Studley Castle

Excellent location and facilities. All staff were courteous and patient, providing a 5 star service. Quality and choice of food was excellent. Our room was classed as a "large room" and certainly did not disappoint, we were located in the Studley wing on the 2nd floor and had the benefit of a balcony providing great views of the local countryside.

I stayed at this hotel with with 2 very special friends from college where we met 40 years ago . We had a marvellous time chatting, being entertained, great food and rink and the surroundings were beautiful. It was a bit too cold and wet for us to do the outdoor activities as all 3 of us are disabled and use power chairs, manual wheelchair and a mobility scooter. All of these were fully accessible to use round the hotel facilities including the spa. The staff were all extremely helpful and friendly, nothing was too much trouble for them to assist us with. On arrival my scooter was taken out of my car and put back in again when I left. My case was carried into the hotel and taken to my room that I was sharing with one of my friends. We also booked facials and manicures before we left and enjoyed the most wonderful afternoon tea in the Garden Room that was just the best way to finish our weekend. I will definitely be back. All in all we had a fabulous time

My husband and I went for afternoon tea, which was a Christmas present from my parents. Lovely castle and surroundings. The afternoon tea with cocktails was very nice, four different sandwich fillings, scones, and cake, tea or coffee and cocktail each. Great selection. Helpful and friendly staff. Lovely couple of hours.

Food was great and the staff couldn’t be more helpful. Beautiful Castle to stay in. Entertainment top class. Would recommend to friends . Very suitable for people aged 70 + although groups of younger people were there too. Good swimming pool and Spa.

Our first Warner weekend break and it certainly won’t be the last. The welcome from the staff was excellent hassle free check in and a lovely clean room. Great entertainment and excellent helpful advice and service from all the staff. Nice walks in the local area with plenty to see.

Hi all been to studley castle for a week studley for me is one of my best choices of all and have been a few there was only one down fall with it car parking for disable persons as parking bays there are none only ur normal parking bays this makes it difficult using side door of urs car thaw facility’s in side are great room was great food great table I was able to pick in venue was great staff great over all 10/10 just car parking should have disability bays

We didn't know what to expect before we went. The hotel and the staff was far better than anticipated .The rooms where clean and comfortable and all the staff seemed to that bit further to ensure your stay was a good experience. We were pleasantly surprised that the bar prices were not extortionate

The photos don't do the place justice: this is a large 1833 Gothic Revival great house given a very attractive Warner revamp, and considering what must be its constant footfall (opened 2019) it has done pretty well. Set in pleasant countryside and easily accessible using most major routes, the hotel is capable of delivering the standard entertainment packages plus a good standard of comfort. There are two main dining rooms, the Brasserie with a superb panoramic view over the nearby countryside, and the larger dining room doubling as an entertainment venue: it works well. When we visited, the menus were varied and very good indeed, the bars carried a good range of drinks, and the service is friendly and generally on the ball. The building was generally refreshingly quiet. There's a good spa and pool (though the latter is smaller than some other Warner sites), and overall it is pretty well cared-for, though the balance between constant use and the need to get into dusty corners may be tough to maintain. The nearby countryside is full of rewards, but we came away refreshed after only two nights, and agreed that it had been most enjoyable. There's a questionmark over the selection of some of the entertainment though: the on-site staff are really excellent, but contracted acts may not be up to scratch.

freezing cold cold pool and spa area vile not worth the money sorry so so cold didn't enjoy it at all don't waste money on thinking this would be a lovely venue food ok but that's it I think the management should look at all comments. So looking forward to a lovely swim rubbish
