Tolle Unterkunft und geräumiges Zimmer. Wir checkten spät ein und der Schlüssel war kaputt. Die dort arbeitende Person kümmerte sich sofort um uns, obwohl es außerhalb der Öffnungszeiten und spät am Abend war.

My friends and I had a great stay at The Bealey Quarter! The motel is situated in Christchurch City, allowing easy access to the tourist sites, whether you're travelling on foot, by car, or by public transport. There are plenty of buses and metro buses that frequently stop right near the accommodation as well! The staff were very friendly. We had a late flight (that got delayed even later) and ended up having to check in after hours. They were very accommodating with this, and similarly, when we asked for new towels, we received them immediately. Similarly, they were kind enough to allow us to put our luggage in their reception office whilst we went to collect our rental car on the day that we checked out. My only issue is that I had to contact them a few times before I received the late check-in details. The facilities were lovely. and very clean! The bathroom was private with a shower with good pressure and hot water. The bench and the toilet were a little high, which we were surprised by, but this wasn't a major issue at all! My only recommendation would be to add a ventilation fan to the bathroom, as although there is an open window above the sink, ventilation was still not ideal. The room came with a heater, a really good fan, and very comfy blankets and duvets. We were also provided with glasses and mugs, a selection of tea, coffee, and hot chocolate, a hair dryer, a bin, a little cupboard, desk, chair, and even a bench where our suitcases fit really well. The view of the courtyard was beautiful despite the somewhat miserable weather, and access to the courtyard via the back door meant we could use the hammocks in the nice grassy area :) The back door was a bit tough to open, and we had to actually get the staff to show us how to use it. My only other qualm is that there is no potable water in the rooms themselves. Instead, our keycard allows us to the Lodge (I believe the hostel area), where there's a kitchen and we can fill up. Overall, we had a great experience here and I definitely recommend the Bealey Quarter to anyone coming to Christchurch. It was so affordable too :)) I didn't get many good photos but here you go!

Ich habe dort ein paar Mal geblieben. Freundliches Personal, saubere Zimmer und ich hatte ein schönes ruhiges Zimmer. Ich werde dort wieder bleiben.

Ich war ein wenig enttäuscht. Ich erwartete, dass dies ein 5-Sterne-Platz sein würde, aber es gab viele Dinge, die sicherlich nicht 5-Sterne waren. Die Kleider waren grau und bedeckten nicht mehr größere Leute. Einer von ihnen hatte alles überholt, ich wollte es nicht einmal tragen. Die Badezimmertür schüttete laut, so wenn eine Person in der Mitte der Nacht auf die Toilette kam, er wachte die andere Person auf. Es gab Anweisungen, wie man das Spabad verwenden, aber nicht, wie man den Schlauch in. Es war nicht nur schlauch in normal. Wir konnten es nicht auf unsere erste Nacht verwenden, die sehr frustrierend war, da es eine unserer Hauptattraktionen war. Ich rang Hausaufbewahrung am nächsten Tag. Jemand kam und sah und sagte, dass Sie eine Knopfschale auf der Seite des Spa drehen müssen, wie würde jemand das wissen? Der Schließer auf der Tür nach draußen war gebrochen und ein kleiner Schiebeschleiß war aufgestellt. Warum nicht den Hauptschließer reparieren? Ich habe die Toiletten an der Seite der Bibliothek verwendet und als ich meine Hände gewaschen, war der Tape alle los und gebockt rund. Alle diese Dinge sind klein, aber zeigen, dass die Unterkunft Dinge zu haben, beheben oder aktualisiert. Für $300 pro Nacht, erwarten Sie das Beste. Das schlimmere war am letzten Morgen, wir haben um 8:45 Frühstück, das Restaurant schließt um 9:30 Uhr. Es gab kontinentale und geschrotet Eier und Bacon. Um 9:00 Uhr halten sie auf, noch mehr Brot zum Toast zu bringen. Es gab etwa 6 Tische mit Gästen und jeder ließ sich auf und prüfte, aber sie füllten nicht wieder. Die Leute sagten, sie müssen aus Essen gelaufen! Aber aus irgendeinem Grund hielt der Betreuer die Schleifen an den Eiern und Bacon auf, um zu sehen, was dort war, aber natürlich gab es nichts, als er es nicht wieder füllt hatte und er war der einzige Betreuer!! Ich war wirklich enttäuscht und würde es nicht empfehlen, es sei denn, Sie erhalten einen wirklich guten Rabatt.

Wir haben 3 Nächte geblieben. Lage ist wunderbar. 3 min zu Fuß bis Regent Street, wo wir unsere Mahlzeiten für 3 Tage direkt aßen. Neue moderne Vibe. Aber während der 3 Nächte gibt es jeden Abend wenige Minen von Stromausfall, Schock im Zimmer. Was sind die Chancen? Ich frage den Counter, aber sie hv keine Erklärung.

Obwohl es sich um ein Kapselhotel handelt, verfügt es über einen eigenen, unabhängigen Raum. Unter dem Bett befindet sich ein Schließfach zum Aufbewahren von Dingen, und es bietet Platz für einen ganzen großen Trolley-Koffer. Das Restaurant ist Selbstbedienungsrestaurant mit Töpfen und Pfannen, sodass Sie Ihr eigenes Essen zubereiten können. Die Umgebung ist sehr komfortabel, es gibt Sofas, Hängematten und Schaukeln.

Das Zimmer war sauber und komfortabel, das Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit während unseres Aufenthalts. Das Frühstück war angemessen, mit einer angemessenen Auswahl zum Beginn des Tages. Die Lage war bequem und die Einrichtungen wurden gut gepflegt. Ein paar kleine Nachteile waren, dass erstmals das Flaschenwasser im Zimmer nicht geliefert wurde, und Parkplätze kosteten einen zusätzlichen $20 pro Nacht, was wäre schön gewesen, zu haben. Insgesamt ist ein angenehmer Aufenthalt und ich würde glücklich überlegen, hier nochmal zu bleiben.

We are couple with a 5 year old girl. We paid SGD697.85 (Singapore dollar) for staying 2 nights in this “2 bedroom apartment” as stated. 3 points here to explain the terrible experience. 1. tv remote is not working. I don’t mind the owner making excuse like “ replied customer’s message within 20mins…..” but they actually took 29mins to reply (19:10 till 19:39). In fact, they didn’t manage to change the tv remote in the end. So I stayed 2 nights without using the TV! 2.there is no clear and obvious description that this “2 bedroom apartment” is actually an adjoining unit which means when u walked into the front door then there are 2 doors link to split parts of the apartment. The problem of adjoining units are thin walls are used to split the apartment into 2 small units. When u stay in this kind of apartment, u have to endure all kind of noises from whoever staying in neighboring rooms. We had 2 days enduring guesting from the other room shouting, slamming the door, kids screaming like crazy both early in the morning and afternoon! 3. When I reflect this bad experience with trip.com customer service, this hotel responded like they have no fault at all and played with words. This attitude makes us feel like being fooled. We paid money to expect to stay in an apartment with privacy and quiet environment but indeed we had such a bad experience! In this market, if it’s an adjoining unit, they should not charge at the rate as if it’s an entire apartment. I’m alright that they rejected to refund the extra amount they charged. Just have to reflect the facts in the review. Thanks.

Das Hotel liegt direkt im Stadtzentrum. Die Kirche gegenüber dem Hotel wurde gerade renoviert, als ich dort war. Es war schwierig, den Hotelparkplatz zu finden. Ich musste mehrmals umrunden.

This hotel stay was an absolute delight, offering the perfect blend of convenience, stunning views, and high-quality amenities. The location right by the waterfront was simply breathtaking, and the proximity to the whale watching center was an added bonus. While the unit was on the second floor, which required carrying our luggage upstairs, the view from the elevated position was well worth it. There was also the option of requesting a ground floor unit if stairs are a concern. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, with clear instructions provided and a designated key return box for added convenience. Having an assigned parking space just outside the unit was also a thoughtful touch. But the true highlight of this hotel stay was the shower. The water pressure and temperature control were absolutely perfect, making for a luxurious and refreshing experience. And being able to watch the sunrise from the unit was the icing on the cake. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a tranquil, waterfront retreat with top-notch amenities and stunning views. The combination of the convenient location, well-appointed unit, and exceptional shower made this an unforgettable stay.
