Let's put this review in perspective: We were a group of 4 who planned a ski trip to Cerro Catedral on relatively short notice (about 2 months). By the time we made reservations there were very few choices available in Cerro Catedral. WE ended up reserving a 4 bedroom apt that was way too big for us and way too expensive because it was the only thing available at this hotel. So, the apt was very spacious and comfy. It had all the amenities you may need, except for Wi-fi which was terrible and apparently that is the normal at Cerro Catedral. We had several issues with the apt, but, after reporting the issues, they were corrected very quickly. The staff here was very friendly and accommodating. Because of the staff and the kitchen I gave them 4 stars instead of 3. They have a restaurant on site for in-room dining only. We were surprised that a small hotel like this had a kitchen for their gusts. And it turned out to be a really good kitchen. All the meals that we ordered were very good. Plus: Location. If you are debating whether to stay at the village or down the mountain, don't debate anymore. Staying at the village is a huge advantage. Traffic into and out of the resort can be really bad. Friendly staff Hotel kitchen for in room dining Spacious apartments Minuses The rooms are a little outdated and in need of renovations. The biggest minus for us was the price. We ended up paying $1,100 per night for our apt. You may want to argue that for a 4 bedroom apt at a ski resort this is actually cheap, but we found the price way too high for Argentinian standards.
