The Beverly Hills is and always has been a wonderful experience. Staff are above and beyond in their service. Rooms overlook the sea and have spectacular sunrise and sunsets. All meals are exceptional, breakfast on the terrace with its amazing buffet is a delight to start the day.

Das Bervely Hills ist ein sehr gutes Hotel mit gutem Service. Ausstattung der Zimmer, Betten, Bäder sehr gut. Leider etwas in die Jahre gekommen - wie auch Rest der Anlage - immerhin aus 1964. Personal und Aufmerksamkeit sind sehr gut und wir hatten eine schöne Zeit - direkt am Meer . Wir können das Hotel sehr empfehlen

Very nice property and service. Let down bady by outdated and poor room quality. Stayed in room 106. Basin wouldn't drain , meaning you brush your teeth and rinse ...and it stays there . Shower is in the bath , so a bathroom/shower combo, no separate shower. Problem is that the bathtub is soft, narrow and of poor quality . The taps are two separate hot and cold taps which are in front of the bath and at the bottom. You have to bend to adjust while the shower overhead is showering you at once. Can't understand who would approve such a catastrophic setup.

As always the Beverley has surpassed itself. This is my third stay and I wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Durban. The staff are impeccable and they can’t do more for you. Room in excellent condition and contains thoughtful touches. Food great breakfast and dinner service. Room service is well presented and to a good standard. If I was going to criticise I would say the balcony’s could do with a spruce up but other then that great. See you next year.

The hotel overlooks the Indian Ocean, it has a great pool and plenty of sunbeds. The rooms are kept to a high standard and the staff work so hard to maintain superb standards of cleanliness. All the staff are really friendly and welcoming. The breakfast is yummy and the food in the restaurants is of a superb quality.

The Beverly Hills Hotel nestled along the Umhlanga coast is both beautiful and welcoming.
The hearty reception on our arrival & the professional Check-in experience set the tone for what was a truly beautiful stay. A stunning room with spectacular views of the Indian Ocean and the sounds of the waves breaking on the shore were mesmerising. A modified Afternoon Tea at The Lounge, Dinner at the Elements and Breakfast at the Sugar Club were all sublime. Dining was a gastronomical delight which was further enhanced by the warmth, attentiveness and hospitality of the Staff. Every member at the Beverly Hills were courteous, accommodating & ensured that we were more than comfortable at all times. This was an unrivalled hotel stay which has certainly beckoned our return in the future. Thank You Beverly Hills !!

This hotel was extremely over priced. Room decor is very outdated, aircon unit made noise. When we arrived at our room the cleaning staffing were sitting on the floor in the hallway relaxing and chatting loudly. No help with our bags. Ordered food at the pool that took over an hour to arrive and was burnt. Only positive is the bed was comfortable, linen exceptional and towels were best I have ever used.
