Stayed here for 3 nights in October. This is a Pension and it is not a fancy hotel. Location was excellent one block from the opera house, rooms were very clean, very comfortable, bathroom was clean and comfortable. There is no lobby it is on the second floor of a residential block. Staff was very nice and helpful. It is a perfect pension in Wein and is a good reminder of the way hotels in Europe use to be. It is very well priced for an expensive city.

Pension Suzanne has a wonderful location. I will say it is located in the heart of the city. All historical places and luxury brands place Graben Strasse is in the 3 minutes walk. But not only these places gastronomic goods are very close as well. Employees are very friendly and they try to help very warmly when you want. No breakfast but it doesn’t matter. Bakery is under the apartment. Soooo not to look any other options.

A beautiful pension to stay with a great location in the city center and good value for money. Super clean room and bathroom, tidy and daily room cleaning service. Very comfortable and cozy. Highly recommended. The staff also is very helpful and friendly. Upon arrival we had a minor issue and a gentleman helped us immediately. By the way check-in is not available 24 hours but the self check in and checkout is super super simple and easy. I LOVE MY STAY HERE..

We stayed 4 nights at Pension Suzanne, and the location inside the Ringstrasse was unbeatable. The hotel is 1 minute walk from the Opera, and a 2 or 3 minute walk from the Karlsplatz metro stop and the Tram stop, and it was only several minutes walk to some good restaurants. This saved us much time seeing the sights being so close to public transportation. There was a buffet breakfast with soft boiled eggs, cheese, breads , cold cuts, pastries, fruit, yogurts, and coffee was brought out by the staff to your table. The elevator was very small, but we did not have to wait on it very often. We stayed in a large double room superior room # 71 overlooking the Walfischgasse Street, and our room was very quiet even though we bordered the street. We had an in-room air conditioner that worked well. There were a few times that the wi-fi didn't work perfectly, but most of the time it did. The breakfast staff in particular were very friendly and helpful with getting us coffee to bring up to our room. The water was hot with good pressure, and the bed was also comfortable, and the room was a good size. You do need to use your keys to get in the building after hours, and to lock your room, as the door does not lock automatically when you close it. The hotel does not have lounge areas, or a 24 hour reception desk, or similar type amenities, but we didn't require those. We would recommend staying at the Pension Suzanne for 4 main reasons: unbeatable location, good breakfast, comfortable bed, and air conditioning (which is not very common for Vienna!)

This place is outstanding. Located steps from the Opera House. The location is perfect. The reservations were easy to make, Michael was very helpful, and the rooms were nice. Comfortable beds, plenty of hot water, great staff to keep rooms clean. Will stay there again and recommend to all.

(+)The pension has an absolutely perfect location in the heart of the old town, in the middle of the sightseeing and shopping mile Kärtnerstraße, next to subway station - ideal for visiting the opera or exploring Vienna. We had an apartment with a separate kitchen in the adjacent building - very quiet, very clean, daily service. The building has an elevator and the front door is lockable. The room is furnished in old Viennese style and gives you the feeling of living in Vienna. (-) A microwave in the kitchen would be very useful. Fitting carpets could be problematic for allergy sufferers.

I have stayed at Pension Suzanne many times over the past 15 and more years, sometimes with family and frends and it has really become my "Viennese home." It has an atmosphere one rarely finds in bigger, "updated" hotels and a staff that couldn't be nicer as is the family which has owned the pension for many years. You can't beat the location, especially if you love opera (the State Opera is about a three minute walk away) and the breakfast has been super for the food, atmosphere and especially the charming staff on hand. Unfortunately it has become very popular so sometimes it is not easy to get the right room at the right time.

Our family loved this hotel! We had the family suite, and it was perfect for us and our two boys. The breakfasts were delicious, the staff was wonderful, and the location was absolutely perfect for exploring Vienna -- we walked everywhere besides Schonbrunn Palace. The hotel is clean and nicely decorated. If we end up back in Vienna again, I'd look forward to staying here!

Nice stay at Pension Suzanne, ideally located close to the very center of Vienna but in a quiet street. The hotel is cosy, clean and comfortable and offers excellent value for money. Definitely recommended if you visit Vienna and wish not to overspend on your accommodation.
