Firstly I will start with the positives, the hotel was nice with beautiful greenery surrounding. The decor certainly wasn’t modern however it was perfectly fine. Secondly the negatives, customer service was inadequate. Two of us are vegetarian and one morning we had to leave before breakfast opened so were told we would have ‘takeaway breakfast’. We clarified that these would be vegetarian three times (at checkin, the night before and in the morning when collecting the bags) but when we got on our journey we found they both contained ham. This is absolutely unacceptable and I hope they treat allergens more seriously or they could kill someone. When we mentioned this to the receptionist she just smiled and nodded and said ‘oh okay’, which is not an acceptable response. Also you have to pay for water here which we were absolutely fine with. When we bought a second lot on the second day we realised we had paid double the amount the previous day. When I said this to the receptionist again she just nodded and after a long pause said she would call someone. Other members of our tour group also agreed they had paid double the price the previous day. The following morning the receptionist was extremely rude and told us we were lying. She also told us, in a borderline threatening manner, that everything we do is on camera which is a bit weird given we were in a hotel so hoping she didn’t mean ‘everything’ as that’s a gross invasion of privacy. When we asked to watch the camera footage she was speaking of she told us it wasn’t available. The amount of money was not significant but the reaction of staff was wholly inappropriate - especially for a hospitality business. Overall would not recommend anyone stay here. Customer service skills require a lot of improvement.

One of the most unique and romantic places I have ever stayed. We had one night but wished we had stayed longer. The resort is located on a stunning and quiet location with beautifully decorated rooms. We loved our dinner and breakfast and the service was exceptional. I think it was Gualha who served us at breakfast- he was such a gentleman. The spa and massage treatments were the best. We floated back to our rooms. The whole experience was exceptional. Thank you

It was worth it, for the nature and comfort of the hotel, all the staff is very friendly and helpful in general, Rudy was a great help, he explained to us a little about the customs of the area, he directed us to the hummingbird park, and it was a nice experience..

Ich hatte das nie in einem Hotel erlebt und fand es sehr ernst. - Es funktioniert sicher nicht für lange Aufenthalte oder als Grundlage für die Erforschung des Heiligen Tals, gerade weil es auf der Bahnhof ist. Der Ort hat einen starken Geruch von BÜRNUNG FÜR FÜR VERBRENDUNG, und es gibt TREIN NOISE die ganze Zeit. Sie wachen auf und gehen schlafen in die Klangschlange, die sehr chaotisch und unbehaglich ist. - Es gibt andere viel bessere Optionen in der Stadt. - Es ist etwa 10 Minuten vom Zentrum entfernt, mit einem vernünftigen Aufstieg. They are resistant to simple requests. - Ich bat um Computer auf der Rezeption, ein persönliches Dokument zu sehen, das nur über Computer zugänglich ist. Sie erlaubten mir nicht, es zu verwenden, und es gab keine andere verfügbar für Gäste zu verwenden. - Ein Hotel dieses Wertes hat keine Ausstattung, nur Seife. Es gibt keine Dusche, Hautfeuchter, Baumwolle Wolle. Ich habe das nie in Hotels gesehen, die sich selbst als ”Shop” klassifizieren.

Hotel Luz Garden was great! The staff treated us like family and were very nice! They came by each night to see what time we wanted breakfast and even let us stay in our room a little later so we didn't have to set around town waiting for or train. I will definitely stay here again.

The rooms are small but well appointed. They are very helpful but only speak Spanish. We stayed in a room we were quoted as 40 USD but I paid in Soles. The conversion was fair. There is a standard charge 5 percent to use your credit card. It was very clean and the staff was very helpful but June nights are cold by the river and there was no heater remaining when we asked. The bathroom was nice with a big shower and beautiful sink. Just had to step up to get from the room to the bath. Pics are from AFTER we used the room. It was clean and made up when we arrived. Meant for one but big enough for 2 people. I didnt find it noisy and the upstairs patio was a great place to rest after checkout before the train. Wifi was solid and the staff had great advice! Great It location. It was midway to the hot spring and the train. In the morning away from the lines but direct path and very ose to the bus to Machu Picchu.

Tolle Begrüßung, sie warteten am Bahnhof auf uns und das sehr nette und freundliche Personal, sie begleiteten uns, um die Bustickets zu kaufen, und erklärten uns alles über die Stadt Machupicchu, das uns zugewiesene Zimmer war sauber und mit allem ausgestattet, was wir brauchten Unser kurzer Aufenthalt, das heiße Wasser hat perfekt funktioniert, das Frühstück, das sie uns zum Mitnehmen gepackt haben, hat uns sehr geholfen, den Berg zu besteigen und neue Energie zu tanken. Wenn ich hier für einen neuen Aufenthalt empfehle, danke für alles, werden wir tun bald zurück!

Großes Personal! Wir haben hier zweimal mit Gruppen von Freunden geblieben. Das Personal ist immer sehr hilfreich und freundlich und freundlich. Die Lage in Machu Picchu ist großartig und viele der Zimmer haben große Aussichten auf die Berge. Die Zimmer waren sauber und komfortabel und das Hoteldekor ist schön. Sie haben auch ein sehr schönes Frühstückszimmer/Bar und das Essen, das wir hatten (nur Frühstücksbuffet) war auch gut. Wir werden sicher hier wieder bleiben.
