The hotel was very reasonably priced as we didn't want to stay in Edinburgh as it's not worth the money. The room was spacious enough. The electric heater on the wall took time to figure out. Maybe a guide on how to work it could be left at the table. The bathroom was clean and spacious. The bed was comfortable. The TV was big but not all stations worked. The room despite having a few lights still felt very dark. The breakfast was lovely. The seating area felt crammed into eachother. They should use the seating area at the bar as well for breakfast to rectify this. Would I stay here again? I would, yes as long as they keep the price reasonable and with a free breakfast.

Das Hotel war sauber, aber ich reservierte ein Doppelbettzimmer, um mit meiner Schwester zu teilen trip.com und als ich bezahlt und eine Bestätigung erhalten habe, dass es ein Doppelzimmer ist es nicht rückzahlbar . Als ich das Hotel kontaktierte, sagten sie, weil sie keine zwei Zimmer zur Verfügung hatten, kehrte sie die Buchung in das System zu verdoppeln. Ich kontaktierte trip.con um die Buchung zu stornieren, sie sagten, es sei nicht rückzahlbar Buchung, Ich erklärte, es war ihr System, das den Fehler gemacht hat und nicht mich, der Agent sagte, ich werde das Hotel kontaktieren und prüfen, ob sie eine Rückzahlung akzeptieren können, Sie sagte wieder, dass sie abgelehnt haben und trip.com konnte nicht helfen. Ich war wütend und ich musste auf dem Sofa Bett gehen und das war unbehaglich auch die Heizung machte etwas schlafendes Sound, da ich ein leichter Schlafer ich überhaupt nicht richtig schlafen konnte.

A lovely building and entrance, including a lovely garden and fountain. Very clean and classy, reception staff friendly and helpful. Room was fantastic, so modern and clean with plenty of floor space and storage. Big smart tv, hair dryer, iron and board, free mini toiletries, tea/coffee, full length mirror…couldn’t have asked for more at such a reasonable price for the room! Only thing was the room felt extremely hot when I first checked in (even though radiator was not on). I asked at reception if I could have a fan as windows barely open and a few minutes later it was brought to my room! Restaurant and bar great, breakfast lovely…highly recommend this hotel

Chambres spacieuses eh moderned, lits confortables. Ménage régulier , petit déjeuner salé à commander dans le restaurant, prix très corrects en restauration, personnel aimable. Pas de sèche cheveux et prévoir bonnet de bain car le pommeau de douche est haut et fixe. Hôtel très calme et bien isolé. Rapport qualité prix excellent

Decided to have a night out to a hotel to escape the house, and bought this trip last minute over Xmas. Loved the hotel, we had a great view of the bridges from our room.
We didn't try the food but the bar is pretty cheap considering it's a Doubletree location. Only around £5 a pint.

Good and delicious full breakfast. Wonderful service, the hotel staffs are nice and helpful. We have hired a car Skoda which we are not quite familiar with. We ask the hotel officer for help to tune the rear mirror. Even they are also have no idea of this car, they try the best to find out the way. Thank you for their kind help and great effort 👍👍👍

Schönes und gut ausgestattetes Hotel in Holzboden am Ende einer langen Fahrt. Gutes Doppelzimmer mit allem, was nötig EXCEPT ein anständiges WiFi-Signal.
Es ist ein altes Rambo-Gebäude und das hat vielleicht zu einem schlechten Signal beigetragen, sowohl für WLAN als auch für Mobilfunk. Das war ein bisschen ein Schmerz, aber nicht einmal ein Problem, mich wieder aus dem Aufenthalt zu lassen, wenn ich durch die Gegend passiere.

GGastnutzerRoom as lovely & very close to the centre of town however this means that it is noisy with people out at night.
My main issue was the shower it was a nightmare, either scalding hot or freezing cold with absolutely no pressure. Couldn’t actually use it as it was so bad. So if you want to have a shower then I’d take this into consideration when booking.

GGuest UserSehr nett. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren dort zu schlafen, um nach Edinburgh zu gehen für die Festivals. 5 Minuten zu Fuß vom Bahnhof. Kann man problemlos alle Geschmacksrichtungen in der großen Stadt genießen. Gut genug Frühstück. Ein paar Tassen, also nehmen Sie Ihre eigene Schale zum Frühstücksraum.
