We stayed for one night at Ishbell's B&B. It was excellent, she a nice two story home in Lossiemouth, right near the water (literally one street away from waterfront). There are probably 4-5 rooms upstairs where the guest stays, and each room has the name of a different town. We had the Skerries room, which came with a nice clean large bed (it looked like a queen size bed for us americans), with it's own shower, and your own TV. I've attached a photo of the view from our room, which over looks the water. You'll get a set of keys for your room, the home, and a small room where you can lounge if you like (see attached photo). Ishbell is a darling, she was incredibly kind, warm, welcoming and responsive. She offers breakfast with cereal, granola, yogurt, mueseli, orange juice, milk, fresh berries. She offered me porridge (oats soaked in milk overnight), and cooked eggs, sausage, bacon ham, black rice pudding, beans, tomatoes and mushrooms. We had stayed at numerous hotels across Ireland and Scotland (Hilton, Crowne Plaza), and it was easily the best breakfast from a flavor profile. You have breakfast downstairs in a dinner room, where there were three other groups also eating breakfast. We had a small issue with a door lock in the house being jammed which Ishbell quickly fixed. She was prompt, cheerful, full of energy and vitality and really a gem. Highly recommended for a stay here if you like quiet, calm and peaceful place to stay with an engaging host.
