7.5/10 Location: Outside of “central” Athens but easily connected by metro & buses. Kifisia is gorgeous, safe, filled with high end boutiques, restaurants + cafes. Room/Ambience: Hotel itself is stunning + very relaxing vibe. Decor details incredible as expected of a boutique hotel of this nature.  Food: Very good selection of hot + cold, plus actual barista coffee. Do not expect American style breakfast - this is Europe after all. We did not eat lunch or dinner but the menus looked great and was filled with locals in the evening. Service: Although reception staff were sufficiently friendly, service very lacking for a high end boutique hotel. It was 26 degrees celsius every day while in Athens. Not prior to our stay, nor during check-in did anyone advise us that the pool was closed likely until end of May. This is not advertised on any booking platform, or on the hotel website, which was very disappointing. We sat in the pool lounge chairs for over two hours (staff saw us as the restaurant is immediately adjacent). Nobody offered us pool towels to lie on, or if we wanted to order any drinks or food. My partner had to get dressed, go to reception and ask. They didn’t even offer to clean the pool given the hot weather made it ready for use. It really put a downer on our stay, and why we opted not to have dinner at the hotel restaurant. Similar experience at breakfast; nobody offered us coffee orders, we heard someone else order and realised it was available.

This place is quite unusual. My room was upgraded so that I had a suite over two floors, with a small private pool on another lower level. Absolutely every convenience had been considered, some extras might verge on overkill (bog roll tied up with a ribbon for example). The room looked amazing on first inspection, but I quite quickly realised the smell of the pool was so strong it stung my eyes, and the sound of the ventilation unit was quite a roar. There was only one small openable window on the mezzanine level next to the bed and I had to sleep with that open as wide as possible. Bed was extremely comfortable, I had to turn off the pool ventilator unit in the middle of the night because it kept waking me up, but once I had done that and the smell of baking bread entered the room from a bakery down the road I slept like a log. Staff were really nice and friendly, but they are working with quite difficult circumstances and perhaps unnecessarily. The kitchen is on the bottom floor and breakfast is served on the 5th floor roof (from which you can see the Parthenon) breakfast is a little awkward as you get a huge wicker basket 🧺 full of food plus crepes, plus omelette, plus tuna sandwich, a whole baguette (some more little ribbons), and I am not sure anyone can eat as much as is provided, and the server had to keep travelling up and down in the one person elevator. Probably would be better to ask guests what they would like to have for breakfast out of the options available and have a coffee/tea station upstairs. There is the option to take lunch in your room - for which the picnic basket concept makes a lot more sense. Seems like there should be a way to make the place feel more efficient and common sensible. I did get the feeling that they might have only just opened and are finding their feet, so I hope this review will be useful - certainly was a generous accommodation and staff are working very hard to make sure guests have the best possible experience.

Quite modern entrance hall and room (bathroom for disabled was not our choice). Reception friendly and provided good recommendation for late dinner. The first morning I woke up by very loud cleaning personnel. Walls are paper thin and door not soundproof. You hear everything. Breakfast terrace with nice view. Pool terrace too small and only available for some hours if slot pre-booked. Music, food and shisha on the rooftop club/restaurant quite okay.

Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber. Wir kamen am Morgen des 11. an und unser Gepäck wurde freundlicherweise aufbewahrt. Als wir dann am frühen Morgen des 13. abreisten, packten sie uns sogar ein Frühstückspaket. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen und der Service war ausgezeichnet. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Nur leider habe ich vergessen zu fragen, wann wir unsere Kaution zurückbekommen.

600 RMB pro Nacht inklusive Frühstück ist ein tolles Angebot. Das Hotel sieht einfach aus, aber die Zimmer und Badezimmer sind sehr sauber und ordentlich. Dies ist ein typisches Merkmal griechischer Häuser. Das Aussehen ist gewöhnlich, sogar schmuddelig, aber die Inneneinrichtung ist exquisit! Das Frühstück ist im traditionellen griechischen Stil. Besonders das Sonntagsfrühstück ist fantastisch, der Salat enthält Blattgemüse. Joghurt und Honig sind köstlich. Die Aussicht vom Dachrestaurant ist unvergleichlich! Die Rind- und Lammgerichte im Dachrestaurant sind köstlich! Das Schwimmbad ist im Winter geschlossen. Im Raum befindet sich eine Tür, die zur Belüftung nur schräg geöffnet werden kann. Im Winter ist das Zimmer sehr warm und manchmal ist die Klimaanlage eingeschaltet. Die Wärmflasche ist etwa 0,5 Liter groß und sollte zu klein sein, können Sie Ihre eigene mitbringen. Südlich des Hotels befindet sich ein zweistöckiger Supermarkt, in dem Waren im griechischen Stil verkauft werden. (ehemals Carrefour) Das Eis in Beneth's Bakery gegenüber dem Hotel ist köstlich. Das Hotelrestaurant und die Gänge sind voller chinesischer Elemente. Ich frage mich, ob chinesisches Kapital darin investiert hat. Wenn ich Fehler finden müsste, wäre es so Nachdem Sie die dreistöckige Tiefgarage verlassen haben, müssen Sie 100 Meter nach draußen gehen, um zur Hotellobby zu gelangen. Die Parkgebühr beträgt 17 Euro pro Tag. Nach dem Parken nehmen Sie die Karte und bezahlen den Tag an der Hotelrezeption. I had an amazing stay at this hotel. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was modern with great water pressure. I also appreciated the small touches like complimentary bottled water, quality toiletries, and a well-stocked minibar. Housekeeping was consistent and attentive. Overall, a perfect and relaxing stay — highly recommended.

Wir verbrachten hier einen kurzen Städtetrip und fanden das Hotel einfach, aber sauber – für den Preis konnten wir uns wirklich nicht beschweren. Das Highlight waren definitiv der Poolbereich und die Dachbar, die sich perfekt zum Entspannen am Nachmittag nach einem Sightseeing-Vormittag eigneten. Die Umgebung war nicht die malerischste, aber das schien für Athen recht typisch zu sein, bis man die touristischeren Teile nahe der Akropolis erreichte. Trotzdem fühlte ich mich zu Fuß immer sicher. Die Hauptattraktionen waren etwa 30 Gehminuten oder eine Uber-Fahrt für 5 £ entfernt. Es gab eine U-Bahn-Station in der Nähe, die wir aber letztendlich nicht genutzt haben. Insgesamt eine solide, preisgünstige Option mit toller Aussicht vom Dach und entspannter Atmosphäre.

The hotel was sleek. I like the minimalist style of the hotel. Looks very new. The receptions area was bright and shiny. Classy. The hotel has a rooftop restaurant and a swimming pool (do not know if you can swim in the summer). It is not that big. From the rooftop you can see the parthenon. It was nice! The staff there are friendly and helpful. The food is okay and drinks were good though hotel price as we all know, is pricey. The room was spacious enough but they had no telephone to use to call the receptions if ever you need anything. However, I like that they had a nespresso. The location though is not that near to Plaka and Acropolis. It’s almost more than a kilometer away but it’s a straight line. If you are a walker, that would be a good warm up. They could call you a cab any time and they had all the information that we needed. Downside: Elevator was slow and noise from the hallway and the road could easily be heard. Wish they would do something to make the rooms sound proof.

Lovely hotel. Well situated and the roof top restaurant is amazing. Unfortunately the ladies at reception are LESS than friendly, to the point of being rude. I suppose we all have bad days, and maybe that was the case. However if hospitality is your chosen career, and front of office your position, ….:otherwise defiantly an amazing hotel which we are grateful to have experienced.
