicious! Well worth the money. Samuel, thank you for your speedy checkout and your advice. Thank you all again for your kindness and making another stay wonderful. We will miss you all but promise to return again in the near future. Each one of you have contributed to another great stay and made it even more special, you were all very friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The quality of each of you was very impressive. With regards to the hotel, it was great to see some improvements to the room. The bed was very comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud :) The room was very clean, spacious and the new decor was superb. However the shower gel needs to be changed back to the old style one as the new gel is so runny like water and not soapy at all! Also, the WiFi was a bit slow this time and got cut a few times. Still giving 5 out of 5 stars as each member of the staff were amazing and professional with their duties. Can not wait to see the refurbished version of the hotel in months to come :)

Visited this beautiful hotel whilst on a business trip to Kampala. The hotel lives up to all the values and services one can relate to with Hilton hotels. The clean and chic, amazing food in the restaurant and a very comfortable lounge like atmosphere. Did surpass my expectations in a pleasant manner as I was immediately recognised as a valuable returning guest to the hotel. Kudos to the leadership!

My friends and I enjoyed the place and we had a good time. We were well served by Emmanuel who left a smile on our faces. They have many sitting places but the Kololo bar lounge has a beautiful view with a cool breeze and beautiful scenery. They keep the place clean and we saw them changing pillows. Emmanuel gave us the best service as he was hospitable, fun and full of smile. I would recommend the place to anyone and come again.

Und das ist, bevor Sie zu der reichlich verbreiteten. Ja, der Wert für Geld für eine Kundenstürze ist eine offene Frage, vor allem für einen Senioren mit disziplinierten Palast, aber dann vielleicht noch einmal, dass Senioren nicht mehr über ein paar Tausend Schilling.

Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und das Essen ist immer frisch und schmeckt. Hier ist der erste Ort, um sehr ausgewogenes Essen zu essen, das nicht Ölig und zu gepickt ist. Das Front-Desk Team ist erstaunlich. Noeline und Yohanna sind einfach die besten. Ich werde nicht zögern, immer wieder zu kommen.

Ein sehr komfortables Hotel - ruhig, unverschämt, klimatisierte Zimmer, die schöne Balkone mit erstaunlichen Blicken auf den See haben. Die Boden sind schön mit einem schönen Pool, und Pfad und Bänke entlang der Wasserfront, wo Sie sitzen und schauen Fuß Königfischer, Fische Eagles, Herons und andere Vögel. Das Hotel- und Restaurantpersonal ist erschreckend - willkommen, professionell und sehr effektiv. Eine besondere Erwähnung geht an die Leute, die in der Waschmaschine arbeiten - unsere Kleidung kam besser zurück als neu. Frühstück ist Buffet-Stil mit Eiern gekocht, um zu bestellen. Die gebackenen Waren, warme Gerichte und frische Früchte waren alle schön zubereitet und sehr geschmackvoll. Die Essenspazier ist angenehm mit schatten oder sonnigen Tischen verfügbar am meisten Tag. Im Lobby gibt es einige nützliche kleine Geschäfte, darunter ein mit einer guten Auswahl an lokalen Handwerksbetrieben. Wir genossen wirklich unseren Aufenthalt hier - es fühlte sich sehr zu Hause und es machte eine perfekte Basis für unsere Reisen zu sehen die Shoebills, Gray Krone Cranes, und andere Vögel von Mabamba Swamp und in die Botanische Gärten für reiches Vogelleben, und schöne Schwarz und Weiß Colobus Affen.

Koki hotel is in central Kampala. It's a prime location being so close to many banks, the market and the taxi buses to get to other parts of Uganda. So location is 10/10. Customer service is also first class. I was served by Juliet who reserved me a room as I was checking in at night. The room itself was excellent - tea and coffee check, water bottles check , AC and big screen Tv check, fridge check, iron and ironing board check. The only thing missing was a safety deposit box for my valuables. But the hotel itself was secure. The next morning I was too tired to go to breakfast so for 10k ($3) I got breakfast in bed. And a good buffet it was too. All in all a wonderful relaxing time in a suppers value for money hotel in central Kampala. I will mow def stay here in all my future trips to Uganda. Every staff member I met was courteous and welcoming. Congrats Koki hotel.... you have every right to be cocky !!!! :)

The staff were helpful from the moment I booked, answering many questions and making changes to my booking easily. My airport transfer was arranged by the hotel for my 2am arrival and was a safe ride to the hotel. The suite was really spacious with a great shower, a small kitchenette, iron and iron board all supplied. The restaurant on the top floor has a roof top terrace with a magnificent view over the city and was a highlight of each morning and evening. Breakfast was substantial and varied each day.

Out of all the hotels that I stayed at in Uganda, this one stood out like a gem. Quality was amazing, absolutely no issues. Staff is super friendly and resolves everything in seconds. Immaculately clean. Has the best view out of all hotels in Uganda, would really recommend this hotel if you are travelling to Entebbe. Service is awesome and this hotel has everything you could want for a nights stay. I wouldn’t encourage this if you want the sort of hotels with activities and loads of stuff to do at daytime, but if you want quality nightlife and a great sleep, this would be the one to chose. I had a great experience here and I hope that if you chose it, you will also have a terrific time!

There was lots that I loved about this hotel. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the location is great (attached to the mall and opposite the craft centre). The food was very good, the rooms were stylish and well equipped (excellent hot shower, wifi, TV, hairdryer, balcony) and the complimentary airport transfer was much appreciated. I had chosen this hotel principally for its swimming pool which was beautiful. But I discovered that this is also used by locals at weekends. There were various soundboxes (all competing to be the loudest!), and children and groups jumping in and being very noisy. This felt like a public pool, not a hotel pool, and not a place where hotel guests can relax. I have no problem with locals using the pool, but feel that Best Western should maintain the standards displayed in the hotel. I was also unlucky to not sleep well due to a great deal of noise until after 1am from guests in the corridor/lobby, I assume from a late night in the bar.

Aufenthalt hier und ich genossen es sehr wie üblich, die Lebensmittel-Website ist sehr gut und sehr erschwinglich und es gibt Alkohol auch verfügbar zu kaufen, der Shuttle zum und zurück vom Flughafen ist sehr bequem und die Lage perfekt, wenn Sie ruhig mögen. und schöne Umgebung, besondere Dank geht aus Joseph & seine Familie, und vor allem Katie, die immer Service mit einem Lächeln bietet.

Nach meinen Erfahrungen hier würde ich nicht anderswo wählen! Sie gehen über und darüber hinaus, um Ihre Zeit in Entebbe sicher, gesund, komfortabel, einfach zu handhaben Dinge wie Reiten, finden Sie leckere Nahrung (sowohl auf der Lage und aus und um), finden Sie, wo Transaktionen zu machen, um Uganda Schillings zu empfangen, und mehr! Es gibt Bildschirme in den Fenstern, die meisten Zimmer haben AC-Einheiten, es gibt ein paar Zimmer mit zwei Doppelbetten und ein Doppelbett (dass das Aufenthalt mit einer Familie so viel einfacher macht), Tische usw. Alle Uganda behandelt mit Stromausfällen und niedrigem Wasserdruck zuweilen; Exekutiv Flughafen Hotel macht ihr Bestes, um jede Frage mit einem Generator und Bäcken Wasser für schnellere Fluss zu bekämpfen. Personal ist respektvoll und freundlich zu ALL, wir konnten nicht mehr fragen! Sehr empfohlen!
