Don't you know there's a war on? ”Please be quiet, some people may be asleep”, yeah, I get that, but the floors squeak everywhere... Interesting pre-Victorian building, lots of history. Herbie was the best member of staff, poor lad was run ragged as he seemed to be the only one working at night (except two large security guys that popped in). In this day and age: paying for wi-fi? Seriously? Only £3.00 a night, hardly seems worth it on top of the room cost. Paying for parking ( on a first come gets a space) again, started at £4.00 a day, charge increased by a pound per day mid-week... So why've I been charged £5.10? Staff couldn't explain... Oh, it's ”horizon”, we all know how they fudge figures. Just ask Mr Bates. Oh, and another thing ( read that book, it's funny), putting the 'top me up' sign on the door in the morning doesn't work... Perhaps as it was the last room on the floor, maybe the cleaner's string wasn't long enough to navigate the labyrinth.

Es gibt ein Fernseher mit wenigen Sendern, ein Badezimmer mit kleinem Bad und eine separate gute Dusche. Das Zimmer ist sauber, aber Zimmerreinigung, saubere Handtücher usw. ist nicht standardisiert. Deshalb müssen Sie fragen. Das Frühstück ist in Form von Buffet. Es gibt Service für Kaffee, Toast und besondere Bestellungen. Das ist ein sehr attraktives Gebäude, geräumig in der Innenstadt und auf einem attraktiven Ort umgeben von Bäumen außerhalb der Stadt. Einfacher Parkplatz. Angesichts seiner Alterslage braucht das Gebäude jetzt eine Erhöhung, ist aber immer noch elegante, und wir haben besonders die schöne Lounge gefallen. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstück und Abendessen (Wir liebten die Orange). Besonderes Dank an Connie, Tim und John für das Gefühl, wir sind wirklich willkommen. Ohne Klimaanlage hätten wir eine Sommer-gewicht-Duvet auf dem Bett geschätzt. Wir würden auch eine Toilettenschlange im Badezimmer erwarten, und eine Option von pflanzlichem Tee auf dem Willkommensschrank. Wir würden es wieder verwenden.

Das Personal im Spa und Orangery ist hervorragend mit Ausnahme eines ziemlich schlauen Masseur. Mein Gesicht war eine wunderbare Erfahrung. Zum Spa-Kosten hätte ich mehr erwartet. Mit den Gästen fühlten sich ihre Massage kürzer als die zugewiesene Zeit. Die Behandlungen wurden nicht in Synchronisation mit anderen im Party gebucht oder ausreichend geplant wrt mit Fitness/Badewanne. Mein Gesicht war vor meiner Sauna/Schwimmbad. Die Lounge/Warte- und Entspannungsbereiche brauchen beide eine Top-Notch-Kaffeemaschine. Der Pool muss warmer sein. Das Wechselzimmer ist zu klein und die Schlauchscreen sind fast transparent. Die Dusche benötigen Luxusschampoe, Duschegel und Körper und Handlotionen. Das Make-up-Bereich ist zu klein für Damen, die für den Nachmittag Tee oder post-spa-Lunch glammieren. Es muss auch mehr Abfall-Bins sein. Das Orangery ist schön dekoriert und leicht und luftig. Der Nachmittagsthee ist ziemlich klein und die Nahrungsergänzungen sind leider belastebar. Tee ist ergänzend. Die Schöne sind klein und nicht warm. Insgesamt ist das große Personal im Vordergrund und die Qualitätsdekoration für einen Mangel an Substanz in Einrichtungen und Lebensmitteln, die sich wie ein Absturz in einem der bemerkenswertsten Hotels von Tun Wells fühlt.
