A short 1 night stay while visiting friends nearby. In short the location, service, & breakfast were all good, but the hotel building is need of some work. It's a lovely period property in the style that is expected with creaking floorboards, sash windows, and curious corridors leading to uniquely shaped rooms. The single room was compact and had been somewhat modernised, the bed was comfortable and clean, but sadly that didn't extend into the bathroom/shower-room that needed some work. Perhaps most noticably there are many simple things that would bring the room fully up to scratch such as sorting out the grouting in the bathroom, replacing the noisy extractor fan, removing mould from around the bathroom ceiling, replacing the dirty net curtain on the window, washing the carpet regularly & hoovering more carefully. Similarly with the front of the building, give all the painted areas a refresh, peeling paint is not a good first impression when parking the car. The full scottish breakfast was cooked to order and delicious. Hopefully if I do return on a visit next year the owners will have made some improvements to the building as it could be a lovely hotel with much higher review scores.

Nice staff and stylish room, breakfast is brilliant

This is one of the most stunning hotels in the area! We had a room with a private hot tub overlooking the sea and it was fantastic 😍 That hotel has everything to offer for a pleasant stay; the views, comfortable rooms, attentive personnel, delicious food and an amazing selection of drinks. Breakfast has a variety of options for vegetarians and vegans, so if you are a plant based, you will find lots of options on the menu.

Place was good and clean. As we don’t drive location was not really good for us though there was bus stop near to the place. It would be fine if there was no holidays, but since we went on new years there was no bus on that day and having an early flight we have to go before sunrise and there was no streetlight at all, it was scary. I guess we just booked it at the wrong time of the year, unless you drive it would be a good place to stay.

Die beiden Gebäude der Tür sind auch das Hotelzimmer. Obwohl es keine Klimaanlage gibt, ist es im Grunde nicht erforderlich, die Klimaanlage zu erstellen. Wir müssen Mitte September in der Unterkunft warmen und schlafen. Die Tagestemperatur ist gerade gut und es ist zu komfortabel. Bild eins großes Zimmer, Bild zweites Stockwerk, Bild zweites Stockwerk, Bild drei ist ein Fernsehen zum Hauptgebäude des Hotels, das Wandergebäude am Tor, an dem ich wohne. 🫣

Dieses Hotel ist das kostengünstigste aller Hotels auf dieser Reise. Die Zimmer sind klein und können nicht gedreht werden. Die Toilette ist zu hoch. Die Badezimmertür ist zu schmal, um sie zu betreten. Die Klimaanlage war nicht zu warm, da sie nicht sehr gut war, da es sich um einen halb unterirdischen Raum handelte. Die Kellner sind meistens Inder, und das Frühstück kann auch reichhaltig sein.

Alles ist sehr zufriedenstellend, aufmerksames Personal, gute Zimmereinrichtung!
