I have to say this is the best accomodation in my entire Shanxi trip in which i stayed in 5 facilities. I truly appreciate the service provided, i got what i needed in a timely manner. As a solo traveller in a foreign country (i can speak simple mandarin, but cannot read chinese), i was glad that the proprieter could pick me up from Pingyaoguzhen station. Although i initiated the request, from then on, about 5 minutes before the train arrived Pingyao, he was proactive to send me a voice message on wechat when he arrived at the station and shared a photo to identify himself. The journey was 15 minutes in the car, followed by a tuk tuk as cars are not allowed to enter the ancient city during the day. The point of entry to the facility is via the north gate, it is a 3 minutes walk to Ma family mansion and about 10 minutes walk to the centre of the ancient city where most of the good restaurants are located. I booked a traditional chinese design room on the ground floor with the dragon-phoenix bed and another day bed. I did not ask, but i guess the facility is an old house that was built more than 100 years ago, there is a sign at the external wall of the homestay that indicate it is a protected building. As it was an old house, i was surprised that the room was clean, just the bathroom was slightly deteriorated (there is no separation of wet vs dry). The blanket in traditional dragon & phoenix design and traditional pillows with seed-like fillings were clean and odourless, i was so glad. Although the mattress was quite thin, it was not hard, i was glad. The proprieter gave me a map and explained the layout of the old city how to get around, where to eat, and help arranged shared car to Qiao family mansion. Upon checking out, i was given a bottle of locally brewed vinegar. The proprieter was not around when i left, he sent me voice message to arrange transport for my trip to the train station. I actually felt sorry when i told him that i booked another place in the more happening area of the ancient city (south gate) after checking out from his place. There are many buggy cars operating in the ancient city, charging ¥10/trip, you can tell the driver your desired destination and he/she will drop you at the door step or the closest drop off point if that area is not accesible.

Das Gasthaus liegt im Zentrum der antiken Stadt. Der Standort ist leicht zu finden. Mir gefällt der Einrichtungsstil des Gasthauses. Der Besitzer pflegt das Gasthaus sehr gut. Das Zimmer ist auch sehr sauber. Es verfügt über alle notwendigen Einrichtungen und bietet einen komfortablen Aufenthalt! In der Umgebung gibt es verschiedene Geschäfte und bei einem Spaziergang durch die antike Stadt können Sie viele interessante Schmuckstücke und Ornamente finden!

The hotel is located very well across from the airport, and it is a 10-minute walk from the airport. The room is large, the bed is comfortable, but the room has a lot of smoke, so the windows are open to ventilate.

Das Hotel liegt im Zentrum der antiken Stadt Datong. Der Service ist sehr gut. Es ist klein, aber fein. Die Verkehrsanbindung ist bequem und schnell. Das Hotel ist von zahlreichen Einkaufsmöglichkeiten umgeben und bietet eine gute Möglichkeit zum Essen.

Bei Anreise mit dem Auto navigieren Sie zum „北关停车场出入口“. Fahren Sie jedoch nicht direkt auf den Parkplatz, sondern laden Sie Ihr Gepäck davor ab. Kontaktieren Sie dann die Herberge; ein Dreirad holt das Gepäck ab, da es den Parkplatz nicht befahren kann. Der Parkplatz ist kostenlos, Sie können dort unbesorgt parken. Die Mitarbeiter der Herberge waren alle sehr freundlich und boten einen Abhol- und Bringservice bei An- und Abreise an. Im Erdgeschoss wird Reisefotografie angeboten, aber die Preise waren nicht besonders günstig. Ich würde vorschlagen, Gästen in Zukunft etwas mehr Rabatt zu gewähren. Das Frühstück, bestehend aus Reisbrei, gedämpften Brötchen und eingelegtem Gemüse, war sättigend. Die Südstraße ist wohl etwa 10 Gehminuten entfernt, was in Ordnung und nicht weit ist. Es war auch ruhig zum Schlafen, die Klimaanlage war leistungsstark und die Nass-Trocken-Trennung im Bad war ausgezeichnet. Ich kann diese Unterkunft sehr empfehlen.

Ich habe zwei Tage in Datong und zwei Tage in Linfen gelebt. Meine Mutter sagte, dass dieses Hotel das beste und auch das billigste der vielen Hotels sei, in denen ich übernachtet habe. Daher ist es nicht leicht, die Bestätigung meiner Mutter zu bekommen. Meine Mutter und ich reisten mit dem Flugzeug und der Bahn an und der Chef machte sich die Mühe, uns zweimal abzuholen. Als wir in der antiken Stadt Dacheng ankamen, stellte er uns jede Touristenattraktion vor, an der wir vorbeikamen, und empfahl uns viele köstliche Gerichte, die einen Besuch wert waren. Später gingen wir zum von ihm empfohlenen Fenglin-Pavillon, und Xiaoxifu Liangfen war wirklich köstlich. Wir hatten die Suite gebucht, die schallisoliert war. Die Wohngegend ist zudem sehr ruhig und liegt nicht in der Nähe einer Straße, sodass meine Mutter gut geschlafen hat. Der Chef war sehr freundlich und hat ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück zubereitet. Ich war geschmeichelt und er hat mir sogar Nudeln gemacht. Das Haus war sauber und das Bett sehr bequem. 3Dieses Geschäft möchte ich unbedingt noch einmal besuchen und nach meinem Besuch eine gute Bewertung abgeben.

Dies war unser zweiter Aufenthalt im Xinyue. Wir sind extra für die letzte Nacht aus der Altstadt hierher gezogen, um die Lichtshow vor dem Yongtai-Tor zu sehen. Wer den Menschenmassen entgehen und trotzdem einen Blick auf die nächtliche Altstadt genießen möchte, für den ist diese Unterkunft die perfekte Wahl. Das extra breite Kingsize-Bett-Zimmer bot einer dreiköpfigen Familie problemlos Platz. Direkt vor der Tür gibt es eine Bushaltestelle mit direkten Verbindungen zum Südbahnhof Datong und zum Huayan-Tempel. Eine Taxifahrt zum Yanghe-Tor kostet etwa 7 Yuan. Die Lage erfüllt somit alle Reisebedürfnisse. Die Unterkunft bietet Gepäckaufbewahrung an. Die freundliche Dame an der Rezeption bemerkte, dass auch ein Kind bei uns übernachtete, und brachte uns daraufhin extra ein drittes Set an Pflegeprodukten. Der Service war sehr aufmerksam.

Das Zimmer ist groß und hell, es gibt Fenster, saubere Hygiene, Service ist enthusiastisch und aufmerksam, die bereitgestellten Geräte sind sehr vollständig und es gibt einen einzigen Pferd. Ich hatte wirklich nicht erwartet, sehr zufrieden mit der Unterkunft Erfahrung. Ein Freund, der mit dem Spiel zu gehen hat, kann in sein Haus reservieren, richtig, vor allem ist es ein gutes Parken, die Tür ist ein Parkplatz, sehr bequem.

Location: near LinFenXi High Speed Rail Station 临汾西站(10mins drive/ 20mins by local public transport to LuoGuQiaoTou 锣鼓桥头站). Best is that they provide pick-up and drop-off at HSR station, just make a call 3 hours in advance. I dont have local number, so I email them in advance before my trip, they replied my email and provide me their WeChat number so I can make reservation for the pick-up service at the station. Many local tours have pick-up and drop-off service near the hotel (junction outside the hotel), easy and convenient. Services: warm and welcoming services. Tea and drinks in the lobby, luggage storage as well. Room: clean big room, big screen TV, mini bar fridge, bathrobe and comfy king bed. Lavender shower shampoo, hand soap and body lotion, make me feel so so much relax. Laundry: laundry machine are free of charge (washer and dryer). Laundry room provide ironing equipment, books, drink as well. Definitely not get bored. Otherwise, can use phone connect their website to make a reminder while the laundry have done (so convenient). Gym Room: just opposite and same level of laundry room. Treadmill are so new. Breakfast: varieties of choice. Before that I already crave for coffee since it is not so common to find espresso in the local breakfast restaurant. Salad bar, local meatball soup, noodles, dumplings, wantons, boiled egg, fried egg, fried tomato with egg and local cooked food. So many choice and so satisfying. However they dont have egg omelette, it is fine for me. I found that even though not staying at LinFen city centre, it is still fine to stay here as the traffic here is convenient. And here is more quiet and more relax👍 The only thing I dont like is, some customer smoking in the lift and hotel lobby (even though there is a sign in the lift to advice not to smoke), definitely affecting those unlike smoking smell and sick of cigarette smell like me.

Das Hotel hat eine gute Lage mit der antiken Stadt im Hintergrund. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön im europäischen Stil eingerichtet, künstlerisch, sauber und ordentlich. Nachts ist die antike Stadt vor dem Fenster beleuchtet und die Landschaft ist atemberaubend. Die Sanitäranlagen sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen, schließlich wurden sie aus einem alten Hotel renoviert. Das Frühstück ist abwechslungsreich und die gehobelten Nudeln sind wirklich lecker. Der Einfachheit halber ist das Parken mit Sicherheitshinweisen ausgestattet.
