This hotel was a fall back for me I’m glad I chose to go here after a disappointing hotel I arrived to originally and I should have booked here first. Hotel is located centrally and close to local bars and shopping areas. The members of staff I met were all lovely and very helpful! The room was spotless. The only issues I had was there was no shampoo just shower gel and the heating in the room didn’t get to full temp but at this time of year the heating was not a huge deal! I stayed in room 201 so it was situated close to the lift but was far enough away to not be disturbed by the sound of it. Will be staying here again

Booked this hotel to attend conference nearby. Loved the Signature room, which was big with seating area. Complimentary bottle of wine, or substitute with bottles of non-alcoholic drinks was nice touch. Pastries provided at the lounge made for quick and easy breakfast option. Enjoyed the swimming pool, jet pool, sauna and hot steam room in the Health club. Area around Resort is also very big, walking along the woodlands trail to the Golf club was therapeutic. Stay Signature room, worth the additional upgrade.

I did not really sleep well as the room was so cold and I had to get a large towel from the bathroom to put over the quilt to keep me warm. But the breakfast was nice thank you.

Honestly, I’m not even gonna lie Mercure Hotel in Newport is such a wonderful place! From the moment we arrived, the receptionist who attended to us was super lovely. She explained everything about our voucher clearly, and even when we had to go back downstairs to ask her something (because I wasn’t really paying attention but my man was 😅), she was still so patient and kind. The whole experience was amazing. I had a really great night the bed was super comfy, the food and dinner at the lounge were delicious, and the service throughout was top-notch. Breakfast the next morning was also soooo good! The hotel was spotless, the vibe was calm, and everything felt just perfect. I genuinely recommend Mercure Newport to anyone planning to stay in the area. Whether you’re visiting or you already live in Newport, you have to experience how clean, luxurious, and peaceful it is. It’s such a relaxing and cozy environment! 🖤✨

Half hour from Cardiff. Easy car access with friendly staff and a good breakfast and air conditioning in a comfortable room. There’s food available at the hotel, but a super pub in Marshfield the Masons Arms which is 5 mins from the coastal walk.

Zimmer, Badezimmer mittelgroß, sauber, Fenster können geöffnet werden, Bett komfortabel, WiFi gut. Es gibt einen Windschutzscheibe, es gibt einen Kleidungskabine, keine Kopfwaschmittel, Spülmittel, TV. Fünf Zimmer sind mit einer Küche geteilt, einem Backofen, einem Mikrowellenschrank, einem Kühlschrank, einem Speisetisch, einem kleinen Geschirr usw. Es gibt einen Lidl Supermarkt in der Nähe und das Leben ist bequem. Nahe dem Zentrum der Stadt kann man 10 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Es ist etwas weit von der Newport-Bahnstation entfernt und es dauert etwa 20 Minuten zu Fuß zum Hotel.

Großes Zimmer, großes Personal und große Lage im Herzen von Caerleon. Auch hat eine der besten Restaurants in der Umgebung. Sehr empfehlenswert

Ich habe vor kurzem in diesem Hotel für eine Konferenz am ICC geblieben, und ich muss sagen, dass dieser Ort in Bezug auf die Sauberkeit und Freundlichkeit des Personals großartig war. Ich werde hier nochmal für zukünftige Reisen bleiben! Der Spaziergang zum ICC könnte besser sein, da Sie viele Verkehrsleuchten überqueren müssen, aber das ist für den Rat zu beheben! Das Frühstück war auf dem Weg!

Bequeme Lage des Hotels für das nahegelegene ICC-Konventszentrum. Personal war hilfreich und Zimmer waren sauber und ruhig. Klimaanlage war ursprünglich beim Erleben der Wärmewelle, aber das wurde fest und fühlte sich später kühler. Das Frühstück und die Mahlzeiten im Restaurant waren gut mit einer Vielzahl von Auswahlmöglichkeiten. Zimmer-WLAN war schwach und fällt häufig aus und konnte verbessert werden.

Some of the frontline staff charged me a different card payment than the booking agent had agreed to. This made me feel very confused. Fortunately, their senior management, Mr. Deepy, listened patiently to my explanation and understood my discounted room rate. He explained everything clearly and eased my worries. After a few days, the card was finally charged correctly.
