K Resort

Excellent a**osphere and rooms are clean. Pet friendly resort. Natural and greenish. Lot of free space. Swimming pool is excellent and big. They have seperate swimming pool for per dogs. Food and ambience is great

We had heard a lot about K resort, so for my father's special birthday celebration, we had booked two rooms and stayed overnight. Pro: 1) The room is big, spacious and clean. 2)The bathroom is big and the shower pressure is amazing. 3) The A La Carte menu: The Indo-Chinese and the Indian cuisine very tasty. Now all the negatives: 1) Due to the location, lots of lizards and frogs enter the room. Terrified me badly. Whole night I slept with all of my lights on as I could hear the lizards making the noise. Still getting shudders thinking about it. They need to fix this problem. 2) My parents' room AC was not working well. We had to keep calling them to fix it. 3) I agree the food was delicious, but the service in the restaurant was super slow. We were the only family living and dining. Still it was not well organised in the order the food came. They gave us the gravy and made us wait for the chapathi nearly for 30mins! 4) The restaurant ***ager was super rude. Out of the 4 people, two people ate their breakfast in the restaurant, for the other two, we decided to pack as due to medical reasons, they needed to fast before eating. He questioned us why we packed so ***y dishes (according to him), and doubted us as if we wanted to free load some food. Ridiculous behaviour. I pointed out, two people who ate the breakfast, ate three times the amount we packed for the other two. 5) Generally the whole service is slow, from room service, fixing the AC, catching the extra lizards and frogs in the room, food serving: in short they made us wait for a long time. 6) The pool was dirty. They did not bother to clean as the resort was empty apart from our family. 7) The buffet breakfast was average. As we were the only guests, it was very basic. In short the hotel and staff did not give their best or even bothered as we were the only guests. My mom and brother did not stay the night and left after dinner, as they were not happy at all. I am glad we booked only for 1 night. Never coming again. It was a terrible experience for my family.

We had a great stay in Pondicherry. The place is so big and have lot of spaces to walk around and there are ***y outdoor games available. The resort is also pet friendly and we got to see some cute puppies around. There is also a large outdoor swimming pool and everything is well maintained. Restaurant is a bit costly and they serve lot of North Indian dishes too. Overall we enjoyed the stay and had easy access to all the nearby attractions.

Spent the weekend at K resort after a huge gap during COVID. Boy was i amazed! What an amazing property. Sprawling, clean & well maintained. The staff was super supportive. The food was limited but GREAT. super quick service and every single request was catered too. Our room was HUGE & spacious with an outdoor seating. The bathroom was massive. The swimming pool was mainted really well with sufficient play equipments. Only draw back was the curtains - they were not blackout. Maybe it was designed to get us out and explore the property! We brought my childs cycle so he was super thrilled to ride around the property without any hassles. Overall a fantastic stay. Will definitely head they if the occassion arises to travel to Pondy once again.

The place is nice, but they don't provide "free" breakfast for the whole family. Only two members get free breakfast and you have to pay for the other folks in the family. This information will not be provided to you until you come for the breakfast. This review is to let people know of this.

I booked 2 cottages - visited with my parents (senior citizens) and family in the last week of March, 2022. Had an excellent stay - amazing hospitality. Delicious food & very peaceful comfortable resort. The staff from front office, room service, house keeping, kitchen staff - all were very courteous and helpful. The resort and the room very well maintained - clean and hygienic. I was very impressed with the service and would recommend everyone. Had a great stay!!!

No doubt had a good offer to stay here from the Hotel, but there is few things which are little downside , The Resort doesn’t have transport they leave it to you to come and go on your own.The Restraunt open space continuously stinks of sewerage and they insist on serving there or inside ( with AC). We asked the Resorts of the options to come from Chennai Airport which they said can be done via Ola , we took Ola who in turn charges extra 1250/ - rs Tax on pretext of State Pondicherry tax ( whereas the hotel is in Tamil Nadu and since the Hotel didn’t bother to tell you that you end up paying this amount ) . For everything they charge the TV in the room has locked HD channels, The options for Breakfast Buffet is limited and ala Carte is rocket high priced ( 2 cups of tea will cost 387 Rs). This resort is 18 kms from City and there is no help in providing the 2 wheeler or 4 wheeler on rent , so you end up paying Ola again Entry Tax of Rs 387 daily tax besides the charges of transit ( avg 800 Rs). The Villas are nice and clean and Housekeeping is good as well. Pets are allowed so overall good on the Hotel part to have this facility for the pet owners to enjoy. For people who want absolute serenity and calmness may book this as the city limits are far off , but be prepared for self contained and self ***aged trip as there is no transport / or nearby options of rental vehicles. Have 3 more days to go , and have hired a two wheeler from Pondicherry which again have to go and return and come back in a hired cab. Best wishes all
