Zwei waren sehr geräumig. Reisen für Arbeit und war günstig zu teilen, einschließlich Frühstück. Exzellent Größe Zimmer, anständige in-Zimmer-Essen und Qualität. Über die Erwartungen für ein La carte Frühstück, wirklich reibungsloser Kaffee. Der Fitnessraum war sehr gut ausgestattet, mit leichten Erfrischungen und Lagerung verfügbar. Personal hilfreich, jubiläumig, geduldig und freundlich. Schönes, Erbe Gebäude in der Nähe der Lichtbahn und entweder Ende der Sydney CBD.

Hotel in erstklassiger Lage zu Darling Harbour. Öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind rund um das Hotel gut erreichbar. Zahlreiche Restaurants sind fussläufig zu erreichen. Die Zimmer sind mit einer Küche ausgestattet und sind zweckmäßig eingerichtet. Die Zimmer sind sauber. Das Personal ist hilfsbereit und freundlich. In der 20. Etage gibt es einen Innenpool

The location is very convenient. One can walk to nearby attractions and the Museum station for transit to and from the airport. The staff were friendly and helpful, and allowed me to check in early and check out one hour late. However, the WIFI is a bit slow and I didn’t get the connection for my computer unless I put it next to the microwave oven near the door, making it a bit inconvenient for me to do my work or conduct online meetings. The breakfast choices were the same during the whole time of my stay. I’m glad that I only stayed for 3 nights.

Auf einem Familienausflug während des Frühlingsfestes wohnte unsere vierköpfige Familie in einem Turm-Zweibettzimmer im 13. Stock. Das Zimmer war sehr geräumig und konnte den Glockenturm sehen. Das Zimmer ist komplett ausgestattet mit Minibar, Kapselkaffee, Teebeuteln, Haartrockner, Bügeleisen, Passwortbox, 3 Flaschen Mineralwasser pro Tag, Einwegzahnbürsten (diese gibt es in anderen Hotels nicht, Einweghausschuhe). Das Bett ist ruhig weich, aber unterstützend. Als Person, die gerne tief schläft, verspüre ich beim Aufwachen am nächsten Morgen keine Beschwerden in der Taille. Das Hotel hat eine sehr gute Lage. Bis zum Opernhaus, zum Hyde Park, zu Kunstgalerien, zum Botanischen Garten und zu Museen sind es nur zehn Minuten. Unten im Hotel gibt es verschiedene Einkaufszentren und Luxusgeschäfte und zum QVB sind es 5 Minuten. Werde es Freunden empfehlen, die Sydney besuchen!

We really liked the location, it was right next to Darling Harbour. We got a warm and friendly welcome by the intern Brent at the front desk. He was nice and told us about all the things to do around, however, we had requested a room with a view, that they didn't provide, which we didn't fuss over. We were pleasantly surprised to see an Indian dish in the already wonderful breakfast spread, and we loved that. The chef was kind enough to proactively ask us if we enjoyed the food and if we had a special request for the breakfast the next day, which they gladly honored. The hotel also had direct access to Darling Harbour, which was very convenient as we wanted to visit it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and liked the hospitality and customer service at Hyatt, and would gladly visit again.

4 night stay for Vivid. Chose this as an Accor member and that it was close to the Harbour. Upgraded to a Prestige Suite, Club benefits and was not disappointed. Yes the building is not new, it’s not like the shiny new hotels in town, but it’s solid and my sleeps were uninterrupted and rarely heard noise from the hall. My Suite 930 was spacious, clean, well appointed, Sofitel Bed topper and electric sockets to plug in my adapters to charge. Like other reviews no USB ports but I’m sure most sensible travellers have an adapter. The Club Sofitel access was the perfect addition. Early check-in and waited with a hot tea while my suite was made up. It was 9:30am but the room was rushed and 30 minutes later I was unpacking. Evening canapés and drinks from 5:30pm. Table drink service by Alley and her dedicated, personable, attentive team. They remember your preferences pretty quickly and it became an oasis from Vivid hoping and sightseeing. My suite completely blocked out the light and slept through 2 alarms, it’s the Sofitel Bed topper. Breakfast at Club Sofitel, peaceful, plenty of options to choose from, salmon and capers to a great gluten free station, eggs cooked to order and a great way to start the day. Try the Dilmah Blood Orange and Eucalyptus tea. Thanks Lara. Afternoon Tea served from 2:30 and daily sandwiches , scones, cakes and complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and soft. On entering the Club Lounge, always a friendly greeting, your preferred drink served and a relaxing space anytime of the day. The Club team really made my stay, they work really hard to make your stay great. Housekeeping always made up my room before my afternoon return. Always a Bonjour as you walked past them in the hall. My stay was great. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The Lobby is grand and the history of this hotel makes her great. Not the newest but I prefer tradition and good honest service. Definitely not the style of hotel for everyone but my expectations were met and exceeded beyond imagination. Club Sofitel is a must. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Das Hotel trumpft absolut mit der Toplage, alles Wichtige ist zu Fuss super zu erreichen. Die Rezeption ist absolut professionell und freundlich. Frühstück kann für 20 Dollar pro Person spontan gebucht werden. Das Gym etwas klein und nicht alle Geräte im Betrieb :-( die Aufzüge stark frequentiert, aber war klar über die Silvester-Tage. Die York-Street eher laut.

Everything went well. We were provided with the twin bed room as specified in our booking, with no unexpected surprises like being given a king bed, which we did not want.. Stayed for 3 nights. Amenities were of good quality. Service was not bad, was attended to immediately at the entrance by the bell boy who handed our luggages with enthusiasm. Was also allowed early checked in as our room was ready when we arrived.

Wir wurden durch den Lärm der Kinder gestört und auf die Wand aus dem angrenzenden Zimmer geklaut, während wir versuchten zu schlafen. Trotz zweimal anrufen der Frontdesk, setzte der Lärm fort, was unsere Ruhe erheblich störte. Zweitens war die Behandlung eines Brandanfalls unzureichend. Wir wurden plötzlich durch eine Stimmebekanntmachung geweckt, die unverzüglich die Evakuierung ohne vorherige Untersuchungen anordnete. Dies führte zu unnötigen Panik, die einige Gäste auf den Treppen schliefen und andere nur zu Fuß. Als wir die Lobby erreichten, arbeiteten die Mitarbeiter wie üblich und informierten uns, dass die Alarmstufe von jemandem ausgelöst wurde, der in einem Zimmer rauchte. Ich glaube, das Hotel sollte ein wirksameres Protokoll für solche Vorfälle einführen, einschließlich einer angemessenen Untersuchung vor Evakuierungsaufträgen und klare Anweisungen, um Panik und Verletzungen zu vermeiden. Ich hoffe, dass diese Bedenken angegangen werden, um die Erfahrung für künftige Gäste zu verbessern.

This is an amended review to highlight the ongoing lack of communication from the hotel. It is fair to say that the hotel had some great things going for it but, sadly, customer support is not one of them. Breakfast was excellent and the roof top Aster bar was a great place to enjoy a cocktail and see some spectacular sunsets. However, the whole thing was let down by extremely lacklustre support from the management down. My wife lost her glasses in the hotel. They are prescription reading glasses in very distinct designer frames and were in a sparkly gold box. We asked at the desk during check out if they had been found and were told that they had not been handed in but that reception would check with the Aster bar, where we believe they had been left but was closed at the time of check out. We were due to be in Sydney again in 4 days and the receptionist took all the details and a description of the glasses and case and said that she would email me to give me an update. Sadly we didn’t hear back. Four days later when we returned to Sydney we checked back at the hotel there was no note against our booking and the duty receptionist said nothing could be done but was unable to confirm if a check had been made in the Aster rooftop bar. I asked to speak to the duty manager and an Irish lady, whose name I sadly didn’t get, came out to speak to me. She was very apologetic and said it was not the normal standard we should expect from the hotel and promised to speak to the Aster staff and that she would get back to me by email before the end of the day. Sadly, no further communication was forthcoming and a follow up email to the hotel remains unanswered. We realise that the loss was our fault but the lack of interest from the staff and unfulfilled, empty promises from the management would definitely deter us from staying there again. It would appear that the management have no interest in fostering customer satisfaction.
