Canadian Hotel

Overall a good clean hotel. Shower cubicle was small but did the job, pool is small which it looks much bigger when booking. I went half board. Food was lovely BUT Breakfast nice english breakfast no problem there. Meals at night, fixed menu. Only 1 starter, 1 salad and 1 main and fruit each day being a apple and bit if pear. If you didn't like that food that day tough. I did ask about the other menu which anyone can purchase. Yes i could have had that at a extra cost with no reduction in cost even tho i already paid for half board. Surely a reduced price would ne better. Very noisey hotel because of the young adults there. Overall ok Would i go back .. NO GREAT HOLIDAY BUT NOT FOR ME X

Went on my first girls holiday with my 2 friends one being (Chelsea (DJ) and had the best week of my life! The food was un real and reasonable prices. George (boss man) and Andrea’s was so lovely and made us feel like we were at home. Had the most unreal experience .Would definitely recommend if you like to party. Will definitely be coming back.

Just got back from Canadian Hotel in Zakynthos would highly recommend this hotel all the staff were excellent throughout the hotel, the breakfast was excellent and all the other food that was served in the Savvy bar, will definitely go back there, i just like to thank them all again for making it such a lovely holiday From Peter & Irene Critchley

We had an amazing time when we stayed in this hotel until an incident happened before we left, however the manager made all the efforts to solve the matter which we are very grateful for. Location: Excellent, close to the beach, restaurants and close to the *****. Food: We had breakfast included in our package holiday and they have 3 breakfast options. We always chose EGGS which was kind of like an english breakfast with a choice of orange juice or coffee. They serve breakfast from 8am to 2pm and you have to get a voucher from reception. Their restaurant Savvy serves amazing food and their staff are hardworking and brilliant, they always gave us welcoming smiles. George always made time to chat with us and even gave us free shots on my birthday :) It was okay to order food to takeaway for us to eat back in our room. Room: The air-con cost 10 euro a day, the wifi 3 euros per day per person and the safe we didn’t even bother. The room was big enough for the three of us and the fridge/freezer was a luxury for us. It’s the only time that I stayed in a hotel where the freezer actually froze the bottled water. The shower was a bit tiny but it’s okay since we’re only small in build. I found spots of blood stains on my bed sheet and on the new blankets they gave one morning, so I asked for a new one in reception and she gladly gave me a thick pink one. There was a stove and utensils to use if we wanted to cook which was convenient. YOU CANT FLUSH toilet paper in the toilet!! (Fair enough) Staff: The two receptionist during the night and day were exceptionally lovely and helpful. it’s a shame we didn’t get their names. The night time receptionist printed us a timetable for the bus when we asked for information. Swimming pool: It was quite small so we didn’t use it (we swam in the sea everyday instead) but it was nice to sit and chill in the pool area at night. Tours: If you want to make the most of your time in Zakynthos, I recommend Nefis Travel Zakynthos because they do eco friendly turtle tours and the Back to the Roots tour allowed us to meet local residents in villages and learn about the history of this beautiful island. In summary, would I stay here again? I’m not sure but I will definitely come back to eat at Savvy. Thank you for taking care of us when we stayed there! All the best. God bless

Great hotel in a central location rooms were comfy and clean close to the beach, bars and restaurants. Staff very friendly also a big shout out to George and the staff at the Savvy bar and restaurant attached to the hotel. Only downside you will have to pay for WiFi In the rooms but free in nearby bars and restaurants. All in all would definitely return.

Very welcoming apartment can't do enough for you George and the rest of the staff cheerful clean rooms clean towels every day lovely pool near to beach and shops 10 min transfer to resort will be returning

Best Bar in Zakynthos, felt like home, amazing staff! Thanks George!!! Food is perfect, breakfast is amazing, never missed one thing....I really recommend the Hotel, the Savy majnly for quality drinks!!!

As previously stated, the WiFi has a daily charge 'Per Device'. Air Con and Room Safe are chargeable too. The swimming pool is very small, OK for a dip but not really for a swim. The room was clean, although dated and the Kitchette well equipped. The hotel has an arrangement with the attached restruant 'Savvy.' I've attached menu which I think is limited and many options are chargable. We went with Tui on Half Board basis but we were really surprised to find that drinks were NOT included with the evening meal, this again was an Extra Charge. The staff were all friendly. Summary: The hotel was OK however, be aware of the extra charge items! The food was OK but limited, and repetative menu and, again, a lot of options were Chargable.

You pay extra for air conditioning (EU10 per day), Wi-Fi (EU3 per day per device ) and room safe(EU3.50 per day). The Wi-Fi cuts out after 15 minutes and you have to log in again each time with username and password. This is not a 3 star hotel. The room was small and dated, the self catering kitchenette a real joke. The room was kept clean, the staff were good, the shower great and the beds comfortable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
