Große, toll angelegte Hotelanlage, bei der die Zimmer in Gruppen zu kleinen Häusern zusammengefasst und einen steilen Hang hinauf verteilt sind. Zugang über Treppen, Straßen und zwei Aufzüge, einer sogar mit Zugangstunnel. Alles sehr sauber, modern, große Poolanlage. Hoher Wohlfühlfaktor! Trotz der direkt am Hotel vorbeiführenden Straße zur Marina (s.u.) sehr ruhig. Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Üppiges Frühstücksbuffet. Tavernen (Tip: die Bar „Green Dollar“ gleich beim Hotel und „Stavvas“ 5 Gehminuten vom Hotel), ein kleiner Supermarkt und Autoverleih nahebei. Mietwagen kostet € 40,--/Tag. Der Galissas-Strand direkt beimHotel ist nicht sehr attraktiv und ziemlich windig. Nichtsdestoweniger kostet ein Set je nach Liegenpolsterung € 15-- bis 25,--/Tag (wobei die ungepolsterten Standardliegen schon ziemlich gammelig daherkommen). Allerdings ist der Strand für Kinder ideal, da es extrem flach ins Wasser weit hinausgeht. Für gehbehinderte Personen gibt es sogar eine spezielle Rampe. Achtung: am Hotel vorbei führt eine Straße zur Marina, auf der allabendlich die örtliche Jugend ihren Geschwindigkeitswahn speziell auf schweren Zweirädern exzessiv auslebt! Es wird wirklich halsbrecherisch bzw. verbrecherisch gerast und wenn man mit Kindern vor Ort ist, sollte man besonders achtsam sein. Wir haben in dieser Hinsicht in 50 Jahren Griechenland so einiges erlebt, aber das toppte wirklich alles! Das schöne griechische Wort „Malaka“ kam uns mehr als einmal über die Lippen... Ausflugstip: Ano Syros, die „alte Stadt“ über dem modernen Ermoupoli sollte man gesehen haben, man sollte aber gut zu Fuß sein!

Excellent hotel for cleanliness , staff and food. Beautiful views - nothing was too much trouble to make our holiday great. Beautiful swimming pool with lifeguard even though the beach was so close. Manager very approachable and helpful and always available. Waiting staff very obliging and Constantinos made our holiday with his friendliness and willingness to make our meal enjoyable. (Hope Luna has returned) All in all a brilliant holiday destination made perfect by all the staff. Ian and Gail Crombie

The views from this hotel are simply stunning. Even from the rooms you can spend hours just looking over the bay. The food and service in this hotel is top class. Breakfast is everything you could want. I’m surprised that some people say there is too little because you cannot eat here and want something more, the cherry on the top is the wonderful reception staff. The swimming pool is long clean and very refreshing. In our opinion, this is the only place to stay here.

Anyone who doesn’t rate this hotel 5 star is crazy. What an amazing place and has everything and more - rooms had the best view and everything new and working , pool is huge clean and refreshing , food is wow, and breakfast is such a big choice there is nothing missing that I could think of eating In essence if you going to this gem of an island don’t stay anywhere else you will be sorry , reception staff were the cherry on the top

I went with my husband and my mother who is 83 years old. They gave us a very large, comfortable room with a wonderful view. The pool was clean and the hotel stuff was excellent and very friendly (the manager, the restaurant waiters, the cleaning ladies). But what really astonished me were the skills of the chef. He did wonders with the main dishes! The buffet was rich and essential and the main dishes were exquisite yet not heavy! My congratulations to the chef!!!

We had a nice room with great sea view! The hotel in general was clean as well as our room. The staff was friendly and helpful! Sunbeds and umbrellas are available at a small fee, belonging to the hotel. It is a frailly hotel but we didn't feel that it was noisy. Highly recommend!

Spent a couple of nights here whilst Island hopping. Stay did not begin well as man on reception made us wait for a long time on checking in and was then rude and provided no information or offer of assistance with our bags. Room big and clean but the bedside table was hanging off the wall and there was a hole in the wall. Pool large and hotel near to beach and other staff friendly. We had an early departure but none of our group had been informed they were opening the breakfast area for us before we left, so we all went without as our cabs had arrived.
