Hotels in Athen mit Pool

7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

Ich kann es nur wärmstens empfehlen. Die Anlage ist sauber und neu und das WLAN ist schnell. Es gibt auch eine Küche und einen Arbeitsbereich, daher würde ich diesen gerne wieder nutzen.

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

Es war das erste Mal, dass ich in dem Hotel übernachtet habe, und es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt. Ich war 402 Tage im Zimmer. Das Einzige, wofür ich Sie verantwortlich machen wollte, ist, dass die Unterseite der Tür ein wenig beschädigt war, was aber nicht der Fall war Ich habe die Mädchen darauf aufmerksam gemacht, die sehr nett waren, als sie geputzt haben, und ich denke, dass sie sich darum kümmern und es bei ihren nächsten Buchungen reparieren werden. Ansonsten war in diesem Hotel alles großartig, einschließlich des Spas, in dem ich behandelt wurde, und dem Die Mädchen waren sehr nett und natürlich hatte das Restaurant, in dem ich auch einen Kuchen anschnitt, sehr nette Leute und sehr gutes Essen

Quite modern entrance hall and room (bathroom for disabled was not our choice). Reception friendly and provided good recommendation for late dinner. The first morning I woke up by very loud cleaning personnel. Walls are paper thin and door not soundproof. You hear everything. Breakfast terrace with nice view. Pool terrace too small and only available for some hours if slot pre-booked. Music, food and shisha on the rooftop club/restaurant quite okay.

Die Lage ist schön, nahe am Zentrum von Athen und direkt am Strand (nicht der schönste, Voullagmeni), da die Straße vor dem Hotel sehr stark befahren ist. Der Pool auf dem Dach ist perfekt, mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls ausgezeichnet und das Personal sehr freundlich. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber, die Dusche könnte etwas sauberer sein. Insgesamt aber ein sehr gutes Hotel.

Ein sehr schöner und angenehmer Aufenthalt. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und abwechslungsreich. Der Service war zufriedenstellend, allerdings wurden die Kaffeekapseln nicht täglich aufgefüllt, was angesichts des Hotelstandards schade und etwas geizig war.

Zwei Zimmer mit der Familie zusammen reservieren, die Lage ist im Zentrum, der Preis ist 𠕇 etwas hoch, das Frühstück wird einem gestatten, ein bisschen scharf, das nächste Mal haben Sie die Chance, dies zu bestellen, aber Sie können die Art und Weise wählen, die Stadtzentrum zu wählen, der Service ist sehr vorsichtig und die Umgebung ist sehr ruhig

Nach dem Einchecken mehr als 30 Minuten auf den Zimmerschlüssel warten, mehr als 10 Minuten auf den Lift zum Frühstück warten. Unhöfliches Gepäckpersonal. Sehr nettes Personal am Pool auf dem Dach. Kein Schatten am Pool verfügbar (ich verstehe, dass sie wegen des Windes keine Sonnenschirme aufs Dach stellen können, aber beim Pool auf Ebene 1 im Innenhof verstehe ich das nicht). Wenn Sie nicht nach einer Geduldsprobe suchen, meiden Sie das. Check-in/Check-out-Warteschlange auf dem Bild um 15 Uhr. Schlimmer um 10/11 Uhr

This is definately not a 5 star hotel. I can’t understand how it’s been given that ranking. The room was definitely not the same as the picture. The carpet in the room was old and faded. The decor looked like it was from when it was first built or updated, at least 30+ years ago. The bathroom in the executive room was worse than Butlins basic accommodation in the U.K., and that’s saying something. The yellow sofa in the grand reception area was tired and dirty. I definitely would never stay there again or recommend to anybody. The majority of the staff were unfriendly. The waiters in the dining room never even looked at you. We had to go to them to request tea and coffee with our breakfast and it seemed like it was too much trouble for them. We stayed in the hotel as part of a fully inclusive cruise booking. The cruise company Iglu cruises must have got a really good deal with them. The hotel was full of people on fully inclusive deals. Definitely not five star. More like 2 star in my opinion.
