Shree Ganesha Palace

The service was really amazing. I needed to check out at 4am, and they helped me a lot! the restaurant was also nice!

By quirk of fate I landed up at this hotel due to a bad experience with a neighbouring hotel. I was surprised n happy that the rooms were so large, clean n such a beautiful friendly helpful atmosphere. The veranda with sitting etc was again a clincher. Its location is off the road so very quiet. They also offered to help me for visits to temples etc. Very reasonably priced compared to the other similar hotel next to them. An example I ordered a bottle of drinking water which cost me Rs99 at other hotel n only Rs10 at Shree Ganesh Palace. I fell sick due to heat n d mgmt went the extra mile to call in a Dr n follow thru his instructions by a lady staff member. Next day the staff member helped me pack too considering my weakness. N on my return the mgmt called to see I was ok. One of the best hotel mgmts n would only stay at this hotel on my next visits… n my friends too..

Hotel is nice, placed in centre of Varanassi, close to all ghats. Stuff is extremely friendly, special Suhail whit his comunicative style and helpfullnes for every wish. Romms are clean and well stuffed. Maybe curtain for showers can be longer not to spray water around the washroom when showering Recomended!

Wonderful hotel, especially Sonu the reception ***ager was very helpful. Quit place and right in the centre of town. Lovely food as well. Safe for western tourist. Sonu helped us with booking some local tours and gave us sightseeing tips. Thanks guys!

What a great location. A bit tricky to find but a call to the hotel soon sorted that. So close to the wonderful madness of Varanasi but amazingly peaceful. Not completely peaceful - that would be impossible due to its location. The rooms are small, but well organised. The air con was very efficient. Although others have commented on hot water problems, we didn't have any issues. The courtyard was charming. The staff were very friendly and helpful, they arranged a VIP trip to Aarti, river boat cruise and VIP trip to Golden Temple. It's well worth doing both the VIP Aarti trip and boat cruise. The food in the 1916 restaurant was good and I just loved Suhail - what a clever, lively character. I had a mental block on his name even though he kept telling me. Hopefully I've got it right now.

Having stayed here in 2018 which instilled confidence to rebook again in 2022, post pandemic. What a fabulous upgrading this place has gone through since we were last there. All mod cons, new rooms , air con, swish lift and last but not least an in house restaurant Cafe 1916 which served delicious food. Icing on the cake is the fantastic location of this hotel, as one can walk to Kashi Viswanath temple and Dasaswamed Ghat which is the hub of all things spiritual to experience Varanasi in its truest form. Last but by no means least, the warm hospitality , helpfulness and excellent communications meted out by Chirag and A*** is something one cannot put a price on. Won't be staying anywhere else whenever I am in Varanasi and I do hope it will be sometime soon once gain.

The hotel is very central just 10 minutes walk from one of the most important ghats in Varanasi. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The price is somewhat higher than average but the hotel is worth it. It has a restaurant where we have breakfast and dinner. The food was fine, just fine, but there are no ***y places for tourists to eat in Varanasi, at this hotel is a good option.

Excellently located, away from noisy streets, but right in the center where you can feel Varanasi. Close to numerous shops and it takes around a 10 minute walk ***** a main road to the Ghats, specially if you want to enjoy the Aarti ceremony in the afternoon o early morning. The rooms were very comfortable, clean and all traveller ammenities. Hot water, heat/air conditioning. They have their own restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner, home made food, great! The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, they were all very kind! Their ***ager, Har****, is the best. They speak English, but most important, Spanish, something that is no so common in India (I am from Argentina). They helped us arranging tours, guides and transport to the airport. I highly reccomend this place. I will definitly go back to Shree Ganesha Palace and spread the word to my friends! Excelentemente ubicado, lejos de las calles ruidosas, pero justo en el centro donde puedes sentir Varanasi. Está cerca de numerosas tiendas y se tarda unos 10 minutos a pie por la carretera principal hasta los Ghats, especialmente si quieres disfrutar de la ceremonia de Aarti por la tarde o temprano en la mañana. Las habitaciones eran muy cómodas, limpias y con todas las comodidades para viajeros. Agua caliente, calefacción/aire acondicionado. Tienen su propio restaurante donde se puede desayunar, comer y cenar, comida casera, ¡genial! El personal del hotel fue amable y servicial, ¡todos fueron muy amables! Su ***ager, Har****, es el mejor. Hablan inglés, pero lo más importante, español, algo que no es tan común en la India (yo soy de Argentina). Nos ayudaron a organizar tours, guías y transporte al aeropuerto. Recomiendo mucho este lugar. ¡Definitivamente regresaré al Palacio Shree Ganesha y correré la voz entre mis amigos!

Must stay & eat We enjoyed the wonderful breakfasts and dinner. The food was exceptionally good and the service from Suhail exquisite! I highly recommend staying at the Shree Ganesha Palace. The hotel staff were friendly and responsive. Jenni, Perth, Australia
