A HUGE disappointment awaits for unsuspecting travelers. I booked a stay in trendy Navy Yard because I like to try new areas. Was in DC for 2 nights to pitch a design project. I had paid for an upgraded room category so I’d have a terrace and a view of the Capitol. I used the Bonvoy app to make sure I had extra towels and pillows upon arrival. I arrived in DC and went immediately to my meetings and then to dinner with clients so didn’t arrive at the property until 830PM on Friday night. I knew the property had a rooftop bar so I asked at the reception desk to not be put on the floor beneath the bar and Robin said my room wasn’t. I was assigned room 431 - which was spacious and clean. However: the electronic blackout drapes and one of three of the black out shades were off the track so light flooded in, the sheer shades on one window were hanging and on another window not functioning at all. Bright blue light from the glass front mini fridge made the room glow (covered with a towel), a glowing green light from a power cord did the same (unplugged) and the toilet paper holder hanging off the wall. 4 hangers in an open closet- I had clothes for a black tie event and 2 outfits to hang and couldn’t. BUT - the absolute worse was the fact that ALL NORTH FACING ROOMS in the hotel face I-395 expressway!! An 8 lane road with 55MPH limits! The 4th floor literally the same level as the highway! The terrace unusable as it was covered in exhaust soot and the roar that of traffic overwhelmed. I put in earplugs and literally slept with a pillow on my head! I was up at 5AM when the traffic started the next AM. I called the front desk and told them I’d need to change rooms and the 5AM manager said to contact the desk again at 9A when housekeeping arrived. I went down at 9A and spoke to Robin again (she was very nice and def tried to help)- I told her I was going out for a run and if I could change rooms on return that would be great. When I returned to the hotel I was told my room category would have to be downgraded- no Capitol view or terrace - and that the room would be on a lower floor - BUT IT WAS STILL FACING THE HIGHWAY! I went back to my room and just decided to leave it alone rather than ruin my busy day. The front desk manager was at the desk when I had both conversations with Robin and she made no offer of anything as an apology- no comp breakfast, no comp drink coupons at the rooftop bar, no Bonvoy points - nothing. A simple feature would have def made me at least feel acknowledged. My 2 night stay in the upgraded room category was $971.66- so almost $1000 for two horrible nights of no sleep. This hotel was a HUGE disappointment and an embarrassment to the Marriott brand.

Ich habe hier vor kurzem viel geblieben. Nichts ist so gut wie mein erstes Mal da. Letztes Mal hatte das Zimmer Spider-Webs es war enttäuschend. Die jüngste meiner Reservierung war für eine Nacht. Es gab eine Menge Laut Aktivität in den Abständen während der Nacht Wenn ich endlich schlafen musste ... EORT AM ein Kind rief mein Zimmer 3 mal letztes Mal sagte sie, dass ich zu viel Lärm zu machen, bevor sie um ihre Mutter oder eine Erwachsene sie gefragt Anhängen. Später in diesem Abend fand ich heraus, dass ich eine andere Nacht zu bleiben. OMG !! Laut Lärm die ganze Nacht lang KIDS klang, als würden sie die Olympischen Spiele laufen, die das Büro genannt sie sagten, sie würden Sicherheit senden. Die immer noch die Nase auf und laufen. Schließlich schlafen 7-730 Ich dachte, sie würden Bau machen. Unglaublich. Das Hotel hat drei Abschnitte Ich hoffe, der nächste Aufenthalt wird nicht in zwei oder drei sein

Wir wurden von einem freundlichen Front Desk Rezeptor begrüßt. Es gibt keinen Valet wie beschrieben, aber es ist Selbstpark für $30 pro Tag. Keine Mobile Key verfügbar in diesem Hotel. Keine Schlüssel-Dropbox verfügbar für diejenigen, die in der App checked out. Die Halle war so heiß wie draußen. Unser Zimmer war sauber kaufen AC war nicht konsistent, um das Zimmer kühl zu halten. Telefon im Zimmer war defekt. Front Desk konnte Sie kaum hören. Wir mussten zusätzliche Badezimmer-Sachen mit der App beantragen. Ich habe gebeten, Gesichtsgewebe, da der linke da war ein einziges Gewebe darin, aber wir haben es nie. Komplimentar Frühstück ist frisch gemacht und das Essenspersonal war untergebracht. Check out war einfach über die App. Das Hotel ist in der Nähe von Washington und ist in der Nähe von Capitol.

The room is basic and comfortable and the campus is quiet and welcoming. The hotel is a short distance away from Union Market with a wealth of dining options. We walked from the hotel to the Capitol area through lovely neighbourhoods. But, we paid $106 to park there for two nights. Seriously? A great place to stay as long as you don't have a car.

Ich reiste nach DC mit meinen Vor- und Jugend-Söhnen für ein Basketballspiel. Die Unterkunft hat meine Reservierung nicht erhalten (reserviert durch die 3. Party), aber das Front Desk Personal dauerte die Zeit, um es richtig zu machen und uns aufzubauen. Sie hatten einen hervorragenden Kundenservice während unseres Aufenthalts. Dieses Hotel war Sehr sauber. Ich war eigentlich überrascht, weil ich hier vor etwa 10 Jahren häufig bleiben und einige Dinge etwas ablaufen erwartet. Es zeigt sich, dass das Hotel sehr modern ist und sieht gerade so gut aus wie es vor zehn Jahren. Die Lage ist perfekt, da es in der Mitte der Nachbarschaft von NoMa ist und es direkt neben der Metrostation NoMa/Gaulludet (Red Line) ist. Es gibt ein paar kleine Geschäfte über die Straße und eine 7 Eleven nebenan, wenn Sie nach einem schnellen Biet suchen. Das Zimmer selbst war komfortabel. Mein jüngster Sohn und ich schliefen gesund auf dem Können, das Größenbett und mein ältester schlief auf dem Sofa. Er war ziemlich komfortabel, ohne den Sofa sogar abzufalten. Insgesamt werde ich hier sicherlich wieder reservieren, wenn ich oft DC besuche. Fo wie teuer dieses Hotel ist, die Qualität war phänomenal. Ich kann nicht warten, um zurückzugehen.

Sehr gutes Hotel, im ersten Stock ist ein großer Supermarkt, Essen, Obst ist reichhaltig und der Preis ist günstig, das Auto kostet 1,99 US-Dollar pro Pfund, es ist zu bequem. Es ist auch bequem, den ganzen Weg zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten zu gehen. Es dauert 15 Minuten zu Fuß zur Union Station und 20 Minuten nach Chinatown. Guter Service und gute Lage.
