"Das Hotel hier ist nett. Das Gebiet ist schlecht, aber das ist zu erwarten, wenn Sie in ein ländliches Gebiet reisen. Wenn Sie ankommen, werden Sie sofort unter Druck gesetzt, eine Tour zu kaufen. Der Preis, den ich angeboten wurde, war $100 für zwei Personen. Die Tour war von 8-4. Sie bringen Sie zu allen Orten, die für uns gut waren. Wir hatten eine unbehagliche Erfahrung am zweiten Tag unserer Tour (die über das Hotel gebucht wurde) es sollte nur $80 für einen halben Tag, wo sie uns dann zum Flughafen nehmen, sondern am Ende er uns $95 in der lokalen Währung. Insgesamt würde ich das Hotel empfehlen, aber keine Notwendigkeit, mit ihnen eine Tour zu buchen."

"Es dauerte zwei Zimmer. Es fühlte sich, es gab nur eine im Hotel. Frühstück wurde auf einem kleinen Menü bestellt, die Wahl ist nicht groß, aber für den Morgen ist genug. Lage ist ein wenig von der Stadt entfernt, auf einer kleinen Höhe. Ein schöner Ort, sehr vorsichtiges Gebiet. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel, angenehmen Balkone mit Möbeln. Alles, was Sie in den Zimmern brauchen, ist verfügbar. Wir mögen es."

"Pukyo is a 5-room B&B run by David who is a very friendly and helpful host. We got a room on the ground floor which was excellent for my husband who does not walk well let alone climb stairs. It was a big family room with a king-sized double bed and 2 singles. There is an ensuite bathroom with a very good hot-water heater. The bathroom floor gets wet and slippery after the shower but there is an anti-slip mat and Daivd knows about the problem which he is going to fix this summer. The aircon is very powerful and there's also a wall fan as an option. There's also a small TV but we did not use it. The B&B is about 4 min from the airport and less than 10 from town. David will take you to town for dinner in his comfortable van and wait for you. He very kindly bought dinner back for us the 2nd night as my husband was too tired to go out. There's a fridge stocked with beers and drinks and a water dispenser in the living area. We had wonderful chats with David who is a great font of knowledge and felt like we were staying with a friend rather than a commercial lodging. There are mosquitoes in the evening but David sells lemongrass -scented repellent for 11,000LAK - very effective also for outdoor tours. David has a outdoor seating area at the back and it's a very peaceful and pleasant place for breakfast or a beer at sundown. We thoroughly enjoyed our time with David."
