Aparthotel Los Girasoles

Our stay in Aparthotel Los Girasoles was excellent. The location and comfort of the apar**ents in which myself and other family members stayed was second to none. We were all visiting the city for my son's wedding and Los Girasoles was the ideal place to stay. The apar**ents were really clean, well furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The beds were very comfortable and breakfast in the roof restaurant was a real treat with lots of choice and a wonderful view of the city. An outstanding aspect of our stay was, however the helpfulness of staff from the manager and reception staff to the staff working in the restaurant. They were all so friendly and could not have done more to assist with any requests and queries. I would highly recommend Los Girasoles.

We had a wonderful 2 night visit to Zaragoza. We were very lucky to get a room here- our priority was to get a hotel with secure parking , as close as possible to the old town. We booked a space - I think 33e for the 2 nights (apologies- I can’t remember exactly). The room was very comfortable- everything you would need- comfortable bed, air conditioning, fridge- even had Netflix- my guilty pleasure 😂 We had a nice drink on the rooftop terrace- fabulous view. We didn’t use the pool but fyi it’s on the same floor as gym and walk through it to get to pool. The staff were wonderful and always available- even came up to our room to help us figure out the safe! Also the best advice as regards where to eat. Not 5 star but it fitted all our priorities.

Great location, just minutes from most of the major attractions, Restaurants and the Bus to/from Delicias Station is right outside. Entrance Foyer is very much like a Hotel. Good Gym, but Pool wasn't available as it was too cold, even though their website said it was. We had a large Apar**ent on the 1st floor. At first glance it looked really nice, but after a few minutes, you realised that it was of very poor quality - Kitchen was old, cheap Crockery (pyrex), pans with broken handles; you had to run the hot tap for over a minute before any hot water came out - a tremendous waste of resource, especially with a drought in the region. It took 2 days for someone to come and open the inroom safe for us. You have to ask for the basic of appliances - Kettle, Toaster, etc. Bathroom extractor fan did not work and there was no visible signs of a smoke detector either. There were works of some sort going on, but we weren't pre-warned of the noise. We complained several times to the Staff, but they didn't seem bothered. Even the Manager laughed at some of our issues. They did buy us some new pans - I can only imagine, that the 'spare' pans they did have for other Apar**ents were of the same poor quality, so they had to buy us new ones. Overall, a great location and the Apar**ent had a very comfortable bed - alas, the quality of the Apar**ent was very poor and nowhere near the expectations of a 4* establishment.

Facility was more than I expected since it was a total apar**ent with two bedrooms and a sofa bed. The view from the restaurant for the buffet breakfast was very good. The staff was helpful and courteous. The location was very clean. The hotel was very centrally located with easy walking distance to the Pilar Cathedral and center of town. The price was reasonable. CANNOT ASK FOR MORE!

Excellent place from the start. Bus to and from railway station stops right outside the door.. Everything is just a short walk away. Room is well laid out, bed separated from sitting area and kitchen separate. Great to have a fridge/freezer and washing machine as well as cooking facilities. Room had a small balcony but really too small to sit out on. WiFi was fine. Never used the restaurant so can't comment.

All staff were so welcoming, friendly and helpful. We started in a large apar**ent on the side road which was sooo noisy til 5am Friday and Saturday night/next morning and otherwise with people shouting, plus bin lorries, deliveries etc. We were on the first floor so nearer the road. We asked to move and we were given a quiet room overlooking the back. Brilliant! There for 14 days and found the kitchen ill equipped for a making a decent meal. Asked for a kettle and got one!

The upside of Los Girasoles? Well, you will definitely appreciate your next hotel. The rooms are advertised as modern and maybe they were somewhere in the 1960’s. Everything is old, not well taken care off and much too expensive for what you get. And we were even in the ‘superior room’ of which the only thing superior was the price. All in all a very disappointing stay. Zaragoza must have better places too stay. I am just sad we chose the wrong one. Advice? Don’t be like us.
