Grand Hotel Moon Valley

從Seiano車站出來，要沿公路上坡，大約要步行10幾分鐘才能到達酒店。這個酒店很適合辦Party，有游泳池、酒吧、花園、大型自助餐廳，我們住酒店期間正好有人在辦一場18歲的慶典活動。 酒店所在地方周邊沒什麼服務設施，就歺困難，酒店會建議選擇他們的自助歺（人均30歐）。 相比於阿瑪爾菲和波西塔諾這樣熱門地方的海景房的天價，這裏的海景房價格就相當親民，而且有火車和巴士很方便去到上面2個地方，所以當初的選擇Seiano是對的，從這裏還能很方便去龐貝。 酒店房間沒有熱水壺、一次性拖鞋、洗漱杯子居然提供2個薄薄的一次性紙杯，連玻璃杯都沒有，開眼了。房間也不提供瓶裝水。 歺廳很大可以看海景但早歺品種一般，沒得選擇。

Lovely hotel with friendly helpful staff. Good quality furnishings and marble floors, lovely swimming pool. The food at dinner was poor and the breakfast slightly better - best part were the lovely fresh oranges. The rooms were comfortable apart from the 5 nights of loud disco music until midnight making the window frames and shutters vibrate with the bass. We had a lovely balcony and sea view. There was no complimentary water or drink making facilities in the room and the rooms did not have their own iron. There was a fridge in the room. Excellent chamber maid service. It is convenient for the local train station and there is a timetable in reception who can sell you train tickets. The climb down to the beach and restaurants down there is quite steep and requires reasonable mobility. ( there is a mini bus service but I did not find out about that as we walked)

Just got back from a really nice stay. So many negative comments so I'm focusing on the positive. Lovely location a brilliant base for exploring. Hotel itself yes it is dated,but it's spotlessly clean. Staff incredible friendly. Food nice yes I've had better, but it was always cooked fresh and hot. Outdoor space was amazing gorgeous pool fantastic view's lovely seating areas , plenty of sunbeds. Rooms were ok plenty big enough for 2, again very clean. I would stay again thankyou grand moon valley

I love Grand Hotel Moon Valley. It's spotlessly clean The staff are so lovely The trips from the hotel are great I enjoyed the food - and the restaurant staff were brilliant about making amendments (like two starters rather than a starter and main!) My favourite part is the view. Sea view upgrade is 100% worth it. From early morning coffee, to wine at sunset, to a nightcap amaretto. Staring out across the bay of Naples. Mount Vesuvius staring back at you. Watching the world go by. There's some lovely restaurants and shops a few minutes from the hotel, and the beach is a steep downhill 20 min walk away. The train station is 5 mins down the hill, and for a few euros a ticket you can find yourself in Sorrento, Pompeii or Naples.

The good... Lovely & clean hotel, staff were pleasent. The not so good.... Didn't realise hotel was as remote on a busy road, it's not actually in Sorrento it's in Sieano. The bad... This hotel could be fantastic the food let's it down, you have to select what you want from a choice of 3 items the night before, it isn't explained very well, The first night we had dinner we weren't told about the vegetables or salad that were on a buffet, so we simple had fish & potatoe. Like I've said it's spotlessy clean so there is so much potential.

The hotel staff were very attentive and pleasant.everywhere was extremely clean and well maintained.The restaurant food was limited and choosing what you would like the night before was not so good The hotel was only 10minutes from a very well run railway line Seiano is a very pretty hillside village

The hotel bills itself as a 4 star, which it definitely isn't. It's between a 2 and 3 star UK hotel. The location was OK but given that the food wasn't up to much (more of that later) there were only a couple of restaurant alternatives within walking distance without going in to Sorrento. My room was OK as I was given a double for solo occupancy so had plenty of room. The bed was comfortable enough but I did wake up feeling achy a few days, which doesn't happen normally. The pillows were strange as one was super firm and the other super soft - I suppose to give you a choice and I could have asked for more. The wifi was almost non existent most of the time that I was there, which is very frustrating given the reliance of a lot of services e.g. the travel company app being only accessible online. It also makes it very difficult to do local research to find out what to see and where to go. The staff were very friendly even if they weren't the most efficient. Given that they entertain a lot of British guests the level of English was below what I expected as, sadly most Brits don't speak Italian. The food at dinner can only be described of extremely poor quality in terms of taste, standard of cooking and the varying levels of warmth from lukewarm to cold. The potatoes were invariably undercooked with the other part of the meal usually overcooked and rubbery. There was also a distinct lack of vegetables, green or otherwise served with the main meal. In the end I gave up and went out to eat as wanted some hot tasty food. Overall not a hotel i will be dashing back to if I find myself in this area again.

Clean hotel we had a good sized family room with large balcony. Good housekeeping, lovely pool which was really quiet when we visited in April. Great views across to Vesuvius and easy train into Sorrento, Naples and all the historic sites but the trains can be busy and we were slightly early in the season! Breakfast is buffet style and good, evening meal is not buffet but can choose the night before was good food but some nights the options were limited, and no kids options, you pay for all drinks including water. Helpful staff…oh and they don’t take card payments so get your euros ready!
