The room and the Onsen were EXACTLY like those in the listing and were absolutely stunning! The breakfast was delicious and the range more than adequate. The location is good if you drive but is about 1km walk to Beppu Tower and a bit more from the night street. But I’d happily trade that for the spacious room and the wonderful sea and sunrise view.

It’s the third time we came to Yufuin. Previously, we stayed in onsen hotels with meals provided. This time we are staying for 2 months in Japan to experience the local life, and Yufuin was our third stop, where we stayed for 6 nights. The service is top notch. The host responded very quickly whenever I had queries, and very clear instructions for free pick-up were given days before check-in. As we stepped in the house, the air- conditioner had already been turned on there were 3 big bottles of water in the fridge which made us feel so welcome. They collected our trash every day and asked us what we needed. The guesthouse is an independent unit full of beautiful Japanese decorations. It was sparkling clean and thoughtfully furnished with everything you need. A first-aid box was provided. We were given 12 sets of clean towels and toilet amenities, including toothbrushes. We have stayed in different apartments before and have never experienced this. More importantly, the kitchen was well equipped with everything—many cutlery items of different sizes and even wine glasses. There were a hot pot and a frying pan, a toaster, rice cooker, coffee machine, and even a dishwasher. You can't imagine there is even a massage chair! The bathroom was designed like an onsen. You can simply add some onsen powder to enjoy a hot bath. You can easily access different attractions on foot. The location is about a 20-minute walk to the nearby supermarkets, 25 minutes to the main shopping streets, and 30 minutes to the JR station. If you drive, it is even easier. For us, we enjoyed walking and seeing the beautiful scenery, so it was not a problem for us even though we didn’t drive. Every day we walked to the supermarkets and bought fresh produce to cook. We had so much fun making different dishes and hot pot. When we asked for a whetstone, the host quickly gave us theirs, and the next day, they bought us a new one. They even gave us sake as a gift. On the day of check-out, the host drove us to the JR station and helped us store our luggage in the visitors’ centre. Next time when we come to Yufuin, we will definitely stay here again. It’s really great value for money.

1. Aufgrund der geografischen Lage können Sie den Bahnhof Beppu innerhalb von 5 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen, was eine bequeme Anreise ermöglicht. 2. Das Hotel wurde 2021 neu eröffnet. Die Ausstattung ist sehr neu, die Zimmer relativ groß und mit smarter Ausstattung ausgestattet. Die große Thermalquelle ist zwar insgesamt relativ klein, befindet sich aber im 14. Stock. Man kann dort baden während Sie die Nachtansicht betrachten. 3. Zum Frühstück können Sie ein japanisches Frühstück genießen, das ebenfalls köstlich ist.

What a blast I had here!!! I only stayed for one night and now I wish I had stayed longer. It was a Friday so Rio, the owner, organizes a night of games at the public gymnasium for teenagers (who although growing up already have the strength of super-powered samurais) and whoever else wants to participate. I haven't run and wake up with so many bruises since high school! It was really cool how everyone is quick to set the props for each game, we played 4 or 5 games in one hour!!!! It felt like a much longer time, everyone gave their best presence and participation all the time! It seems the other nights he takes everyone for a walk to see the stars, and Tuesdays there's also volleyball. Anyways, he is pretty proactive and creative , so I'm sure there's many variations and possibilities! The living room is very pretty, the sofas super comfortable and the view gorgeous! The bed was very hard :/ this was the only big issue for me. The onsen is so cozy, the water super smooth and instrumental music playing. Delicious! The conditioner smells great! I was a bit worried that they had too many rules, because when I contacted they informed about the need to leave the house everyday from 10 until 16. And that the eating time was very specific: 7:20 in the morning and 7 at night... So I was worried they would be too strict...but there's no need to join the food. I had breakfast and it felt like it would be at the communal dinning of beauxbatons, everyone sitting closeby with identical very beautifully presented meals that come in many quantity but small portions. It is not my jam, but for sure it is special! Some informations could be a bit more clear because they are a bit slow responding. For example they have a pick up time in front of the army at 6pm. I asked info for an amazing lady at the Art Center inside the station, Chika, and she called them. She ended up taking me herself and was the best company I could have found! She is an artist, we went to the supermarket and had great conversation! I recommend going to the art center to say hi to Chika! Lots of love, thank youuu Mountain Mamas!!!

Das wenige Gehminuten vom Nordausgang des Bahnhofs Oita gelegene Haus bietet wie meines Wissens alle Hotels dieser Kette eine Vielzahl kleiner Zusatzangebote, die einen Aufenthalt hier abrunden. Besonders das im Dachgeschoss gelegene Onsen sei hier erwähnt, welches nach anstrengenden Ausflügen in die Umgebung der Stadt für Entspannung sorgt.

This is our 2nd time to stay in this hotel. The 1st time was 10 years ago, the hotel guest rooms have renovated which is quite Modern. Love the new design. The Seaview is still spectacular. Bed and pillow are very comfortable. Onsan is located at basement , an highlight is there is Basket Robins ice cream machine is available 🙂 There is a night drink bar in the hotel at the lobby level, wines , coffee, soft drinks are served. Breakfast area is spacious , western & Japanese food are served, donuts, pancakes , noodles, vege drinks , all you can choose.

Das Hotel wird erst im Oktober 2023 eröffnet, daher ist es so neu und sauber. Da das gesamte Hotel mit Tatami ausgelegt ist, müssen Sie Ihre Schuhe an der Tür ausziehen und in den Schuhschrank legen. Was das Gepäck betrifft, hilft das Hotelpersonal den Gästen beim Abwischen des Gepäcks, um Flecken auf der Tatami zu vermeiden. Das Doppelzimmer vermittelt ein großzügiges Raumgefühl und kann vollständig geöffnet und bepackt werden. Die Toilette und der Duschraum sind getrennt, sodass bei zwei Personen einer das Waschbecken und der andere die Toilette benutzen kann. Es gibt einen weiteren Hocker und einen kleinen Tisch im Zimmer. Erwähnenswert ist, dass genügend USB-Differenzspannungen vorhanden sind, 2 auf jeder Seite des Bettes. Im Kühlschrank stehen den Gästen 2 Flaschen Wasser und 2 Schachteln Gelee mit Erdbeergeschmack zur Verfügung. Es gibt auch Kaffee- und Teebeutel. Im Zimmer finden Sie grundlegende Badezimmerutensilien wie Shampoo, Spülung, Zahnpasta, Zahnbürste und Kamm. Im 13. Stock befinden sich die heißen Quellen und Männer und Frauen können getrennt baden. Es gibt einen Außen- und einen Innenpool. Es gibt auch 8 private Suppen. Da viele Leute auf die private Suppe warteten, hatte ich keine Gelegenheit, sie zu probieren. Nachdem Sie in den heißen Quellen gebadet haben, können Sie abends im Ruhebereich Eis am Stiel essen und morgens die wohltuende Wirkung genießen. Um 22:00 Uhr können Sie im Restaurant im ersten Stock Ramen genießen. Heiße Getränke wie Schokolade, Matcha Latte und Kaffee sind ebenfalls in der Lobby erhältlich. Das Frühstück ist ein japanisches Buffet, so reichhaltig! Das Besondere ist, dass Sie Ihren eigenen Fischreis zubereiten können!

Es ist ein Hotel im japanischen Gartenstil, sehr schön. Die Lage ist auch sehr gut, direkt hinter Ghost Mountain Hell. Es gibt 6 höllisch heiße Quellen, die zu Fuß erreichbar sind. Das Zimmer ist super groß, mit einem kleinen Innenhof und zwei privaten heißen Quellen im Innen- und Außenbereich. Die heißen Quellen sind großartig und die Privatsphäre der heißen Quellen im Freien ist in Ordnung. Nachts ist die Umgebung sehr ruhig. Tagsüber hört man die Geräusche der Reisegruppe von der Guishan Hot Spring, die etwas laut ist. Der Hotelservice ist sehr aufmerksam. Der Begrüßer an der Tür wird Ihnen Ihren Namen nennen. Eine entsprechende chinesische Rezeptionistin wird Ihnen beim Einchecken behilflich sein. Sie werden auch nach der Zeit für das Frühstück am zweiten Tag gefragt Zwei Möglichkeiten: 7:30 und 9 Uhr. Wenn Sie im Hotel zu Abend essen möchten, müssen Sie im Voraus reservieren. Das Hotelpersonal fragte uns geduldig, ob wir Meeresfrüchte-Allergien hätten . Die Portion der Kaiseki-Küche ist recht groß, sodass man nicht satt wird😄. Beim Frühstück handelt es sich nicht um ein Buffet, sondern um eine separate Mahlzeit. Sie können zwischen japanischem Frühstück und westlichem Frühstück wählen. Obwohl wir uns für eine einfache Reinigung entschieden haben, hat das Hotel für uns dennoch sehr gut gereinigt. Täglich werden 6 Flaschen Mineralwasser bereitgestellt, was recht großzügig ist. Der einzige Nachteil ist, dass der Kosmetikspiegel keinen Strom hat und das LED-Licht nicht leuchtet. Wenn die Toilette im Badezimmer gespült wird, macht das Urinal daneben ein lautes Geräusch, was besonders nachts sehr beängstigend ist😅. Alles in allem ist es ein tolles Hotel mit ein paar Mängeln, aber ich werde beim nächsten Besuch in Beppu trotzdem dort übernachten.

Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist hervorragend, das Zimmer ist geräumig und beinhaltet Frühstück für zwei Erwachsene, inklusive Reis und einer vegetarischen Option für die Kinder. Wäsche waschen ist während des Aufenthalts kostenlos für 300 Yen und das Hotel liegt in der Nähe von Donki.
